Sermon Summary
Phil Beach Jr. emphasizes the transformative power of prayer, urging believers to make Jesus the Lord of their hearts and to engage in a deep, personal relationship with Him through prayer. He highlights that true prayer is not about eloquence or self-reliance but about surrendering to the will of God and recognizing the claims Christ has over our lives. The sermon encourages the congregation to seek a deeper understanding of prayer as a means to access God's power and glory, ultimately leading to a life that reflects Christ's love and purpose. Beach Jr. calls for a commitment to prayer that is rooted in faith and dependence on the Holy Spirit, promising that such prayer will bring about deliverance and transformation.

Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart. We don't need any music. Somebody else start it though so that it's on key. Whoever wants to start, let's lift our hearts to him and let's sing it to him, but let's really personalize it tonight. Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart tonight because he walks in our midst and he's searching for a people who are utterly, utterly committed to him because it will be upon them and through them that he reveals his glory. All together. ♪ Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart ♪ ♪ Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart ♪ Let's sing it, sing it out, saints. Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart Jesus be the Lord of all the kingdoms of my heart All the kingdoms of my heart Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Hallelujah, Lord. Luke chapter 11 beginning in verse number 14. Luke chapter 11 beginning in verse number 14. These words that we're going to read tonight are words that the Holy Spirit is now speaking to you and I. This is something that God is breathing upon even now as we gather together in His name. This is what the Lord is currently doing right now in our midst. This reflects right now the ministry of the Son of God in our midst through the power of the Holy Spirit of God. Luke chapter 11 beginning in verse number 14. And he was casting out a devil and it was dumb. And it came to pass when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake and the people wondered. But some of them said, he casteth out devils through Beelzebub, the chief of the devils. And others, tempting him, sought him a sign from heaven. But he, knowing their faults, always remember that, beloved. But he, knowing their faults, said unto them, every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And a house divided against a house falleth. If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? Because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore shall they be your judges. Now hear this, the word of the Lord beginning in verse number 20. But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. When a strong man, armed, keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger, when a stronger, hallelujah to God, when a stronger, when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, hallelujah. When a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his honor wherein he trusted and divided his spoils. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. When a strong man, armed, keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace. Everything is okay. When this strong man guardeth his palace, everything is fine. His goods are in peace. No need to be concerned, no need to despair, no need to take any special action. His goods are at peace. But, but, my God, but when a stronger than he, a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted and divides his spoils. There is a strong man and there is one that is stronger than he. There is a strong man whose goods are at peace, whose shield is at peace, but there is he that is stronger than the strong man. And it is the he that is stronger than the strong man that overcomes the strong man and spoils his goods and takes the shield away that he trusted in and takes that which was his and snatches it and it becomes the stronger man's. Hallelujah. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah. The power of prevailing prayer. The power of persevering prayer. The Lord, the Lord has been speaking to all of us regarding this issue of prayer. Showing us how near and dear the subject of prayer is to his heart. Encouraging us along the way. Inspiring us along the way. Trying to instill in us through the word of God and through the power of the Holy Spirit a desire to pray. He is trying to draw us. He is trying to entice us. He is trying to allure us. He is trying to create within us an interest to become involved in an activity of prayer and the Holy Ghost that is going to effectively bring wherever the prayer is, his power and his glory on the scene. The first night we talked a little bit about hindrances to prayer. We talked about the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ indicated that of himself he could do nothing. And that was the secret of his successful life. That was the secret of his ability to know the will of God and to walk in the power of God. He was a man that was utterly cast upon his Father in heaven and renounced any kind of self-confidence. And Paul the Apostle had the same testimony. Not