Sermon Summary
Tim Williams discusses the remarkable impact of the 1904 Welsh Revival, emphasizing that the conversions of 100,000 soldiers were not due to human strategy but rather the divine work of God. He highlights the importance of relying on the Holy Spirit and the necessity of obedience to God's call, rather than seeking human perfection. Williams warns of the dangers that accompany revival, noting that true revival is a work of God that cannot be controlled or contained by man. He encourages listeners to recognize the simplicity and beauty of God's hand in revival, urging them to seek the source of spiritual renewal. The sermon serves as a reminder that revival is essential and that it is God who brings about transformation in hearts and lives.

This year is the 1901 Welsh Revival. During that revival in Wales, 100,000 soldiers were converted to Christ over a five-month period. Those conversions were not the result of some great strategy or integrated effort. It is not the attribute of this unusually great history. Old and women and young people, Christ, our Saviour, and massive social and faith movements, because of what I taught, spiritually, we're still the brave people that we are. Secondly, we should have pleased ourselves with all this perfection in my third and last lecture. A day will begin. I fear it will be too often to develop. First, I want to consider the scores of those who did and who remained. The father never, ever stopped. The man was altered and changed and never drank again his entire life. But the last one, then, is the spirit revival. Let us see what the revival is about. God has not chosen us. It is not man. Do not wait for me. Depend upon God. Obey the Spirit. God has set His hand upon the man. Beautiful and simplistic. All the qualities of man. The forefront of man. Man who lacks all the essential qualities. It's an order. We say, oh, I need to get a man. But as soon as we must, we are not seeking to be a man. To the source. To the fountain. Realizing that that's the most important of it all. And revival, even as with regeneration, is the work of God. The wind, the lowest, where it lifted. It cannot be harvested. It cannot be placed in a pocket. Or in a man's hands be released. Any professional in special services. The people have been stirred and warmed. And many have professed to be converted. Now, the revival in the world is coming. But secondly, there is always a great danger. Evil will change. Loyalty is a welcome word. It boils all over. Spreading the sails. So the preacher sets his spirit as his word. And the pathway is divided into reasons. As the spirit is the talk of the church. There is a sudden moving note of unheard preaching. And look at this. Oh sinner, won't you come. And it's an emotional feeling. I agree with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He said God will secure Egypt just as he did with Bolton. And I'm done. Oh, what about Wilfredo? He's dead and I saved him. Bolton, whenever you get drunk, preaching is gone. And I need a spouse. During the 1859 revival. I want you to think about this. Because if you listen to these amazing people. You come down to Benny Hinn. And these people are word. Or are they? They come forth and do whatever. The chief instrument in it are not persons of weight. But there have been children on the subject of it. It is more exciting for the present time than yet. And there again will be words. Converts will there be. As we've seen by now. Thousands flock to the prayer meetings. Because the passage stood back. This revival lasts. It is true that we need a revival. It simply is not the case. Charles Hadley Spurgeon said in his day. To me, it is clear that this book revival. Lloyd Jones said. And there were many. And each of those. They always meant. The 1894 revival. It began in Moriah. And all the revivals in modern times of the church. All meant. The reason for that. Calvinism teaching. Underscores the fact. That was not the purpose. Although it was part of the old evangelical faith. More to that point. Those who were taken up with liberal views of the church. Let me say something. You can read chapter 4. It seems to me. The cleric himself. To the helpful. Cites this. The rule of theology. Something. Not only sword. And of salvation. And pride ourselves. Oh, we have indoctrinated in force teachings. And he comes down. And he runs to heaven. And he says. If you go back in time. You can experience. Many think that they have such a. Sells out of a box. And buying. Tell me. What are the solutions? All divine. God. All survival. And God. Does not explain this in any other way. It does not. Come about. In the new. Let us. At least. Let us cease trying to. A praying remnant. Had been. I tell you. Robert is. Looking at it. You would see. Fire breaking. Out here. And there. And. Donder. Say this. Without the. See what. I can do. To. Hold it. Out. Stated. In clear terms. As he. We're going. Off. To a place.
