Because the word is hidden in your heart, but it's those things that you that you've lusted after that you've desired With no real eternal significance with no real eternal benefit for God or for the people of God How big is your pile gonna be the pile of stuff that you got because God's word was in your heart And you asked him and the pile of stuff that you got because God's word was not in your heart the way it should be What do you think What kind of pile are you gonna have you have a pile that's fireproof You have a pile that's gonna be like hey and one spark From the mouth of God one spark and it's gonna She's gonna go up in smoke It's gonna go up in smoke These things first first John chapter 5 verse 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God That you may know that you have eternal life and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God And this is the confidence That word means audacious bluntness Audacious boldness Lot of bold people in the world, huh a lot of audacious people in the world Some people are so bold that nothing brings shame to their heart They can engage in the grossest immorality and it doesn't bother them They can engage in the most fierce trickery and financial deception and they glory in it They don't care Audacious They can cheat they can lie They can convince themselves that uncle Sam I Won't go there Beloved The spirit of God wants to work in us a heart of purity where we realize God knows So there's all kinds of confidence in the world, isn't there Boldness, but look at the kind of boldness here the scripture speak of and this is the boldness that we have in him God is looking for bold people Not bold people that demonstrate their arrogance Not bold people that walk around with no shame thinking their deity Thinking they can do what they want thinking that they're not accountable to any authority Thinking that they don't have to answer to anyone that they can do what they want And if it means stepping on somebody they can step on somebody if it means punching somebody to get ahead They'll punch someone to get ahead. Isn't that the way it is in the workplace Joel, isn't it? They don't really care about you If they want something and you're in the way brother They're gonna smile, but they're gonna stab you. They're gonna get you out of the way Isn't that the way it is where you've been in the workplace, you know? That's boldness that's audaciousness I used to I I used to be In God I remember sitting in my little office and I'd watch one of the one of the employees who was under my supervisor go into his office and they talk for 20 minutes and They come out and no sooner they walk five steps and they slander my boss and they curse my boss And then the boss would come out and they turn I'll say hi How you doing? I was just leaving I Just there's a golly gee And just curse that man and now that he comes walking out there all smiles brother. That's hypocrisy That's duplicity These things ought not to be among Christians. We shouldn't be able to slander somebody and then go up and hug them This is ridiculous. This grieves the Spirit of God We Shouldn't have this inside of us and if it's there we should pray Oh God change me have mercy upon me So there's a confidence that the world has and I tell you beloved it's an arrogant confidence And I want to say thank you real quickly to all the children because you are being very good I'm watching you and you're sitting and you're listening and that's good because God's Word will get into your heart That's children and it'll affect you Yeah, I pray that we'll pray God give me this kind of boldness give me this boldness with you God the kind of boldness that I'm about to read about I'm sick and tired of people going around looking in order to make money for themselves in order to succeed for themselves and they have boldness and they have audacity and they have Focus and they have determination some people will at the expense of their families at the expense of anything They're gonna follow after what they want And I say to you beloved you need to pray that God will give you that kind of Determination and that kind of focus for the kingdom of God. You need to become a giant for God. You need to pray God I want a single heart. I want to be delivered for myself. I want a hunger after your word I wanna know your word God. I can't live for myself anymore. There's nothing in this world that satisfies me God Lord, make me make me. Oh God a Hunger after you or else I'll die Lord This is what we need. We need something that is beyond the ordinary in this hour that we live in We're in the days of the apostasy brothers and sisters. There is a falling away Men and women are cursing God Men and women are engaging in all kinds of viral activities brothers and sisters We need to be shining bright for Jesus It is no time today to be wandering around doing our own thing Floating with the world being a half-hearted Christian This is a clarion call from God to walk before the Lord and be perfect before him This is a day when God is searching for men and women who will be wholly committed to him wholly committed to his cause This is a call Brothers and sisters God