Sermon Summary
Phil Beach Jr. emphasizes the critical nature of walking in agreement with God, highlighting that there is a spiritual war against this unity. He draws from the book of Amos to illustrate how God desires an intimate relationship with His people, yet many fail to align with His will, leading to judgment and disharmony. The preacher challenges listeners to examine who they are in agreement with, stressing that true Christianity involves a commitment to God's purpose rather than personal desires. He warns that the enemy seeks to disrupt this agreement, urging believers to actively pursue a life that reflects God's will. Ultimately, Beach calls for a heartfelt dedication to align with God, emphasizing the importance of prayer and obedience in this pursuit.

to experience that. For a short time, I want to deliver a message that I feel is very, very appropriate for us, particularly for us to understand. There is a war going on, and this war is being waged against many different things. In particular, we want to look this morning into the scriptures and discover, which is the title of this morning's message, the war against agreement with God. The war against agreement with God. As a text that we're going to use, I want to invite you to go to your Old Testament, the book of Amos. Amos is after Joel, and it's right before Obadiah. I know that might be helpful to some of you, and to some of you it might not be, but it's in the Old Testament, and we're looking at the third chapter, the war against agreement with God. Listen closely before I read the text. If you would, listen very carefully. I want to make a statement. Everybody listen. Right at this present time, you are walking in agreement with somebody. Now, the question that I want answered in your mind this morning is who are you in agreement with this morning? Who are you walking in agreement with? Because the answer to that question has eternal consequences. Amos chapter three, beginning in verse one. Hear this word that the Lord hath spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family, which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying, you only have I known of all the families of the earth. Therefore, I will punish you for all your iniquities. Can two walk together except they be agreed? Can two walk together except they be agreed? That word agreed in the Hebrew can be translated to be in harmony with. A fixed appointment is another translation. To be together with. The idea of this word is that two parties are walking in harmony one with another. There's no division, there's no discord, there's no disharmony. So God here is speaking to the children of Israel in context, and here's the heart of God regarding this particular portion of Scripture. Hear what I have to say to you, Israel. You are a family, you are my family that I brought out of the land of Egypt. God raised up Moses, if you remember the story, and Moses was used by God to deliver Israel out of the land of bondage. And God is saying here in verse two, and this is profound if we can capture the heart of God. God is speaking with grief and sorrow now. He's saying, you only have I known of all the families of the earth. Now that word known there, you only have I known. That word known is not a casual superficial acquaintance. You know, like, oh yeah, I know the gas station attendant. Yeah, I know him, yeah, I talk to him once in a while. Or yeah, I know the cashier at the supermarket. Sure, we chat once in a while. God isn't saying that I knew or know you in that capacity. That's a superficial surface relationship. God is saying, you only have I known of all the families of the earth. In other words, God's saying, Israel, listen to me. Of all the people in the world, to you alone have I made myself intimately known to you. I have revealed my heart. I have revealed my love to you. I have manifested my name. I raised up prophets to speak to you. God is saying, I have given a part of myself to you that I have not given to any other group of people in the world. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood. You are a special people. You are blessed. And the problem, the grief that was in the heart of God regarding the nation of Israel was even though he had revealed himself to them in a very intimate way, they were not in agreement with him. And it was because of this that God had no other choice but to judge them and to punish them. Can two walk together except they be agreed? Listen carefully. The purpose and intention of God in revealing himself to the nation of Israel was not so that they could walk around and boast to all the other nations of the world, hey, we have a special in with God. Hey, you know, God performs miracles for us. Hey, you know, God takes care of us supernaturally. Hey, we hear the voice of God. It wasn't so they can brag on God or boast about God or feel that they were better than other people. The intention of God in revealing himself to the nation of Israel was captured in this verse three. God longs for