that we are sufficient in ourselves. He had wrought in him the same revelation through the Holy Spirit that enabled him to pour contempt upon every ounce of trust that he had in anything other than the working of the power of God in his life. And that is why he was able as a man to do things that men cannot do. He was able to go forth and to bring a word of deliverance to people that men normally shouldn't be able to bring. It's because he was plugged in to a living God. It was because he had a power working in him that did not come from earth. It didn't come from himself, beloved. It didn't come from his lofty wisdom. But it came from the living God who dwelled in him. And then last night we talked about prayer as a relationship. And we learned that we cannot bring into relationships in the natural hypocrisy. We can't be fake one with another. We must learn to be transparent. We must learn to be honest. We must learn to have a heart-sharing experience one with another. And last night we saw that prayer essentially is a relationship. And that God longs for us to pray because he longs to have relationship with us. But just like we don't want hypocrisy in our marriages or in our relationships with one another, likewise, the Lord doesn't want us to go into prayer with hypocrisy like the Pharisees did. Who loved to pray that they might be seen of men. And who loved to say nice things and elegant things thinking that by these words they will be heard. Jesus said, don't be like them. And so he exhorted us to renounce hypocrisy. And searched our hearts, freeing us from the desire to be seen of men. Freeing us from the desire to do our prayer before men that we might be seen. Delivering us from that baggage. Delivering us from that stuff in our lives that he doesn't want us to have with our relationship with him. And then we looked into the wonderful prayer that he taught us. Our Father which art in heaven. And saw that that basically was a prayer teaching us how to have relationship with God. So for two nights we've been talking about prayer. We've been hopefully stirring up the interest in prayer through the word of God and the Holy Spirit. And tonight, tonight God has prepared something as I indicated last night, meat for men. And tonight we're going to delve into the subject of prayer in a fashion that is only going to interest those who are prepared to meet the stronger one and be overcome by him. The power of prevailing prayer lies within the believer's ability given by God to come by faith to the living Christ and offer oneself unreservedly, unconditionally at his feet. And confess, Lord God Almighty, I have come to you and I accept the claims that you have over my life. The secret to prevailing power in prayer does not lie in your tenacity, it doesn't lie in your power, it doesn't lie in your determination. But it lies in your association and your union and your fellowship with the great intercessor himself. Christ Jesus, he is the one who prevails in prayer. He is the one who's got the word of deliverance tonight. He is the one, he is the one. It's the man in glory. It's the man in glory. I said it's the man in glory. He's the intercessor. He's the one that ever liveth. He's the one, he's the one who prayed, as it were, drops of blood. He's the one and the secret to prevailing prayer in the church of Jesus Christ today. Hallelujah. My God. The secret of prevailing prayer in the church today is to accept by faith the claims of the Son of God in our life. And as we accept the claims of the Son of God in our life and enter into a union with him, a fellowship with him, we will plug into by faith a prevailing prayer, a power with prayer that we could not imagine. Tonight, listen closely. The Holy Spirit would say to all of us, take your heart's focus off of everything, off of everyone, and place it upon the blessed Son of the living God, who is the source from which all the power and the glory and the enabling comes to the church of Jesus Christ. When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. Turn with me, if you would, to John. Hallelujah to God. Thank you, Lord. Meat for men. This is meat for men. John chapter 6. As you're turning there, I want to read a verse in John chapter 4. Keep your finger on John chapter 6, though. John chapter 4, verse number 32. And he said unto them, verse 31. In the meanwhile, his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. Listen closely, beloved. And he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Jesus told his own disciples that he handpicked, after spending an entire night in prayer and fasting, that he was eating meat that they had no clue of, they knew not of. The secret tonight of prevailing prayer, the secret tonight of being a prince with God through prayer, is to come to know the meat that Jesus feasted upon, and to learn to eat that meat day and night, and live by it, and live in it, and seek for it, and feast upon it, and declare it's your meat in the morning, it's your meat in the noonday, it's your meat at night, it's your meat when you wake up at two o'clock in the morning, it's your meat when you're going to the shopping center, it's your meat when you're at the gas station, it's a meat that Jesus lived on. His disciples knew nothing about it, though. But you know