will not withhold anything from you if you get his word in your heart And if you let the Holy Ghost wrestle you down and overcome you If you let the Holy Ghost like he did with Jacob if you get to the point where you are like Jacob and say I'm not gonna let you go God until you bless me until you change me And if you get to the place where you are so determined for God to change you God is going to say what's your name? Just like he did to Jacob. You're gonna have to confess your name Jacob means your planter Jacob means deceiver Jacob means a cunning crafty Manipulator, that's what Jacob was and before God could change his name from Jacob to Israel Jacob had to confess his name to God and if likewise if we really get in If we really get into the scriptures, and we really let the Holy Ghost get a hold of us It's going to necessitate that we're gonna have to start confessing our name when God says love is patient and kind We're gonna have to come to God and say I'm unkind and impatient You're gonna have to confess who you are before you get the good of God's Word working in you You're not gonna know the patience of God and the kindness of God Working in your life until you come to God and say God. I am the most impatient person living Well, I can't love my wife. I can't love my husband. I can't love my children Lord I am a mess. I've made a mess Lord have mercy on me Confess my sin before you God will not withhold from you Anything that you ask if you allow him to develop that kind of a hard attitude in you He'll withhold nothing from you. I mean there is nothing you can dream You can have visions and if your dreams and visions are coming out of a heart that's filled with the Word of God God will give you your dreams and your visions because they will have your name written on them They'll have the glory of God on them. Oh how God wants an Elijah to arise So many times Christians are saying where is the God of Elijah? And you know what God's saying? Where's the Elijah of God? The God of Elijah is still alive. He's just waiting for an Elijah to call on his name He's just waiting for somebody a Corporate vessel of people To believe his word to let the word cut them To let the word Expose the intentions and thoughts of their heart. Let the Word of God show you you're all wrong Let it show you you're all wrong Let it show you Don't be afraid Don't fear the light of God's Word exposing you for what you are Don't be afraid Rejoice your salvation is not based on your righteousness Your salvation is not based on your goodness. Let it be that God's Word shows you that you're just a Jacob You're just a Jacob You're just a deceiver You're impatient You're in it for yourself Let the Word of God show you this. Why are you afraid? Why do you why do you not allow God to show you that you are? You are terrible in this area of your life. What are you afraid of? God already knows You're not hiding anything from him you don't need to be afraid God's love for you isn't conditional. It's not based on your holiness It's based on the impartation of the righteousness of Jesus Christ to you. Amen, Joel But we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus Therefore being justified by what? By faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. I am free to let the word expose me in the Old Testament Oh, I was a mess because the word said thou shalt not covet and I coveted and I said Oh God I'm slain the world has exposed my sin. My sin has come alive and it's killed me God What am I gonna do? So I did all these sacrifices and I did all these offerings and I tried to cover my sin, but now hallelujah to God Hallelujah, I can come to God now and say Lord. You are my righteousness. I see your word has exposed me But I know that my Redeemer liveth I Know my Redeemer liveth Rebecca. I need a drink verse 13 Verse 14 and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will He hears us Beloved God wants the bold people who will start asking according to his will who will start coming before him And asking according to his will This is the confidence that we have that if we ask according to his will he hears us and we know That he hears us, you know, it says and if we know that he hears us Whatsoever we ask Whatsoever we ask The only limit on Whatsoever there the only limit is The will of God, that's it. There is no limit. Now. Let me ask you. What is God's will? God is not willing that any should perish but that it all should come to him Now beloved this comes from the Lord and I trust that you won't allow the enemy to come condemn you, but you'll be challenged When was the last time you pray Oh God, oh God I am asking you to give me the opportunity Every single day to tell two people every day about your saving grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ Because I just can't bear the thought of knowing that there are people who are dying and they're going to a Christless Eternity when was the last time you grabbed the whole of God and said God I'm claiming your word Anything you ask Lord, I believe it's your will that you would let me talk to two people You know what God would do if you did that and you meant it He'd give you two people