a people to walk in agreement with him. The purpose of your existence today, listen carefully please. The purpose of your existence today as a Christian, born again Christian indwelt by the Holy Spirit is that you might walk in harmony and in agreement with the will of God all the days of your life. If becoming a Christian fails to produce in you a passion and a desire and an ongoing desire to know and do the will of God and to be in harmony with God, then you have become misguided in your understanding of why you're a Christian. You see, being a Christian is not simply to bear the name Christian or to simply be engaged in religious activities like going to church or paying your tithes or singing songs. The passion of God this morning is for you as an individual child of God to come into an agreement with God. Understanding his will, understanding his plan, understanding the things that please him and the things that don't please him and lining yourself up in harmony with those things that are pleasing to him and setting yourself aside from those things that are displeasing to him. God is saying, how can we walk together? How can you and God walk together unless you are in agreement? Now, Jesus said in the book of Matthew, a house divided against itself can not stand. Now, we see that in the world today. Families are being destroyed, why? Because they're divided. You cannot have a family unless you maintain unity. A husband and wife, they can't walk together except they remain undivided. What is the pledge of allegiance that we give to the flag? One country, indivisible. You see, the founding fathers knew that if the country didn't remain in unity, striving after the same goals, then they would become divided and therefore, they couldn't stand as a nation. That's what we're seeing today, aren't we? A divided nation. We're seeing divided families. We're seeing husbands and wives divorcing because they can't live together. I recently saw a young lady who got married many, many years ago from the Justice of the Peace and then asked me to perform a ceremony, a church ceremony. I didn't marry them legally. They had already been married, so I agreed to it. Well, I just saw her a few days ago and I said, how's your husband? She looked at me and said, I've been divorced from him for six years. I said, you have? She said, oh yeah, we're friends. I just can't live with the guy. I said, you can't? He said, she said, no, and here's the profound thing, and it was during this time God was ministering this message to me. She said, oh, he's a nice guy. I just can't live with him. We can't agree on anything. And because they couldn't agree on anything, they had to divorce. The war against agreeing with God. One of the most bitter experiences that we can go through is when we are in a setting where there's several people involved, whether it's a family, whether it's the workplace, whether it's a baseball team, whether it's a soccer team, whether you're just a bunch of folks wanting to go out and have a good time. One of the most bitter things you can experience, or rather I'll reword it, one of the most bitter human experiences is the bitter experience of disharmony. Disharmony can hurt, can leave wounds. How many have ever experienced disharmony with somebody? How many have ever become hurt because of disharmony in some way? Disharmony hurts. So it is quite clear from our text here that God's intention is that we would walk in agreement with Him. And now the statement that I want to make this morning is to show you from the Scriptures how all the powers of darkness are arrayed against you as a child of God. All the powers of hell are arrayed against you as a child of God in order to prevent you from walking in agreement with God Almighty. Even though you might be a Christian, even though you might have the Holy Spirit, even though you might gather yourselves together with other Christians, your effectiveness as a Christian will be nearly rendered inoperative if in fact Satan can keep you out of harmony with God's will and God's Word. And he is succeeding in a most disturbing manner in accomplishing this goal. We must see the focus of attack against our lives as individuals and against our lives as a church. Are you walking in agreement with God? Are you walking in obedience to God's Word? Are you engaging in a relationship with God where you are walking together and your house is not divided and there is one boss and one rule maker and he's the one that says, this is the way, walking in it, and you're saying, yes, Lord, whatever you want, I will do. Are you saying that today? Are you in agreement with God? Has your heart been stirred and touched to recognize that without being in agreement with God, your life, as Michael said, will become a saltless life, good for nothing, but to be trodden over by men. The reason why the church is very ineffective in this society today is because we are not living in agreement with God. We are not walking in obedience to God's Word. We are not acknowledging that he is