Sermon Summary
Chuck Smith emphasizes the significance of Zechariah 12:1, highlighting that while Zechariah is often credited as the author, he merely served as a secretary for God's prophetic word. The sermon outlines the accuracy of prophecies regarding Christ's first coming, including His betrayal and death, and draws a parallel to the certainty of prophecies concerning His second coming. Smith asserts that just as the first coming was fulfilled with precision, so too will the promises of Christ's return and the regathering of Israel be realized. He encourages believers to trust in the divine authorship of Scripture, which speaks with clarity about future events.