every day and then you know what would happen after about a month He would start challenging you Norman and he would say believe me for three now Believe me for four now believe me for five. Can you believe me for ten? You see the limit we put on God God is willing to give us a hundred people a day if we would believe him And if we would trust that he would be able to do it, but you say well, I can't do that There you go, according to your faith. I could never do that fine So be it, but I don't want this gonna say know what if you want to give me a hundred Let's do it These are appetites getting wet. I Hope so This is the confidence that we have If we ask anything according to his will he hears us and and if we know that he hears us Whatsoever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him do you believe? Open door set before us this morning When we were in Mississippi all that All that to put a little history behind this thing of asking God Asking God the more word you get in your heart The more word gets a part of you the more you allow the world to govern you to master you the more you allow The world to to be your Lord where you bow down before it and you say Lord This area of my life is not in accordance with your word. I confess it I'm gonna pray over it Lord. I'm not gonna let you go Until you change me You know why a lot of times we have besetting sins that last for 10 years because for 10 years we just let them go We just let them hang in our life We might mention occasionally. Oh, I just don't like this we give the crocodile tears Oh, I wish you'd deliver me from this Then the next day we're just off and running If we ever really got serious with God and we pray and we even maybe fasted Maybe skip a meal or two That's the Lord This is not pleasing in your eyes This this Lord is hurting you and it's hurting the members in the body of Christ Because you can't go out and sin and not have it affect me You know the story of Aachen the whole nation got in trouble because of Aachen sin You see so there's a history that has to come into our life Before we can just boldly come to God and ask him anything we want Now God will meet your needs whether the world's in you or not He met Israel for 40 years, but they didn't please him and there and and and they died in the wilderness See, there's a provision that will be there in spite of you God will take care of you if You're one of his he promises to But we're talking about a relationship here where you could be a prince with God Will you have your eyes set on Bridehood you have your eyes set on reigning and ruling with Christ You have your eyes set on my father is a big God and he's got a big plan And I'm gonna ask him to fulfill the things that please his heart on this earth There's a place in God where you can come where you can start interceding like Elijah did like Jeremiah did So We went in Mississippi the Lord spoke to my heart and he said listen He said you tell Colette that I'm gonna I'm gonna provide you with a house a home 16 years No home Was the Lord's thought the Lord's way just to show you just to show you now the power of prayer but the prayer That is burst out of the word see we didn't want a house we didn't care about a home We don't care about anything But the Lord and his will Don't care Let me tell you God will take if you let him God will take Everything precious in your life and one at a time demand that you put it on the altar and give it up I'm not saying you're gonna have to give it up permanently But you're gonna have to give it up like Abraham gave up Isaac See when we get into relationship with God and we get into the Word of God and we start seeing what God's heart is We're gonna discover God is a jealous God And he doesn't want any gods before him He doesn't want anything in our heart that we've got our hands on so tightly that if God said let go we say no Let go no. It's mine. God says what it's mine. God says excuse me. It's mine God says you You need a little bit of godly instruction You say it's mine when God talks to you don't you say mine don't ever come to God like that You come to God father yes father, what is it that you want? You want that Lord? Oh? Man, well, I don't want to give that up nevertheless Hallelujah to God not my will but thy will be done I'm not talking about a building. I'm talking about a people I want you to have a house Lord a house. That's clean and holy and pure So the Lord should tell her I'm gonna give her a house. She said all right Now I can remember leaving Mississippi and Colette reminded me of this just to show you the way God is oh Okay, we're an hour, okay, it's 11 o'clock, right All right Listen closely beloved father. I pray that you'll take these feeble words and by the Holy Spirit bring for the harvest Please Lord, please Please Please you ever hear your kids, please? We're gonna be believing you for thousands of souls Lord God may there be a church planner in here Who'll be sent forth and who will believe you to bring saints together and you will preach Christ and lay a foundation Lord raise up missionaries in here Think God will do it. I certainly do. There's not a lick of doubt in me right now Not a lick