the boss man, that he is the one that calls the punches, that he's the one that says, this is right and this is wrong, and instead, we are walking in agreement with the God of this world, who is the devil. You are either walking in agreement with God or you're walking in agreement with the devil. And let me say this, if you're doing your own thing, you might think that you're doing your own thing, but in reality, you're doing the devil's thing. And if you are a Christian doing your own thing, you are in danger of being taken captive by that very thing, and thereby missing God's full intention for your life, risking, risking being brought into a bondage and into a captivity that will bring misery and sorrow to your life. This issue of walking in agreement with God is of grave, grave importance in this hour that we live in. A rhetorical question I wanna ask you now. Who do you think you are in agreement with this morning? 1 John 3, verse number eight, the latter part of the verse. Listen closely. For this purpose was the Son of God manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. Jesus Christ, the blessed Son of God, knew the purpose for which He existed as a man. 1 John chapter three, verse number eight. Listen closely. This is a very important issue. Listen. Jesus knew the purpose of His existence. He knew that He was born to destroy the works of the devil. He knew that the reason why He existed was because He was destined to become a sacrifice for sin. There was no question in the mind of Jesus regarding the reason why He was living. But I'll tell you, beloved, there is a lot of confusion in the church today, and there is a lot of misunderstanding as to why we are called to be Christians. And unless we settle this issue once and for all, we will remain tossed to and fro, and we will remain ineffective as far as God getting a good witness out of our lives. Jesus knew His purpose. Do you know your purpose today? John chapter 17. Listen closely. John chapter 17, verse number 20 and 21. These are the very words of Jesus that are being uttered to His Father. This is called the high priestly prayer. These are the words that Jesus prayed for you and I. In these words, we find God's intention for our lives. And I wanna show you from the word of God this morning that we need to capture this truth and make it a part of our life. You do not exist for your own purpose. You do not exist for your own pleasure. You don't exist to do your own thing. You don't exist to walk your own walk and to talk your own talk. You don't exist to simply make your plans and decide you're gonna do this and you're gonna do that and you're gonna do this and you're gonna do that. That is not the purpose of the church. The purpose of the church exceeds that superficial kind of life. And Jesus captures the purpose of the church here. Verse number 20. John chapter 17. Neither pray I for these alone, referring to the actual 12 disciples or 11, but for them also which shall believe on them through their word. You and I have believed on Jesus through the words of the apostles. So this prayer is specifically geared towards you and I. Listen to what Jesus said. That they all may be one. As thou, Father, art in me and I in thee, that they also may be one in us, that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Can you see this morning the magnitude of this prayer? The implication of this prayer? This prayer identifies the heart of God. It shows us what God is after. That we might be one with God even like Jesus was one with his Father. Now in what way was Jesus one with the Father? We mentioned it earlier. He knew the purpose of why he existed, why he was born, and his whole life was governed, his whole life was controlled by a passion to live in perfect agreement with his Father, in perfect harmony with the will of the Father. Jesus said, I have not come to do my own will, but the will of him that has sent me. In the garden of Gethsemane, while sweating drops of blood, wrestling with the thought of becoming a sin atonement, he prayed, Father, if it's possible for this cup to pass from me, I would like you to do that. Nevertheless, not my will, but thy will be done. Jesus constantly demonstrated a life that was in agreement with God. And he demonstrated that life in order to teach you and I the kind of life that God wants us to live by the power of the Holy Spirit. Who is your master today? Who are you serving? Whose will are you seeking to fulfill today? There is a movement in the world today seeking to create unity, seeking to create oneness, but it is not a unity and a oneness focused around the will of God, but it is a unity and a oneness focused around the will of the people, the will of the person. It is a subtle, deceptive, satanic movement in the world today in order to gather the multitudes together and create a unity within in order to accomplish their heart's desire. Not God's desire, not the desire of the Lord, but their desire. Let me show you in the Old Testament where we see a picture of this