Andrew Strom

Andrew Strom (1967 – N/A) is a New Zealand preacher, author, and revivalist whose ministry has focused on calling the church to repentance and authentic biblical faith for over three decades. Born in New Zealand, specific details about his early life, including his parents and upbringing, are not widely documented, though his writings suggest a conversion experience that ignited a passion for revival. His education appears informal, centered on self-directed biblical study rather than formal theological training, aligning with his emphasis on apostolic simplicity. Strom’s preaching career began in the late 1980s, gaining prominence through founding RevivalSchool.com and the international Revival List in the 1990s, platforms amplifying his fiery sermons on repentance, the cross, and true revival—echoing figures like Leonard Ravenhill and David Wilkerson. Initially involved in the prophetic movement for 11 years, he publicly left in 2008, critiquing its excesses in books like Kundalini Warning and True & False Revival, and instead pursued street preaching and house church advocacy. His ministry, marked by warnings against false spirits and calls for a return to New Testament patterns, has taken him across New Zealand, the U.S., and beyond. Married to Jacqui since around 1987, with whom he has six children, he continues to preach and write.

Sermon Transcription
I pray only God for those of us who are raising our hands before you right now in this room. Glorious God, please let us see and know you greater than we ever have, more than we ever have. Let us see you as Isaiah saw you, our God, where we are not any longer in some kind of parallel universe where all it is is fluff and positive sayings and really nonsense, God. Father, we know that it's not just all love and mercy. We know you're a merciful God, but Father, we want to know all of you, Father. We want the fear of the Lord deeply impacting our hearts so we can know the love of the Lord. Father, we long to know you, oh God. We want to know the real you, Father God. Father, if there is wrath and judgment, Father, we know that there is also mercy and love. Show us your whole self, God. And Father, open our mouth to speak, oh God. We are a people who have stayed silent too long and this nation is falling apart and is in danger of missing the next wave of revival, God. Let it not be so. Raise up prayer warriors. Raise up preachers who will speak truth. Let us be those who open our mouths, oh God. Let us bring forth those five little loaves, God. If that's all we've got, it's all that's needed, Father. Multiply it, God. Let us not be afraid to speak the truth. Let us not be afraid to quote the words of Jesus about these most important things. Make us on fire vessels of your word, Father. Let us bring forth your truth without fear. And God, anoint us. Show us your true gospel. Let us be true gospel preachers, Father God. Let us preach an apostolic gospel. Let us preach the true gospel as it's supposed to be preached, Father God. Let us not live in a false Disney world Christianity anymore. And let America not either, Father. Raise up preachers who will preach the truth in this hour. Let them be heard across the land. Let a great earthquake of truth shake this nation from coast to coast. Bring another great awakening, oh God. A gospel awakening, Father, where we rediscover the true gospel and begin to preach it again. Oh God, show us you as you really are. And let us, instead of running away, draw close to you, God. Bring us close to you, God. God, help us. Help us. Rid us of our modern fables and bring us into truth, Father, we pray. The true Christianity, oh God. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
