In this sermon, the speaker emphasizes the importance of having a perfect heart that desires the Holy Spirit to search and expose the depths of sin within us. Shallow preaching in America today is unable to touch the depths of sin, leading to people continuing in their sinful ways. The speaker encourages listeners to focus on God and trust Him amidst the confusion and chaos of the world. The sermon also highlights the need for convicting messages from God that search the heart and bring about true conviction and transformation.

The perfect tyrant always wants the Holy Spirit to come and search out the depths of the innermost man. To show him all the hidden parts. To investigate and dig out and expose all that is unknown to Jesus Christ. And I want to tell you, shallow sermons can't touch the depths of sin. The shallow preaching in America today will not touch the depths of sin. And that's why people are still singing and shouting. And even some of them praising the Lord and clapping. And putting on a show that they're walking before God. And the depths of sin have never been touched. It's never even been found. It's never even been... It's so far beyond the comprehension of most prophets today. And I'm not putting down ministers. It's just that shallow preaching won't do it. Friday night in a prayer meeting, a precious brother came to me. I believe he's here tonight. He came to me, weeping. Standing right here. And he said, Brother Watson, I left this church a few months ago. Because the preaching was too small. It was not effective. He said it was so few. It was a little too much because there was something he was still holding on to. He left and went to a church where the message was a little smoother. Quite a bit smoother. And went right back to his old church. Went right back to his old place. And came back Friday night. The Spirit of the Lord just came down again Friday night. He convicted. He said, Oh Brother Watson, I've been convicted just in the presence of the Lord. I'm about to stay. But right next to him, right over here was a man in a wheelchair. He and his wife came from many, many miles. In fact, they had to make a special deal in New Jersey. They couldn't afford the hotels here in New York. They went over to New Jersey. Made a special deal with the people there to get a special rate to be here. And he said, We came here because it's been so long since we've heard a convicted message. We are so hungry for something to stay and search the heart. We're just dying to be convicted. Dying to hear a convicted. He said, I can't tell you when the last time is I've heard a convicted message of God. And a cry of the saints all over America. A cry of the church as far as searching and hoping of the Holy Spirit. A convicted word from God. I tell you what, even after all these years we've walked in with God. When I go to the house of God, I want to hear what I hear from this book. I like the word of God to dig down deep into the depths. Because sin goes deep. It's got to be pulled out by its roots. Today, we've got multitudes of Christians who want a blood covenant but not a cleansing. They cry the blood, the blood, the blood. But they don't want to go to the label for the cleansing, the cleansing, the cleansing. Old Testament tabernacle, tent tabernacle is a type of our walk with Christ. Yes, there was an altar. As soon as you walked in to the outer court where the sacrifice was made and the blood covenant was applied. But before you went into the whole place, there was a brazen copper tub, so to speak. A round, there were no descriptions of it. Everything was on a stand. And it was filled with water, pure water. And after the sacrifice, they couldn't go into God's presence. They couldn't go beyond. Right after the covenant of the blood, there had to be a cleansing. Or they could not even meet with God. The priest had to go to that label. And it's in the 30th chapter, you'll see it. It says he washed his hands and his feet. He washed. And he did it. If he did not do it, the Bible said he died. He died. Covered with the blood, he died. He died. Because he would not go to the cleansing. He had to wash his hands and his feet. Then he went into the holy place. Now, there was, first of all, there is a covering. Then there is a cleansing. But that's not all. You've gone into the holy place where you made a commitment. You made a commitment to obey God. There was a light and there was bread there. You committed yourself to the light. And that's the word of God. You committed yourself to the bread. But you're also a type in the word of God. And you didn't go into the final place that God called communion. God made, first, a covering, a cleansing, a commitment, and then finally, communion. And we have people say, well, the veil has been lint and clay. But it wasn't lint to make a back door. It was lint into the holy place. You still had to go through the laver. You had to go through the holy place before you got to the holy presence of God. And we've got people today go to the altar and say, the blood, the blood, the blood. And they go with their hands capless in. They go with all kinds of deepened bread habits. They go with all the things we want clinging to them and say, the veil is wet. God is waiting for them. So they run in with their hands filthy and then covered with blood and say, the blood, the blood, the blood. They've not been to the laver. The word is the laver. The word of the name of God that comes and searches by the Holy Ghost. I'm running again. Very good. I'll tell you what. The modern gospel in a nutshell is this. Just go to the altar and by faith trust the blood that was shed there. Now the door will be wide open to the holy of holies. The veil's been lit. God loves you. He's waiting. He sees only Jesus in you. I'm telling you, you go to the altar. Yes, you get the cleansing. You get the covenant of blood. But then you go right to the laver. You go to that cup of water. And you put your hands down there. And that's what preaching like this is all about. To bring a cleansing. The blood not only covers, it cleanses. We've got a lot of Christians that have been cleansed. Now they think they can bypass the washing of the word. They must pass all the commitments of the holy place. And with all the sin at hand say, I'm the righteousness of Jesus. How do they raise up dirty filthy hands