of doubt God's gonna raise up missionaries from our children He'll raise up preachers and evangelists Why because he wants to he's just waiting for someone to ask when was the last time you prayed Oh God save my children with a holy Salvation And you beg God day and night you know what God will do if you do that Might surprise you he'll answer your prayer He'll answer it he'll do that I'm thinking about Richard now Remember Richard who died I have no knowledge of what they're doing right now, but I have a feeling Richards rejoicing hallelujah No, I'm not talking to the dead don't worry No, I'm not communing with the dead. I'm communing with the living with God But I believe the Saints in there and that you know we're all one body just because they died it doesn't mean they're not part Of our body you know they're part of it. They know what's going on. They're groaning with us You know they don't stop groaning once they die You know they cease from their labors and that they're no longer in Immortality, but they're still connected to the Christ, and then they're still connected to us So listen beloved listen closely God said I'm gonna give you a house. I said all right Lord, so we came and when we left, Mississippi I remember murmuring under my breath these words and Claire reminded me just to show you the sense of humor of God I said Lord I Wish that it could be that we were leaving Mississippi and going to New Jersey and moving right into the house that you've chosen For us because we have six children My wife's pregnant. I said Lord. You know we're willing, but we've done this seven eight nine times in the past 15 years I said Lord You know all the stress and the difficulty and you know Lord that if we move in somewhere And we have to move we have to store here And then we have to move it to this house, and then to that house And I've got to ask the brothers to help me and oh Lord. You know so I said Lord Well couldn't it be that we could just be and I said well What are you gonna? Do God knows? Well, you know that's the very thing that happened we moved from Mississippi We moved in to chicken Audrey's house my mother and father-in-law's But we didn't know at the time that that was the house that God had chosen So we just did what anyone else would do we said Lord we're gonna get in touch with a Realtor and we're gonna go and look for houses and we look for houses for about a month and nothing worked out And we started actually we actually said to the Lord Lord We're moving in and we want to be out by September because they were at the shore and the house was pretty much empty So therefore we thought well hey there won't be any conflict. We'll just move out During the summer so that by September we'll be all moved out into our home So come July a whole month of looking and nothing was happening oh Golly, we said Lord Please Lord. We've asked you we've asked you Lord. You've spoken to us Lord You've spoken to us Lord that you're gonna have a place for us. We really want to be out by September Please Lord do something nothing happened nothing happened the door seemed to close Then it was sometime around July 15th one early morning I woke up and I was half asleep and half awake and the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart And this is what he said he said open your eyes fell look around I hope my eyes and I was in the bedroom that I was sleeping and I was half asleep and half awake and the Lord Said to me. This is the house it's yours I Slapped myself, and then I imagined telling my wife and what she would do And then I got enough courage up, and I told her and to make a long story short we knew that it was We knew it was crazy Home was their dream. It was their dream. They loved it didn't even from their own mouth was their dream house Number two it wasn't for sale was it Norman? Remember that remember the time you and I walked on the street Together Michael Norman and I and we were walking and we were talking about homes or something And we were looking at all these nice homes, and I think Norman said well the problem with all these homes There was they weren't for sale And I think either Martin Michael or I made a comment It doesn't matter if it's not for sale God's not limited to a for sale sign So it wasn't for sale Wasn't being advertised as being for sale, but God Said this is what I'm going to do So what happened is that we got to pray about it, and we just said oh Lord have mercy on us Meanwhile we had requested a loan Through a mortgaging company because we were trying to do the responsible thing and that was to buy a house and we got rejected I Didn't have a good financial history So we got fired we got rejected, so we were like really like oh, God You see God always puts you where you you're in an impossible Situation in order to enlarge you in order to teach you to pray in order to teach you to depend upon him So here we are Six of us six kids two adults Packed tight into this house knowing that they were coming home in a little while God said this is your house So what are we going to do? What are we going to do? Should we continue to look for a house? Should we go and say hey guess what? God told me