happening. Genesis chapter 11. Genesis chapter 11. Check this out. Now, you remember we opened up by saying the message was entitled the war, rather the holy war against agreement with God, walking in agreement with God. There is a war being waged against your life today, right now. The devil is trying to get you out of agreement with God, out of agreement with his will. The devil is trying to divide your heart. He's trying to divide your heart. Now, look at this false unity in Genesis chapter 11. And the whole earth was of one language and of one speech. Now, that looks like a unity, doesn't it? One language, one speech. That looks like a definite agreement. And it is. But the problem with this whole unity and this whole agreement in Genesis chapter 11, it was a unity and agreement that revolved around the will of the people, not the will of God. It was an attempt by man to unify himself with himself and accomplish the things in his heart apart from the consideration of what does God want. And I submit to you this morning that there is a spirit of hell working within the church today, seducing people into this same kind of unity. They are trying to get together. They're trying to have unity. They're trying to create one mind and one heart. But the intention, if you rip the veneer and you go to the very depths of what's going on, the intention of this unity is not a heart cry for God's will to be done, but it is an attempt to create unity so that man's will can be done. Our will can be done. Our plans can fulfill. Our desires can be fulfilled. We want unity. You hear it from the pulpits. Preachers are preaching on unity. We need to be of one heart and of one mind. But you know, you get to the depths of it, and it's really not a cry to be in unity with God so that we can walk with God, but it's getting unity with us so we can accomplish the desires of our heart. So the whole issue is, if you're seeking unity, why are you seeking it? Whose will do you want to accomplish? Verse number three, and they said one to another, go, let us make brick and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone and slime they had for mortar. Listen to what they said. And they said, let us build us a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven. And let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. False unity is characterized by a passion to make ourself a name. False unity is characterized by a desire to unify the forces in order that we might accomplish our desires, that we might do our thing. I tell you, beloved, the church of Jesus Christ must be delivered from this false unity. We must be delivered from this drive. It's in the world, isn't it? How many people do you know in the world who have a desire to please God? I mean, they just wake up saying, oh God, what is your will today? I want to know your will. Do you know people in the world like that? No. People in the world are obsessed with whose will? Their own. They're obsessed with doing their own thing. But you know, I can almost accept that because that's what the world is. They don't know any better. Jesus didn't come to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. But let's go back to the original cry in Amos. What did God say to Israel? I reveal myself to you. To no other people did I reveal myself. They are ignorant. They don't know better. But you, oh Israel, you, oh people of God, you, church, called by his name, you who claim to be a Christian, you know better. So I can understand where God can be tolerant when the world does their own thing, but what can God do when we who are called by his name are seeking our own life, our own will, our own way, and not understanding that we must walk in agreement with God? Beloved, there is a war going on. Who are you walking in agreement with today? You got unity, things are flowing. You know how sometimes people say things are flowing really good. Everything's just working out for me. I just seem to be going to the right place at the right time, and I seem to be meeting the right people. Everything seems to be working out good. You ever meet someone like that? That don't mean a thing. Because the question you need to ask, everything working good? Everything working out? Everything you touch working? Well, what's the end result? Is God's will being accomplished? Is Christ being exalted? Or are you finding yourself able to accomplish your own thing? Someone like Michael Jackson could say that, couldn't he? Everything just seems to work out. Everything I touch turns to gold. All the right doors, right? I mean, all the right doors. Here a young guy in the Jackson Five, back in the seventies, and now look at him. It just worked out for him, didn't it? It just seemed like everything he did worked out. But what's the end result? There is a unity, there is an agreement that you can have in your life, and your plans can work out, but it might not be the agreement with God. And the way you test it is you look at what's happening, and you ask yourself, is God's will being done? Am