and a heart full of lust and say, I am the righteousness of Jesus. The devil doesn't even believe that. Your friends don't believe it and you want God to believe that. There's not been a cleansing of the blood. There's not been a cleansing of the blood. Oh, I'll tell you what. I'll take you a little further into this. We have people who quote, or misquote, or half-quote, 1 John 1 sermon. And the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin. Now, that's fine. That's like saying all things work together for good. To them who love God, they are called according to his purpose. We forget the rest of it. And we have people going around in fact, whole sermons of priests. And the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin. Read the rest of it. It says this. If we say we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all sin. If we walk in the light as he is in the light. You know, some Christians want nothing more than cover. They want security. They are not interested in communion. They are not interested in going into the holy place. They are not interested in saying, oh Jesus, I want to be like you. They just want a ticket to heaven. No cross, no pain, no suffering. They just want to say, I am covered. That is about the limit of the gospel. And the majority of our American churches today, they are blood covered. Nothing about blood wash. Nothing about blood commitment. Nothing about walking into the holy place. Nothing about the glory of communion with Jesus. And the ultimate purpose of this whole thing is to be able to come into the presence of God. And enjoy the fellowship of Jesus. Hallelujah. Do you want that fellowship? We hear people say today, we don't need to be searched. That is all under the blood anyhow. All this digging and searching out sin is only bringing condemnation and guilt to the church. And I want you to know, David had a perfect heart. The scripture says that he cries out, search me oh God. Jesus in Revelation 2.23, he comes to the church and this is what he says. That all the churches shall know that I am he who searches the ways and the hearts. And I will give everyone according to your works. He is addressing the church. And Jesus cries and he says that all the church may know that I have come to search you out. The searchings are not vindictive. They are redemptive. It is not that Jesus, that the Holy Ghost comes to search us to say, ha ha I caught you. It is not the Holy Ghost tiptoes on us. And spies on us. And just waits to say, I knew it was in you if I waited long enough I would catch you at the act. No, no, no, no, no. That is not the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is to shine his light. The Lord said that every dark corner, every dark corner, everything is God to prepare us for communion, blessing, communion with the Lord. He shall stand in his holy place. He that hath clean hands and a pure heart, he shall receive the blessing from the Lord. Alright. The second characteristic of a pure heart is that it is trusting. First of all it is searchable. Secondly it is trusting. Now God showed me something about trust that I had never seen before. The psalmist wrote, our fathers trusted in thee, O God. They trusted and you delivered them. They cried to you and they were delivered. They trusted in you and they were never confounded. And over and again you will hear David say, I put my trust in the Lord. Oh my God I trust in thee. Oh I trust you, I trust you, I trust you. And the Hebrew word for that is a, in fact it is a word description, to free oneself off a precipice. I used to play that Freeman game I told you with my children and my grandson. I would set them on a table and say, jump. And you know they'd linger there for a while and I said, I won't let you go, I'll be there. And I never once walked away when they jumped. I was always there to catch them. And you see that seems to be the limit of our concept of trust. That we're on the edge, we're on the brink. And the Lord says, go ahead, jump. And we picture faith and trust as that they'll be there to pick us up. And some of you are on that precipice right now. You have come to a place that you're right on the edge, you're tottering. And you have no other option but to fling yourself right out on the mercy and trust of God. What am I going to do? I have to just trust. I've got to just fling myself out on your mercy. But that is not the highest definition of trust. There's something so much deeper than that. You see, some people just resigned. They've just given up, it's a kind of fatalism. It's not trust, it's numbness, they're just numb. They're scared and they're numb. No, that's not trust. That's not the perfect child. You see what's happened, we've made the Lord some kind of a cosmic fire company. A rescue company, with an ambulance. And the devil comes and sets our house on fire, way up on that flat roof. And it looks like everything's going to be burned up, there's smoke everywhere. And we're yelling, oh Jesus, oh! And we picture Jesus as the fire captain, who plans fires. And he's got this big net, and he's got all his angels, his firemen there. And the man says, Jim! And we jump! And that's supposed to be faith. Because we jump and he rescues us from the fire. And we put our hands together and say, thank you Lord, I believe you were faithful. And we go ahead and say, Lord, you burned my house down. Let me tell you something. We have made the devil the cause, and Christ the reactor. Now, think about it for just a minute. I'm telling you now, I'm going to make a statement that if you listen, you'll never understand trust. God never reacts to anything the devil does. Never. He is the initiator of all activity that has anything to do with your life and mine if we're walking in faith with him. If we're walking in righteousness and faith with the Lord, he's not reactive. God's never caught by surprise, never. You see, we have limited our trust to kind of a rescue operation. As if to say, Lord, I trust you to come, put out all my fires, all that the devil's put on me, all my troubles. Just be there, Lord, when I need you. And we have credited the devil with being the cause of all our trouble, all our sorrow, all of our suffering, all of our testing. As if everything that's happened to our life, everything that's going on, that's not according to our thoughts, that seems