what? Every one of them came to discover that meat. And that's why they shook the known world in their generation. It has nothing to do with their skills, nothing to do with their craftiness, nothing to do with their church organization, nothing to do with their talents, nothing to do with their lofty speeches, nothing to do with their sermons, nothing to do with anything about them. They plugged in to a heavenly meat. And it transformed them, and it changed them, and it revolutionized them. And the world, my God, my God, this is a word of deliverance. It's coming from God. This is a word of deliverance to you and I tonight. Jesus is saying, I have meat that you know not of, but I will, if you bid me, I will come and show you the meat, and offer it to you. But it's costly. It's costly. It's costly, beloved. Oh, I know at the first night when I announced that on Sunday night, we're going to be talking about the power of prayer. Oh, I know we can get excited about that, huh? We can get excited about that. We can say hallelujah to God. I want to be powerful in prayer. And that's all right. That's good. And we say, oh, that sounds like an exciting message. And it is an exciting message. But oh, let's never forget, beloved, that to plug into the power of God through prayer, hallelujah, it's more than just an exciting message. It's more than just something that we get excited about. It's the sentence of death. The sentence of death. The claims that Christ has over you as the Lord, as the one who purchased your salvation. You know what those claims are? Your body is not your own anymore. Your spirit is not your own anymore. And your soul is not your own anymore. You have been bought with a price. You have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's possession. Verse 32, keep your finger in John, because we're going there. We're going there. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. Father, I thank you and I praise you for your Holy Spirit and your word, because it's the spirit and the word that does the work in our midst. Isn't he lovely? Thank him tonight. Just thank him. Thank the Lord. It's him. It's his spirit. It's his word. To him, the glory and honor in the church now and forever. Amen? I have meat, Jesus said. And his disciples said, who brought him food? Who beat us to it? I thought we were the ones in there, huh? Hey, I'm a little jealous. That's what they thought. Don't kid yourself. They were quite carnal. They were quite carnal, walking with the Son of God, trying to figure out who was going to be the greatest. Who's going to be the boss? Who's going to sit on his right? Who's going to sit on his left? Who's going to run the show when he's gone? Who's going to run the show? Who's going to run the show? Who's going to take over? Who's going to sit on the chair of authority? Who brought him food? He picked us. We're the chosen ones. So you got some secret followers? Huh? Secret followers? Who are they? Peter, you talk to them. Peter said, I'll set them straight. I'll set them straight. John says, I'll be right behind you. I'll set them straight. I have meat that you know not of. Power with prevail. Power with travail. Prayer that prevails. I have meat that you know not of. Do we want to know about this power in prayer? Do we want to, as families and as a congregation, know this power that comes through prevailing prayer? If we do, beloved, thank you, Lord. If we do, beloved, we must come to Father tonight through His Son and say, Father, show me this meat that Thy Son feasted upon. I'm interested. Verse 33, Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him anything to eat? Somebody beat us to it. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work. What is your agenda tonight? What is your plan tonight? If it is not a deep, deep, deep passion and longing to know, do, and finish the will of God, then you, beloved, have not tasted the meat that Christ has come to offer. John chapter 6. Thank you, Lord. Verse number 51, beginning there. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever. And the bread that I give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Was Jesus talking about cannibalism? Verse 53. Then Jesus said to them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood hath everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. So Jesus said that his meat was to do the will of the Father. And now he says that his flesh and his blood are meat, which tells me that when we really begin to eat of his flesh and drink of his blood, what are we doing? Hallelujah to God. What is a true sign that we're eating of his flesh and drinking of his blood? Which is meat, he said. A true sign is that we're feasting on his meat. And his meat was what? To know, do, and finish the will of God. He that saith, I am eating his flesh and drinking his blood, must at the same time be actively seeking and desiring beyond anything to know and do and finish the will of God. The will of God becomes the most essential imperative passion of our life. Nothing, nothing is more important to us than the will of God. Knowing and doing the will of God. Verse number 55. For my flesh is meat indeed and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me and I in him. Notice verse 57 and 58. Very important. As the living