I being drawn closer to Christ? Is God being glorified? Is my will in agreement with God's will? If not, then don't be too confident and too happy in this superficial agreement, this superficial working out of things. Because to be in agreement with God means that God is having His way in our life. Now let's turn to Proverbs chapter three. Proverbs chapter three. You ask the question, I see in the Word now, I see in the Word that God wants His people or God wants me to be in agreement with Himself. But where do I start? How does this happen? How do I get in agreement with God? Here's how, Proverbs chapter three. Proverbs chapter three. I cannot emphasize enough this morning, beloved, the war against aligning your life up with God. The moment you decide in your heart, I am going to make it my goal to walk in agreement with God. I'm going to make it my goal to seek God and to know His will and to line my life up with it. The moment you do that, all hell is gonna break out against you. Because hell doesn't want you to walk in agreement with God. Hell wants you to do your own thing. But this is where it starts. Proverbs chapter three. My son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments. For length of days and long life and peace shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee. Bind them about thy neck. Write them upon the table of thine heart. So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean. That word lean means to rest, to support yourself. Don't support yourself. Don't lean upon, don't rest upon your own understanding. But in all your ways, acknowledge God and He will direct your path. So the beginning of the church and individually speaking, the beginning of your life and my life, getting into agreement with God is that we start with a heart matter. Verse number one. My son, forget not my law, but let your heart keep my commandments. The beginning of lining ourself up with God's will and God's word so that we are in agreement with Him is a work of grace in our heart, inclining our heart to God's word. Listen, if you in your heart don't have a desire to know God's word and to study God's word and to learn of God's will, you will not walk in agreement with God. It's as simple as that. You might have a desire to walk in agreement with God, but unless the heart keeps God's commandments, you will not be in agreement with God. So the beginning of walking in agreement with God is to pray, oh God, change my heart. Give me a desire in my heart of hearts to know you and to know your word. The second step in walking in agreement with God is verse number five. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. We must come to the place where we are allowing God and His word to govern our life and not our own understanding and our own judgment. We must be brought to the place where we are constantly bringing our plans and our desires to God and submitting them to Him and allowing Him the sovereign right to change them if they're not according to His will, to redirect them if they're not according to His perfect plan. We must not hold too tightly to the things that we want to do. Let go and let God. Take the things that you feel you want, submit them to God and say, Lord, this is what I'm looking for. This is what I'm striving after, but if it's not what you want, block it. Stop it or change it. Now, how many are doing that on a regular basis? Hallelujah to God. That's how we do it. That's how we walk in agreement with God. Lean not unto the Lord. Lean not unto your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. The third step in walking in agreement with God is simply this. Don't be wise in your own understanding. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. Run from evil. Don't dabble with what is wrong. Don't dabble with sin. If you see there's a sin in your life or you see you're being tempted to sin, cry out to God. Ask Him to deliver you. Ask Him for the power to say no to sin. So number one, a heart inclined to God's Word. A heart that seeks, diligently seeks, to know God's heart through the Word and through prayer. Number two, a willingness to trust in God and not our own understanding. And number three, departing from all evil. How shall two walk together except they be agreed? Beloved, will you make it an issue of serious prayer in the next few moments? To ask yourself this question, listen closely. Have I settled this issue in my life? Have I settled this issue in my life? Will I seek continuously to walk in agreement with God? And if so, am I willing to pay the price to do it? It doesn't just happen through osmosis. It happens through a heart that is diligent. Jesus said, ask and keep asking. Seek and keep seeking. Knock and keep knocking. James said, the effectual, fervent, energetic prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Jesus taught that we are to pray without fainting and to keep praying day and night. Are you willing to come to God and say, Lord, I want you to deliver me from a lazy heart, a passive heart. I want