Sermon Summary
Andrew Murray emphasizes the promise of the Holy Spirit in His Pentecostal power, which aims to align the life of the church and each believer with the will of the Father and the work of the Son. The Holy Spirit dwells within us to glorify Christ and empower us to live for God's glory and the salvation of humanity. By surrendering to the Spirit and seeking God's guidance, believers can receive the strength and zeal necessary to share God's love with the world. This divine empowerment is essential for fulfilling the mission of the church and individual believers.

The Promise of the Holy Spirit in His Pentecostal Power…
The promise of the Holy Spirit in his pentecostal fullness of power comes for the one purpose of bringing the life of the church as a whole, and each believer, into harmony with the will of the Father and the work of the son, so that they only live for what God and Christ live for, the glory of God in the salvation of men and women. The eternal Spirit, through whom Christ gave himself a sacrifice to God for all, is the Spirit who now dwells in us. He has come to glorify Christ, to carry on his work of glorifying the Father in and through us. The Spirit is come to fill us with the love and zeal and strength that will make us live and die that every creature may know the love of God. As we give ourselves to this and wait at God’s feet for his orders, the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon us. (Excerpted from The Coming Revival, by Andrew Murray , pg. 50)