Father hath sent me, listen, and I live by the Father. Jesus was sustained by the Father. Jesus lived by the Father. Jesus walked in complete dependence on the Father. The Son of Himself can do nothing. And Jesus was saying, just as I, as a man, walked in utter dependence upon my Father, so likewise, read on. So he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. Jesus walked. Multitudes followed Him. Many, many people followed Him with many, many different various motives. Some thought Jesus was a free handout. Others thought Jesus was the answer to Roman tyranny. Ah, He'll deliver us from the bondage of Rome. Others thought Jesus was just there to be nice to associate with. Jesus knew why people were following Him. Jesus was the Son of God. He knew the hearts and thoughts of men. And for many, many days they followed Him. And then finally we come to John chapter 6. And the Father tells Jesus in prayer probably, It's time, Son, tell Him the truth. Tell Him the truth. And the Son, as usual, says, Okay, Father. And He tells Him the truth. And this is what He said. He said, Do you see me? Do you see me? Listen. He said, Do you see the kind of man I am? He said, I know why you're following me. But I want you to know something. To follow me does not mean that I will deliver you from Roman tyranny. It doesn't mean that I will give you free handouts. To follow me means that you lose your life and exchange it for my life. Eat my flesh. Drink my blood. No, we're not going to have a barbecue and put me on the roast. No, that's not what I'm saying. Jesus was saying, You see me? I'm the embodiment of all that God ever desired to see in a man. This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Never did God say that about any other man and never has He subsequent to that said it about any other man. Never, never, never has God ever opened up the heavens and said, This is my Son and I'm pleased with Him. You who follow me, Jesus said, must come to see that in yourself you cannot please God. You have nothing to offer to God. All of your goodness, all of your righteousness, all of your holiness, all of your good works, everything that you pile up to God and offer to Him, God says, I don't want any of it. I've got it all in my Son. I've got it all in my Son. And unless you're willing to make the great transition from one kind of life on the inside to a whole new different kind of life on the inside, you've got no life in you and your following me is going to be a short one. Power with prayer. Do we want power with prayer with God tonight? Listen. Verse 60. Many therefore of His disciples, when they heard this, said, Lord, this is a hard saying. This is a hard saying, Lord. John 6, 6, 6. What does it say? From that time. From what time? That time. What time? Right then. From that time. When Jesus laid the cards on the deck, or laid the deck on the table. When Jesus told them the truth. Many. John 6, 6, 6. No, sorry, Lord. Don't think I'm in it this deep. Don't think I want to get involved this much. Sounds like it's a bit fanatical to me, Lord. Sounds like it's a bit overkill, isn't it? Luke chapter 14. Hard saying. Overkill. Don't want to get involved this much. Don't think I'm prepared to pour contempt upon everything that I am. I mean, Lord, there's got to be some good in me. Just a little bit. Just a little bit. Bless you, Lord. A hard saying. Luke chapter 14. Verse 25. And there went great multitudes with him, and he turned and said unto them, If any man come to me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross and come after me cannot be my disciple. Verse 33. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. The word forsake means to place away from ourself so as not to become a part of it. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Spilled some water on me, but it actually felt good. I think it was providential. Oh, thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. You know why the Lord tells us these things? He loves us too much not to. Say that again. Why does the Lord tell us these things? Because he loves us too much not to. It's his love, beloved. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. We'll go on, but let's wait a few moments and let's just wait before the Lord. Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit taking the word this far and making us to see what your claims are upon our life tonight. Yes, Lord. The claims that God has upon our life tonight, spirit, soul, and body, we are not our own. We are bought with a price. We are his. I believe that part of the word of deliverance tonight that God has for us is to call us out and enable us, have us acknowledge the calls, the claims, the rights that he has over our life tonight as a people who call on his name, as a people who believe in him, and here it is right here. Here it is. Listen. My God, thank you, Lord. When we by faith will come to him and reaffirm his claims on our life according to the word of God, the power of almighty God will come and bring mighty deliverance in our midst right here tonight. Do you believe that? It's not going to be by power. It's not going to be by might. It's by the spirit of the living God tonight. God is going to honor his word by bringing deliverance to every single soul here that will with