this is What do you do? So you know you get real low before the Lord, and you just pray You just pray All right So the Lord closed the door we couldn't get a loan so we were stuck To make a long story short I Had just mentioned to dad and mom in passing Something like this, but it sure would be nice if we could get this house That was it just it just like a joke almost to test the waters Well when we tested the waters the response was not favorable which even made it more difficult So sometimes when God speaks to you, and you test the waters. It doesn't look like it's gonna work out What's the temptation to do well forget that it wasn't God? But I knew it was God You know there were comments made first of all you could never afford this house, and that's absolutely true We we couldn't then and we can't now but God can and Then that's where you put the period God can period That's where you got to live God can Okay Another thing is they were they had plans on tearing down one of the walls in the back bedroom and Enlarging the soul sewing room. I mean they had plans So we committed it to God and we said Lord we're at your mercy We have no plan. We don't know what to do you have to do something to make a long story short a little while later During a time period when we prayed without ceasing God Sovereignly took his hand and started changing the heart and within a couple weeks the response then was well You know what we got to thinking about it, and it's we realize it's the thing to do And we stood back at in all. I remember when I went to Romania in August I Remember on the plane flying to Europe. I was crying because I was leaving my family and There was uncertainty in our house. My wife didn't know what was going to happen. We were unsure Lord had spoken. It was August September was right around the corner there have been no decision yet made about where we were going to live And here I was leaving to go to Europe for 17 days When my family was stranded in my eyes in a home And here we were believing God for it, and I was like what are we doing? This is their home. It's the Krug home There's a legacy there It was a difficult situation a lot of emotion. I didn't feel like going to Romania and preaching It's not always going to be a comfortable road beloved I I Remember praying saying Oh God if you do this if you pull this off Lord I promise you Lord that in your timing I will testify to all your people and teach and preach without ceasing on the power of prayer and stir people To where if they will do it your way And they will let you bring them down to nothing so that their hearts desire nothing You'll give them everything that pertains to what they have need of and plus you'll give them anything They asked for that pertains to the kingdom of God And I'm gonna fulfill that promise of the Lord So to make a long story short they decided That's what they're gonna do and the Lord turned the whole thing around to where we were chuckling We're here we were feeling so like we were intruding and then all of a sudden they started walking around and they were acting like they were intruding because it was our home and Here we would go to bed at night and we would say oh we feel so bad Because here we're intruding and then the very next week we go to bed at night and sigh and say ha we're in our house and All in check would come and say We feel so bad because we need to get make room for you because it's your place now We just looked and laughed at each other said how God turned the whole thing around the whole thing around Now during that time The Lord had spoke to me and said that not only now this is before we knew what was going to happen God said you want to get the house. He said also he said he was going to fill the auditorium So that's how we have such confident faith to know that God is going to sovereignly move and fill the auditorium He said that and He said another thing too He said he was going to bring people from other countries here into our midst and to receive the Holy Ghost and to see the vision of body life and go back to their countries and Bring it to the people there It's what he said three things to me I Really know of a host of believers who've told me in Scotland and Romania who want to come and Want to behold what God is doing and who have caught the vision of body life and organic Christianity and they want to reproduce it back in their own country among their own sisters and brothers It's God's already got the people Ask what you will and it shall be done Are you willing brothers and sisters to lose your life to lose your interests and to become a lover of God's Word a seeker of God's Word are you willing to crave after God's Word and Hunger for it and search for it Are you willing to live and die by the Word of God If this is what God's Word says and I'm not what God's Word says I should be then I'm wrong and God's Word is right and I come to you Lord to change me Mark chapter 11 I'm gonna close now We're doing it backwards this morning. I Can't ask a question does anybody feel like God has created even the slightest bit of increase of faith in your heart this Morning to believe him hallelujah to God brothers and