you to deliver me from coasting. And I want you to give me a diligent spirit, an earnest spirit, a spirit of perseverance that I might take hold of this issue of walking in agreement with you and apply my heart to your word and apply my heart to prayer and apply my thoughts to you, Lord, so that you are controlling my life. It can't be a passive race. Listen, you don't run the race and win casually, do you? You ever watch the New York Marathon or the Boston Marathon on TV or any other marathon? Did you ever see the one in front running with a smile on his face showing off? Ha, ha, ha, boy, is this easy. My, my, my, look at those guys way back there. I think I'll do the backtrack here. Oh, look at this, I'm hopping on one foot. No, the marathon winner, the New York Marathon winner or the Boston Marathon or the UK Marathon, those guys who win, win because they're straining with every muscle in their body to go forward when they don't want to run anymore, they keep running. You know, one of the incredible things that happen when you're running long distances is that sometime during the run, your body just turns off. Everything in you becomes like cement. I've experienced it a little bit. Now, I've never run a marathon, but I've run up to 15 miles. And after about 11 or 12 miles, my legs felt like concrete pillars. My arms felt like they were suddenly freezing. And you have to make a decision. I'm going to keep running even though everything in me wants to stop. That's the way it is in the Christian life. And I'll tell you by the Spirit of God, the reason why the church isn't getting anywhere is because they've succumbed to their feelings. They don't feel like praying anymore, so they don't. They don't feel like reading the Word anymore, so they don't. They don't feel like gathering together, so they don't. They don't feel like being diligent, so they don't. If you're in this race to win, and Paul said in the book of Hebrews, let us run patiently the race that is set before us. If you're in this race to win, you have got to pray that God will deliver you from a lazy heart. You're not going to be an overcomer sitting in front of the TV watching it all day long, coasting into the night, going to bed at night with your mind on the TV program. You're not going to be an overcomer like that. The Bible doesn't teach that. You're not going to make it like that. You can't coast. The bride is going to be an elect woman, a group of saints who have a passion for her lover. Do you have a passion for Jesus? Do you go to bed at night thinking about Him? Do you wake up in the morning thinking about Him? Brother Phil, you're getting a little hyper-spiritual now, aren't you? Don't you think that's extreme? Well, let me ask you a question. If you were married to somebody, would you want them to give you half of their devotion? Come on, think about this. Come on. Just imagine yourself getting hooked tomorrow, married. Or you who are married, just imagine this. Your husband or wife comes to you and says, hi, sweetie, I'm going out tonight with another chick. Now listen, listen now. I do love you. You know it. We're tight, right? Cool. But I'm going out with a hot date tonight, honey. Now don't worry, I'll be home tomorrow sometime. And hey, if you want, bring her over next week. We can all get together. Sounds ludicrous, doesn't it? Come on, come on. Let's think this thing through. Don't tell me this is extreme. None of you would want a relationship like that. And if you did, you were perverted. You lost the meaning of what true love is. True love is dedication. If I'm married to someone, they don't go out with someone else on their life. My wife should live to please me. She should dress to please me. She shouldn't dress to please Tom and Bill and Harry down the street. She shouldn't dress so that other people say, wow, she's pretty. No, she should dress so that when she comes before me, I say, sweetheart, you are beautiful. And she says, oh, I'm glad I'm making you happy. She's my wife. She's not your wife. Come on, let's think these things through. But yet, we get up and we hear a preacher say, God wants you to be totally dedicated to him. He wants you to go to bed at night thinking of him. He wants you to get up thinking of him. He wants you to have your mind on him all day. And people say, oh, preacher, you're too extreme. You're too spiritual. What do you mean? You think God's going to settle for anything less? He's not. He's not. He wants a total commitment. He wants an undivided heart that walks in agreement with him. Are you prepared today to pray that prayer? God, give me that hour. I'm going to ask my wife that does dress for me. And she does seek to please her husband. And I'm glad for that. I'm going to ask if she'll come and play an appropriate song. Norman can come. And I feel the presence of God very strongly in my own spirit. I believe this is a message from God's heart. And I believe that God has spoken to everyone, hasn't he? Has he challenged you today? He's challenged me. And the question