a sincere heart say, yes, Lord, I've heard your word. I know this is the meat tonight who will say, yes, Lord, God has a word of deliverance for you. This is the message of the cross right here. This is the message of the cross right here. Paul said, Galatians 2.20, I am crucified with Christ. He said in Galatians chapter 6, I am crucified to the world and the world is crucified unto me. He said in Romans chapter 6, I have died, I have been buried, I am no longer the man I used to be. But now I am united to Christ. He is my life. To deny oneself doesn't necessarily mean we fight against the flesh. The word deny can be translated, I don't know the man. Oh, get this revelation, beloved. Get it. May God give it to us. When we deny our old self, we simply say as Peter did when he denied the Lord. What did Peter say when he denied the Lord? I don't know the man. Same Greek word. When Peter said, I don't know him, the Greek word is the same as Jesus used when he said, if any man come after me, let him deny himself. Let him, I don't know the man. What liberation. What emancipation. It's the word of God. Just believe it. Just believe it. When I come to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I'm born again and pray and God gives me the Holy Spirit, I am loosed from the flesh. I am no longer in it. I'm in Christ. And the flesh and all of its desires, even the lawful ones, cannot entangle me from my commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, cannot sidetrack me from my desire to eat the meat, to do the will of God and to finish it. It is a clarion call from the spirit of God and the word of God tonight saying, come follow me by faith lay down at the cross everything that stands between you and God and God says I'll command a word of deliverance into your soul, into your spirit, upon your body tonight. He'll honor his word. He'll honor it. He's gonna do it. My God. Colossians chapter three. Beloved, this is the meat. This is where real prayer begins. Oh yes. God hears our prayers when we're young Christians and God hears our prayers when we're struggling and we've trusted the Lord and he lives in our life but we haven't apprehended the full claims of his lordship over our life. God does hear us. He loves us. He takes care of us like he did Israel. They rebelled constantly but God said your shoes didn't wear out. I fed you with manna. I took care of you but you displeased me. God's provision in your life is no sign that you're pleasing him. It's a sign that he loves you in spite of our failure. To see the claims that he has and he patiently waits until times like this when we're gathered together under the lordship of Jesus Christ and utterances given by God to remind us all that being a Christian is becoming a living martyr. A martyr. I die to Phil. The old Phil and now the new man Phil is united to Christ and as the word of God says in Colossians chapter three, oh hallelujah, how God's word thrills my soul. Verse number one, if ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are where? Above. There is too much seeking in the body of Christ today for things that are below. And I mean even below the earth. That's hell. God says if you be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above. Above. There's not much above in the TV. How much above do you find coming out of it? How much? Do we want power with prayer? Do we want to be able to come to our home and go into our prayer closet and kneel down before God and have God say, hush, heaven, be still. Yes, Lord. He's praying. I listen to him. I listen to him because I see in him a heart wholly, entirely, yielded up to my rights in his life. I see he's claiming my righteousness alone. I see he's walking in the good of my holiness. I see my word is deeply hidden in his heart. I see the meditation of his mind is upon me day and night. I see that the word of God richly dwells in him. I see that he loves righteousness and hates iniquity. Quiet! He's praying. And while that's going on in heaven, there's another thing going on in hell. Hell is yelling and screaming and the devils are angry and they have a meeting and they say, we got to do something! And all the devils come and the devil, what's wrong? And they say, he's praying! And you know what happens when he prays? And they all take their hands and put it over their ears and they say, yes, but we don't want to acknowledge it. And the devil says, you better acknowledge it. God answers his prayer! And the devil says, you know why God's answering his prayer? Because every one of you imps have failed to turn him aside and he found that meat that Jesus of Nazareth ate and now because he's eating it, you know you become what you eat. You know that. Now that he's eating and feasting on that flesh, that heavenly flesh, that heavenly blood, it's the very power of the Son of God working through him, he's trouble. But we can't stop him. We can't stop his prayers unless we can get him to somehow turn aside. But it's going to be very hard because he depends daily on the strength that comes from God and that word. And that almost makes it a losing battle. My God, if you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ sits. At the right hand of God, set your affections. Guess what the word affection means? The thoughts, the mind, the will and the intellect. Where's your mind today? Perfect peace have they whose minds are stayed on who? On him. Oh, meat for men. Lord, feed us this meat tonight. This is so liberating. Oh, it's so liberating. My God, it's so freeing. My God, it's so powerful. It's the word. Few more minutes, beloved. And what we're going to do is come before father through his son and give opportunity for every person to acknowledge. I believe your word and I give you the rights over my life. The word of deliverance will come. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth for ye are dead. You say, well, I'm not dead. Now what you're saying is you're calling God a liar. Just because you haven't understood what it means to be dead, don't say you're not dead. That's the problem. We don't understand the word of God and so we try and out guess it. Well, I know the Bible says I'm dead, but I'm not really dead. If the Bible says you are dead, you are dead. I just haven't understood what it means. You know why? Because we base it on our experience and on how we feel. And you can't do that. All that simply means, listen closely, when Jesus Christ came and got a hold of me and snatched me from the kingdom of darkness and translated me into the kingdom of his son, he redeemed my spirit. He took me out of a union that I had with flesh and sin and brought me into union with his ascended son, who is righteousness, peace and joy. It is the spirit of life in Christ Jesus that has set me free from the law of sin and death. When the Bible says you are dead, it has nothing to do with your experience at the moment, but it has everything to do with the fact of God's mighty power translating you out of what you were in. So therefore I am dead, listen, by virtue of my union with Christ to all that I was before Jesus saved me. I'm dead to it. I'm dead, I'm divorced from what I was and I am now married to the man in glory. He is now my life. If you'll see this truth, it will revolutionize your Christian life. For ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, what does it say? Our life. Have you come to see that Christ is your life? Have you come to see that when God saved you he connected you by the mystical union of the Holy Ghost in you with the living Christ, the Son of God? He is my life. When I see the Son of God, I see my life. I see in him all of the eternal perfections that God is well pleased with and has imputed to my account and now is forming in me. Blessed be God forever, away with all your fleshly attempts, away with all self-righteousness, away with all your attempts to holiness. Christ is the sum total of my salvation, my justification, my sanctification, and my wisdom. He is everything. Turn, what's the song we sing? Turn your eyes upon Jesus and the things of this earth and the things in this earth and the things in the flesh. In my flesh dwelleth no good thing, Paul said. Nothing. My eyes are upon him. The secret to victory over sin is not introspection, it's not trying to fight it in your flesh, but it's get full of the Holy Ghost and the Word of God and see Jesus. For the life of the Spirit in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and death. It is Jesus and his life that sets me free. Christ, who is your life, shall appear. Then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Now, I'm going to read one scripture, maybe two more. Thank God for his enabling. In light of all that has just been spoken, can we begin to see the potential in verses like John 15? Listen. The Holy Ghost is bearing witness now. 15.7 Listen closely. If ye abide in me. Oh, now we know what it is to abide in Christ. To abide in Christ is death to ourself, but it's life in Christ if we abide in Christ. And he says, my words abide in you. Beloved, here is a picture of not only a believer, but a transformed believer who by the power of faith, the power of God, the power of the Spirit of God has renounced the flesh, has renounced the old life, has believed the word of God, and confesses the word of God. I am dead to sin. It doesn't say sin is dead in me. It says I am dead to sin by virtue of my relationship to Christ and it. Before Jesus came into my life, I was intimately united to sin in the flesh, but now, hallelujah to God, I've been translated, emancipated out of the flesh and the dominion of sin and Christ is my life and He is righteousness. I believe the word of God tonight. What do you believe? If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what? Say that again. What ye will. Where's the limits? Let me ask a question. You got Christ dwelling in you and you got His words dwelling in you. You're not going to be asking things. You're not going to be asking things to pamper yourself. Your heart is going to be hallelujah. Your heart is going to be crying out for things that God wants done in this earth. And you're not going to look at what you see with your eyes. You're not going to hear what you hear with your ears, but you're going to get in and you're going to know what God's will is and you're going to ask and you're going to look at the circumstance and say, sorry, God says this is what He wants and you're going to pray and prevail and prevail through the power of God until you see God. Take the Red Sea and open it up. These scriptures