When Mr. Gordon began reading from psalm 116 tonight, I nearly changed my message. You know, that's one of my favorite psalms. I may deal with that on another night. Now, go to psalm number 16, the 16th psalm. Last night we were looking at that wonderful psalm number 84. God's prescriptions are real true. The 84th psalm. We were looking at God's prescriptions. We know that there are the recognition of God, but to receive preeminence and pleasure. Verse 4. The Lord is the poet. I will bless the Lord. My reigns often is dissipation. I have set the Lord. Therefore my heart is full. Thou wilt show me. I want to judge. Opinion. Ask. I was talking with him. He said it meant to engrave. Where are you going, you say? In these you are a fool. Can you truthfully say? He will instruct. Cast on the right side of the ship. And ye shall find. Now, he might have argued like this. But are you going to take him at his word? He knew, beloved, you're not at his word. Now, do you believe that? You see, I'm misunderstood. I'm misjudged. I'm misrepresented. Beloved, it matters to him about you. He knows that. Everything is open to our adorable Lord Jesus. And he sees that burden. He's saying to you. Are you going to argue with him? I don't know what the burden may be. And I don't know about you, beloved. He's a real worrywart. They worry, worry, worry, worry. And if they haven't got anything to worry about. They worry about having. You don't have these people. All in such congenial circumstances. Committed to me. Beloved, argue with him. Is it a personal burden? Friend, whatever it may be. Will you bring it to him right now? He is the answer to your every question. Oh, will you trust him? And John G. Paton, the missionary to the New Heaven. Paton was absolutely exhausted. And one of the native Christians. Free from all anxiety. Free from all worry. Do you believe that? Really? Trust in the Lord and don't despair. He is a friend for true. No matter what your troubles are. Jesus will see you through. Have you called him like this? Yes, time and time again. So tonight you'll look up and say. Indeed. This too. They come down now to this wonderful. He's just absolutely. But you know, after the meeting was all over. He. Yes. And. Just. It changed. But still. We are the boys. I often think of Peter. We had been away in evangelistic camp. In my own. My creation. You see, is it. Is there another Lord in your life? The Lord yourself being authority. Another Lord reigning upon the heart of your life. Is it God? Is it God? My wife. My mother. My father. My children. My home. My job. My money. My home. My garden. My TV. My radio. My automobile. My dog. My sweetheart. Have I mentioned it? Listen. It's just that very thing you're thinking of now. It's just that very person that passed through your mind. That is it. That's coming in between you and the Lord. Robbing him of his rightful place. You wonder why there's no power. You wonder why there's no victory. Please don't go away. the Lord. He's not God at all. He's a wonderful Lord. Isn't He now? In Thee do I put my trust. Thou art my Lord. I have no good beyond Thee. Thou art my everything. The same voice is heard as He addressed the peers. Gentlemen. I present to you. the Lord. Why did you... The Lord is with you. I am an honest man. I have heard them cry, we are not... The tears roll on my shimmily darned. The Lord he waits for your answer. What will that answer be? We are ready. Yes. Ten thousand. Number three. It's a special request for number six. Bring forth a royal dynamite.
