And he had his own glory. And the newspaper also said that he went and sacrificed four animals. And one of those animals was a buffalo.
Many years ago, when I learnt driving, my instructor told me, be careful of the brake inspector. I said, what? See that buffalo crossing the road is the brake inspector. I don't know what good will come out of offering the brake inspector.
I don't know what good will come out of offering the brake inspector. My dear friends, the Bible says that the blood of bullocks and goats and so on will never bring remission, cleansing of sins. will never bring remission, cleansing of sins.
And one occasion, I was speaking in a place very close to a pilgrim center. And there, I could see multitudes going on the road. Some were leading goats and animals.
And some were carrying cockerels. However, that evening, when I was going to my meeting, I got into a rickshaw. And I could immediately smell the man who was peddling the rickshaw.
I said to him, Hey, you have been drinking. He said, Sir, what can I do? I went to the place of pilgrimage. And as you go up to worship that spirit, for every step, liquor is being sold.
I said, what? For every step, you say liquor? Yes, sir. Now listen, dear friend. The fear of God will make you run away from the alcohol.
More people are dying on our roads today, not from the war, not from the earthquake, but by drunken drivers. Now I want to see all the drunkards, men and women, whose hearts have been changed. Stand up quickly.
I want to see all of you. I want to see all of you. Sometimes, I guess, there are women who keep company with their husbands.
Yes. I have seen thousands of these drunkards changed by Jesus. And some of them were distillers of this stuff.
And they never went back to it. The governments are trying to change this. They are trying to detoxify these drunkards and drug addicts.
All over the world, the world, they are so hypocritical. They love the excise money from drink. The governments, and then they plough it into detoxification programs.
But, can they restore the thousands who have died on the roads? These detoxification programs are a failure. But I have seen, when people go to the Saviour, they have been freed from a lying tongue, from adulterous eyes, from bribe-taking hands, from highway robbery, from an adulterous life in their families, Who did that? No man can do that. No Mahatma, no Guru can do that.
I can't do that. But He who died for your sins, He who conquered death and rose again, He has the power to make you a new person. He has the power to make you a new person.