you must ask is this, God, will you give me a heart of agreement with you today at any cost? That might mean walking away from some of your plans and some of your joys and some of your goals. But if you let them go, what will God give you? Himself. And I don't know what else I would rather have than God himself. Amen. You commit your heart to him. Trust God to lead you. Hey, when was the last time you looked up in the heavens and saw everything out of control? Everything runs, doesn't it? You know, they can predict when the sun rises. Everything is in control. Don't you want to cast your life upon the one who can control the universe? Don't hold on. Let go and let God. Father, I thank you for your word. I thank you for challenging us this morning. And I pray today that everyone who has heard this will come to a crisis and make the decision. Lord, that we will come to where we say, Lord, I want to walk in agreement with you. I want to do your will, not my will. I want to please you, not myself or other people. Holy Spirit, do this in the hearers today. For your honor and glory, I stand against the powers of deception and darkness that have blinded us in this area and pray that they would be released and that the Holy Spirit would heal us and restore us. In Jesus' name, as we sing this song, may God do it. Heart, oh God, make it ever true. Heart, oh God, I'd be like you. You are the doctor I am. Hold me and make me. This is what I pray. Change my heart, oh God. Change my heart, oh God. May I be like you. You are the doctor. I am the clear. Hold me and make me. Make me the good, the right, and the right. If you have to go, that's understood. Please feel free at any time. But if you would like to stay, I want to have a special prayer. I want to ask my daughter, Christina. I want to ask Liz if she would. Don't feel embarrassed or anything. You're not going to have to say anything. I want to pray for these two girls. They're young. God's hand is upon their life. And this is a very important message for these kids to get a hold of at this age, to walk in agreement. So I'm going to ask Christina and Liz if they would join together and come up here. And after I pray for them, I want to invite anybody who wants to rededicate your life to Jesus Christ. But what you want is that you want to rededicate your life to Christ by saying to him, Lord Jesus, I am now committing myself by the power of your spirit to walk in agreement to you. I don't want to be in agreement with my own desires or the world or my friends. I don't want to do what my friends want me to do. I want to do what you want me to do. You make that decision, and the Holy Ghost confirm it, and you are going to be a blessed person all your life. Amen? Anybody who wants to pray that prayer with me, after I pray for these girls, you're welcome to come. Let's sing the song again. Hallelujah. Father, I thank you, and I praise you for Liz and Christine. I thank you for the friendship that they have, Lord. I thank you, Lord, that you brought each of these two girls into one another's lives. This is you, Lord. They didn't plan it. I didn't plan it. But I know, Lord, that the major reason why you did this, they've had fun. They're having good times, and all that's good. But the major reason why you did this is because you want them to encourage and strengthen one another, that they both might have hearts that are wholly dedicated to you. Lord, I pray for Liz and Christina now that by the power of the Holy Spirit you will give them the power to say to one another and to you, we are going to live our life and seek to be in agreement with God's will. We're not going to do what our friends want us to do. We're not going to do what we want to do. We're going to lay our lives down and say, Lord, have your way in our way. Lord, I pray in Jesus' name I dedicate these two girls to you and pray that you'll take them, Lord, and receive them and lead them. Thank you for Liz, Lord. Thank you that she's in our life where we love her. And I thank you, Lord, for your hand upon her life. Do this work in her, Lord. In Jesus' name, I dedicate her to you. And Christina, you know the hand that's on her life, Lord. In Jesus' name. Thank you, Lord. Liz, God's hand is upon your life. You've sensed his presence. You've known his love. You've experienced his grace. And I believe that if God would say something to you today, Liz, if you could know what God is saying, he would say this to you. I love you with an everlasting love. I will never fail you. I will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid to trust me with all your heart. I have a plan for your life, a beautiful plan. Trust me to fulfill it. This plan will come about as you simply seek me with all your heart and love me. I, the Lord himself, will fulfill his plan in your life, a lovely plan. God says to you, Liz, let me choose your way. I know best. I love you with an everlasting love. Father, thank you for the power of the Spirit. Confirm your word in Jesus' name. Amen. I'm all wet. I'm all wet.