aren't working today in the church because the church is trying to grab hold of these things and bring before God all of her vain glory desires and all of her self-related, self-absorbed wants and claim God's word. God, this is what I want and you said you'll do it. And God looks down and He does two things. He shakes His head and He weeps. These promises are not for a carnal church. These promises are not for a church that walks after the flesh. These promises are not for adulterers and fornicators. These promises are not for those who want their name in neon lights. These promises are for those who have heard the claim of the Son of God and have said, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. I accept you as all of my goodness and righteousness. Thy will will be the will I seek after and I pour contempt upon all that's working in me that's part of the old creation and I refuse to have fellowship with it. And we'll get in and learn your word and pray that you'll get your word in my heart and I will look to you to transform me into a spiritual heavenly creature. First John chapter 5. Now we're getting, now we're getting our appetites wet, aren't we? You see this? The power of prayer. Verse 14, chapter 5, 1st John. And this is the confidence that we have in Him. That if we ask what? Anything according to His will. What does He do? What else does He do? And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we what? Have the petitions that we ... Did you hear that? Whatever. You ask according to His will. I hear the voice of God saying it's time. It's time. It's time. It's time to come to Him and give Him the claims, the rights that are already His. It's available to us if we go His way. What song did you have Norman prepare? Did you have a song? Come unto me? Excellent. Come on up. Excellent. Let's just stay before the Lord now. And our brother has a message from the Lord in song. This message from the Lord will be an invitation to come to the shepherd, the Savior, the healer. And He will speak a word of deliverance. If you want to come forward, come. If you want to sit at your seat, fine. Cry out to Him and let's behold the glory of God. Listen closely. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Now wherever you're at tonight, whatever your situation is, it doesn't matter. If you have heard God's word, not with these ears, but with the ear of the Spirit, the ear of the soul, if you've heard God's word and you know that God is calling you to His Son, whether it's for salvation, whether it's for the meat. You've been a Christian, you have walked with the Lord, but you have just gained insight and you now see God is calling you to give Him the rights over your life, which will open up a whole new walk with Him. You might be seeking to be filled with the Spirit, whatever it is. If you will simply respond in your heart, God will meet you tonight. Earlier the Lord spoke to me while singing, and I don't know who, but somebody is struggling with depression. God said He'll free you tonight. Depression. You wrestle with it. Come forward and He'll free you. Let's just sit in His presence. Alright, there's no, it's only ten after eight, we're doing good. Just sit in His presence, let His Spirit move in our midst. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Do a deep work, Lord. A deep work. Sister, the Lord's going to confirm the word that He spoke to you tonight. It's yours. Every word. Every word. You hold on to it, sister. God is not a man that He should lie. God is not a man that He should lie. Let God be true and every man a liar. God's word is true tonight. You know where my confidence is right now, beloved? In the living God. Let the shepherd move. He's ministering. He's ministering. He's ministering. He's ministering. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. That's it. Just begin to worship Him. He's, you know, He's a gentle Savior. He's very gentle and He's long suffering and He's just a dove and He comes and He works with us. He knows our timidity. He knows our He knows that we don't really sometimes know how to respond to Him. That deliverance for depression will come. You step out, beloved. God's told me again He gonna do it in a second. Just like that. Hallelujah. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Father, in the name of Jesus, pray, Lord, that You'll touch my sister now. In Jesus' name, Lord, the word of deliverance, Lord, to her soul. In Jesus' name, Lord. Do it, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. It's the Savior's hand. It's the Savior's hand. There's another one. There's another one. Come on. The water's stirring. Another lady. Come on up. The Lord will touch you. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name, Lord. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. That's right. Hallelujah. He'll never fail you. He'll never fail you. He'll never fail you. Hallelujah. He's so mindful of everything, everything that you're going through. So mindful of it. And He's there. He's the shepherd. And He'll take you by His hand. Shepherd. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. Thank you, Lord. Let's let the shepherd minister. