Thoughts coming at me from all these directions. All these things come to take away this relationship I have with God and to rob me of the power of God that's on my life to be a deliverer to my family and to my friends and to my neighborhood and my community and my nation, my city. And he tied them together and then he does something really peculiar. He sets them on fire. I mean, he takes a torch really and ties it between the tails of each of a pair of foxes. And then he turns them loose into the harvest of the Philistines and he burns down their fields. And folks, that's exactly what God calls us to do. We're not ignorant, Paul says, of the devil's devices. By God's grace, we have to bring it all together and say, ah, this is what the Lord, this is what the Lord is telling me. And this is what the devil has been trying to sow in me. This is why I'm keeping such company. This is why this type of thing is coming out of my mouth. Ah, I see now. This is not God. God has been just, God has been fair. He's never failed me. This is a seed of an enemy who's trying to grow a harvest of unrighteousness in my life. You see, but when the spirit of God came upon him, that's where the power comes from. To catch these foxes. The Bible says we have a might in us, in our God, that enables us to cast down imaginations and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We have the power within us to grab these foxes, tie their tails together and set fire to them and send them through and burn up the harvest as it is that the enemy is trying to plant in every one of our hearts towards God. That's where the power of God comes in. That's why you need the Holy Spirit and I need the Holy Spirit. It's the enablement of God to see as God sees and trust that God is faithful to us. It's time to set fire to the harvest the enemy's tried to plant in your heart towards God. There are people here today you've had a complaint against God. It's the devil himself is trying to set that seed in you and grow an unrighteous harvest in the promised land of Christ and take you out of the relationship that God has destined you to have with his son. It's time, it's time, it's time, it's time. And we start by saying, I'm not going to complain anymore. By the grace of God, I'm going to sing. I'm going to sing of his power. I'm going to sing of his mercy. I'm going to sing of his strength. I'm not going to complain against God. I'm not gonna complain about his church. I'm not gonna complain about his leadership. I'm not even gonna complain about the ushers on Sunday morning. I'm not going to complain anymore. I'm going to sing. I'm going to glorify God. It's also time, may I suggest for some here today, it's time to deal with that person that Satan has been using to sow a complaining harvest in your life. There are some people here, and let me just say this, that you're innocent in a sense that you've become a victim of your own fallen nature. Somebody has come, and because you have an undealt with grievance against God, has found access to you. And you're coming to church on Sunday, and Tuesday, and Friday, and the complainers found you. And will seek you out and come to you, and with a new tale. See, this is a fox that's spoiling the vine of God's life within you. But something is about to change for many here today. You're gonna have a glint in your eye. And when that person approaches you, whether it's today, or tomorrow, Tuesday, Friday, and they walk up and say, why is that glint in your eye? And you look them in the face and say, because I'm about to set your tail on fire. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I wanna give an altar call today for complainers. I guess it takes courage, but I can't grease the slide for you today, I'm sorry. Can't throw out one of those if you've got a sore knee. come to the altar. Complainers. You've had a grievance in your heart against God. It happens. It happens to a lot of people. But you say, Lord, I'm not living there anymore. I'm not opening my ears to these complaining stories. I'm going to be a worshiper and I'm going to grow in the grace and knowledge of my Christ. If that's you, if you're backslidden as well today and you need to get back to God, and if you're unsaved and you'd like to give your life to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, join these that are already coming as the worship team begins to worship. And in the annex, you can step out, stand between the screens. Complainers. Come on, folks. It's time. It's time. You need to get here. If you've given your heart to it, you've been part of a little circle, you've opened your ears, or you just even have a secret inner complaint against God because you say, God, why have you made me the way you have? Why aren't you using me more than you are? You've got a complaint against God. It's potentially opening your heart to a seed that can produce a very, very, very dark harvest. Come get it right with God. Declare him to be faithful. Just come and begin to sing your song of faith in God. Lord, if I never get out of the cave, you're still faithful. If I never understand, you're still faithful. You don't change because my circumstances change. You are still God. You're still merciful. You're still all powerful. You still have a mansion with my name on it in heaven. I'm still going to rule and reign with Christ for eternity, even if I don't ever understand what's going on on this side of eternity. I choose to worship you. I choose God. I choose fellowship with the righteous. I'm going to have beside me on the left and on the right, men and women of God who have faith in the God who created us and who will never fail us, whose words speak life and whose direction has a vibrancy and a touch of God in it. This is where I'm going to live. This is the kind of person that I'm going to associate with. And let the rest God deal with them. But I'm not going there. I'm not living there. I'm not going to be part of this. Oh, God, I pray, Lord, there be a shout of glory in this house. Oh, Father, let a shout of glory come into Times Square Church. Let this be a place where there's no complaining in our streets. My God, my God, let our children grow up hearing the praises of God only. Never, never complain around the table. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Jesus. Oh, Jesus. Let mighty men and women of God be birthed in this place. Let them go out the doors with a sword in their hand and a bounce in their step and God's spirit animating them. Let them take ground for God's glory. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, be glorified in this house. Be glorified in this house. Oh, God, we ask it in your precious name. Come, come, Holy Spirit. Give us the power to tie these foxes up and set them on fire. Give us the power to burn down the devil's harvest. God, do it now. God, do it now. In Jesus mighty name. Hallelujah. Simple prayer. Lord Jesus, I come here today to make a declaration. As David did, I say to you, Lord, God is good. His mercy endures forever. Lord, I choose to worship you. I lay down all complaint. I choose to trust you. You have me where I am for a divine purpose. Your ways are not my ways. They are higher than my ways. And I am learning to trust you in all things. And even if I never know all of the reasons, I will sing of your power. I will sing of your mercy. I will sing of the new strength that you will give to me every morning and every night. And you tell me there is a reward for the righteous. You tell me that you will surround me with righteous friends, friends who have the same song. They have the same voice, the same faith, the same confidence. And you say that through us, you will be mighty and do exploits that glorify your name. So Lord, I choose even now to lift my voice and raise my hands and give you glory and give you praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We give you praise. We give you glory. We give you honor. Mighty God. Mighty God. Mighty God. Mighty God. Merciful God. All powerful Savior. Hallelujah. Lamb of God, we love you. We love you, Lord. We love you. We trust you, God. Hallelujah. You are welcome here. You are welcome here. You are welcome in our hearts. You are welcome in our homes. You are welcome in our lives. Oh, give God glory. Give him praise. Give him praise. Hallelujah.