sisters. I don't think we're gonna I don't think we're gonna be able to I don't you might be able to do a song and a dance now You know how sometimes when somebody gets caught they do a song and a dance and they somehow slip their way out of it And they talk and they they just they somehow just get to where they're at there You're not gonna do a song and a dance when you stand before him beloved Your feet are gonna dance and you're not gonna do a song You're gonna sit and listen Just think all right. Here's what we're gonna do right now. I Want you to think of two excuses right now that that you're that you're gonna give the Lord on that day when he says to you Why Why didn't you ask me for bigger things? Why didn't you ask me for things that would have brought glory to me? Why didn't you believe me? What are you gonna say to him just think of something you might say? Doesn't come easily does it Well when I was too busy What do you think I'll do? Oh, okay. Well in that case, that's fine. I don't think so What about what I just didn't believe that you really would do it. Oh, that's that's cool. You're just calling him a liar That's no big thing. You know God you're a liar What else? Well, that wasn't my calling Oh watch out it wasn't my calling Well, you think this is just for some special Christians Absolutely. Hey, let me tell you this isn't just for preachers now I admit not everyone's a preacher not everyone's an apostle not everyone's a prophet not everyone's an evangelist Not everyone has a teaching gift But these promises don't Aren't limited to the ministry gifts. This is limited to whosoever will Mark chapter 11 Have faith in God Now this is after Jesus cursed The fig tree and it dried up from the roots Have faith in God Now, you know a better Translation of that is this have faith of God Have the faith of God in other words pray that God will fill your heart with the faith that comes from him Don't try and muster the faith up Don't do that because that'll lead you to a dead end come to God and say father You are the author of faith The word says looking unto Jesus Christ the author and perfecter of my faith faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God So Jesus is the author of faith Reading the Word of God is the author of faith and also faith comes from the fruit of the Spirit What are the fruit of the Spirit love joy? faith Faith so see faith comes from the Holy Ghost faith comes from the Word of God and faith comes from Jesus Christ So when you need faith, don't try and muster it up faith is not mind over matter I Believe I deny What I see I believe by my power my confession. Oh, that's not God's that's metaphysics That's Christian science. We don't want that We want faith that comes to the poor and the meek who acknowledge that they're bankrupt So what I have nothing but thou hast all things What a release that brings to you doesn't it don't you have to muster it up in yourself You just have to ask God for it. Amen Verily I say unto you that Whosoever shall say under this mountain be thou removed and be cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that Those things which he saith shall come to pass. He shall have what so ever he saith What so ever he saith Wow There it is beloved God is asking us to believe him God is asking us to hide the word in our heart This whole thing hangs on getting our desires lined up with God's desires and then asking God for things that reflect his desire the only limitations That we will discover That Were placed on us on the day of judgment will be the ones that we placed The ones that we place because of our unbelief Because we simply did not believe that God was everything that he said he was We didn't believe That God was everything that he promised he would be That's the limit That is on us today If we would but believe God all things would be possible According to his will were you currently asking God for? May I just say from the Lord that it's probably best that everybody begins staying focused on Christ ask God For Christ for his fullness ask God For a hunger for the Word of God start there beloved. Don't start trying to imagine I'm gonna ask God for this. I'm gonna ask now. Don't do that start with this as newborn babes crave Desire the sincere milk of the word that she may grow thereby Let the word of Christ richly dwell in you start by believing God to make his word the Meditation of your heart to hide his word in your heart and for the Word of God to begin to speak to you in a very real living way To convict you to challenge you to change you and it's in that posture of having a relationship with God Hungry after God and finding God's word to become a living book speaking to you Showing you the ways of God showing you where you need correction and then bringing you down on your knees It's in that posture that God begins to form you into a prince with him a prince We're out of that relationship. God will begin to give you desires For him desires for his kingdom and those desires that God gives you he'll grant to you every single one of them He'll grant Hallelujah to God Is there a song we can sing I Hallelujah, let's just worship the Lord for a season now.