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Father, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray that you will lift this depression, Lord. Set her free in Jesus' mighty name. Lord, according to your word. Sister, it's as good as done. Rejoice and receive it. It's as good as done. It's done. It's done. It's done. Let Him fill you with the Holy Ghost. Let Him fill you. Father, I pray in Jesus' name, Lord, that you'll fill her to overflowing. Lord, put a song in her heart right now. A song in her heart. Hallelujah. Sing it out, sister. A song in your heart. That's good. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes. Yes. Oh, glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Sing out the song. He says, I'll give you beauty for ashes. And hallelujah. He said, I'll give you a song of joy for morning. Beauty for ashes, sister. Hallelujah to God. Glory to God. Let the Savior, come on, you don't need my touch. It's not my hand. Don't, don't look, don't look to a man, beloved. Look to the man in heaven. He is here. He's here. Just look to him. Look to him from time to time. We pray specially, but don't look to a vessel. Hallelujah. It comes from the sun. Right? It comes from the sun. Reach out to him. Reach out to him. Did he give you that song, sister? Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes. That's it. My God. That's it, sister. That's it. Countenance is all changed. All changed. Savior, we're dependent upon you. From you comes all good things, Lord. You are the source of living water. We look to you, Lord. We look to you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah to God. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Now, some of you have heard the voice of God saying, my daughter, my son, it's time that you acknowledge my rights. You heard my word tonight. Yes, I want to give you a prayer ministry, a powerful prayer ministry, but you know what it hangs upon now. Yes. God's inviting you. Now listen, there's a lot of, there's some strongholds in your life, but I tell you right now, it's not going to be by a preacher's hand on your forehead that's going to give you deliverance. You know where it's going to come? When you say, yes, Lord, you've got the rights over my... At that moment, God will speak and command deliverance in your life. Yes, he will. Devil, you are a liar. Did you hear that? Did you hear that? He says, no, he won't. Yes, he will. Yes, he will. Yes, he will. He's a liar. Glory be to your name. God is not a man that he... We've been using that a lot today, sister. God is not a man that he should lie. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. I acknowledge your sovereign rights over my life now and by faith, I give it all to you. He'll do it. You want special prayer, that's all right, but I'll tell you right now, it's not going to be my prayer. It's not going to be my prayer. I'll come touch you, but it's only a wet hand right now. Sweaty. It's a little cold. I'm sweaty. That's all you're going to get. Doesn't do nothing, see? Doesn't do a thing. It's clay hands, but I'll tell you what's going to do it. I'll pray with you. I'll pray with you, and I'll tell you right now when that heart says yes, Lord. Yes. Uh-oh. Yes. Let's just sing that song. Some of you might not know. This is a favorite. Hallelujah to God. Saints from Hackettstown sing. Maybe some of you know it. Yes, Lord, yes. I'll say yes. And as he's singing, if God's dealing with you about that call to give it to him, come on up. Raise your hand, and I'll pray with you. God's going to do something for you. Yes, Lord, yes. Hallelujah. That's the message. I will see. Right now, Lord, I will see healing, Lord. I agree with my sister. In Jesus' mighty name, I agree with her. Thank you, Lord. Command, Lord, a word of deliverance. In Jesus' name. Virginia, you've got God's attention now, and that's all you need. Let him deal. Let him work. You've got his attention. You've got his attention. Oh, Lord. Oh, let's sing it out together now. Let's sing it out. Could I be so kind as to, Lord, could you be so kind as to get some water in there for me? Thank you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. My God. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Oh, Father, in Jesus' name, meet my bride. The Holy Ghost says, ask, and you shall receive. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you. Hallelujah. Well, let's sing it now. Yes, Lord, yes. That's music to God saying yes. Hallelujah to God. Thank you. Thank you, my dear brother. That's the meat. That's the meat. I say, that's the meat, the will of God. Yes. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding, for in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. I know it's right. I believe the Lord's speaking that to several people. My sister right there, I believe God's speaking it to you. Right over there, right there, you with the big smile, God is saying that. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path. And He'll answer your prayer. He'll answer the request of your lips. Hallelujah. Savior. Savior. I have another one. Sounds lovely. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He's not done yet. Let's just be patient and wait. Go ahead, brother. Let's sing it out. Hallelujah to God. Lord, in Jesus' name, command deliverance in our midst tonight. Keep singing, Norman. There's somebody here tonight who has said...