to be discomforting, the devil's done it to me. I want you to listen, God's really been speaking to my heart. If you are in a true walk with Jesus, you are not the devil's punching bag. Amen, amen. I went to make a manuscript with Stephen Scrooge. The devil has no free access to harass those who are walking in the righteousness of Christ. He has no free access. Listen to me, what kind of a father would I be? If I allowed, I went out in the street and I placed my little child, my little child, out in the street. And there's free access to every rapist, every murderer. I just walked away and said, I'm going to test you to see how much strength you have. What kind of father would I be if I saw something in my child, I just let go. I laid that child down in a snake pit. The devil's a serpent, his demon powers are snakes, they're serpents. And we have this idea that somehow God, our precious Heavenly Father, lays us down and allows us to become a prey to the devil. Any predator, any enemy, any demon force. And we have Christians who said, nobody, saying, every time I turn around the devil is doing this to me, he's doing that to me. The devil is a finger. I'm not taking anything away from that. But I want you to know that God would not allow the devil to touch Job without permission. He couldn't do it until he removed the man around Job and he gave the parameters and he said, this way and that way. You can not kill him. And even then it was to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Paul, there was two occasions, tried to go to Thessalonica. And he said, Satan hindered us. Satan hindered us. But there was a purpose to it all. Later on you'll hear Paul say of the Thessalonians, you're our crown of joy. You're our crown of rejoicing before the Lord. God had done such a work there. God was raising up an indigenous church. God was doing something very, very special. Jesus was led of the spirit to be tempted of the devil. But there was never a time that God was not in control. There was never a moment when Jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. That God wasn't absolutely in control of the situation. Christ revealed himself to Paul as one who opened his eyes to turn from darkness to light. And from the power of Satan under God. There was a messenger of Satan sent to buffet Paul. But Paul said that there was a purpose to it. There was a divine purpose. And God allowed that enemy to come and buffet him for one reason. Because Paul had received such great revelation of who Jesus was. He'd been in the third heaven and said, let my heart be lifted up in pride. And everything had passed away. There was a purpose to it. The trusting heart says, all my steps are ordered by the Lord. Not the devil. My steps are ordered by the Lord. Amen. Folks, in these last days, we cannot give the devil the credit for initiating all the activities in our life. That's to demean the great grace and mercy of the loving Heavenly Father. The devil comes because we give him place in our hearts. He comes because we will not allow the Holy Spirit to search us out. We allow him. It's a different thing when my children grow up. And their teenagers may know better. And they go out. And they will not listen to my directions. I say, don't go into that area. Don't run with drug addicts. Don't do this. Don't do that. And they run and break my window. They open themselves to all kinds of hell. It's just like Christians who have been harassed by the devil. It's because they have disobeyed the word of God. It's because they have given place to the enemy. But He's my loving Father. He commits suffering. He commits trials. But never, never, He can bear. He said He will, with the temptation, make a way of escape for me. Maybe in the bed. He makes a way of escape for all things. He has an eternal plan and purpose for me. He's numbered every hair on my head. He numbered the very body parts every cell when I was in my mother's womb. Now you stop and think about that for just a minute. Do you conceive a heavenly Father who's numbered the very hairs on your head? Who calls you the apple of His eye? Who said I'll never leave you, never forsake you, go to the end of the world with you? Who numbered your very body parts before you were born? He knows when you sit, He even said when you stand and when you lay down. He said He's numbered not only your life, but every event that touches you. I'm telling you now, God has everything under control. Listen, close to me please. There is something crystal and turning and burning in my heart for myself. The Lord is saying, demon, get your eyes off the devil now. Yes, he's coming down, he has great power. His army is everywhere, but we need to get our eyes on Jesus. All I hear are people talking about a present darkness. I'm talking about the glory and the light of Jesus Christ that shines in this darkness. We're not to get our eyes on the darkness. We're not to get focused on demons or devils. We're focused on the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ who delivers His children from the power of darkness. We're not admitted as devices. We've got to say, God, my God has everything under control. If there's something in my life, God has an internal purpose in it. I've not just been thrown out and let the devil abuse me. God has an internal purpose for all the things that I'm going through in my life right now. I've got to be able to back off and say, Lord, I don't understand it. I can't figure it out. But you have a reason for it. You've got a reason. You're still in control. Brother, sister, you love the Lord and you're walking before Him in faith. Your life is not spinning out of control. If you're just laid back and say, Jesus, you are the initiator. You're not reacting. You're in control. You're in control. Can you look at the face of unemployment? Can you look at the face of suffering and even death and say, God, I know you're in control? Can you look in the face of cancer? Can you look in the face of everything else that's going on and say, Lord, I can't figure it out. I'm not even going to try to. But I'm going to look at your face and say, I'm your child. You're my father. I'm going to trust you. But somehow out of this, you'll hold me. You'll study me. I'm going to come out, Lord Jesus, with a piece of bread in my heart. But come a time, you may not understand all this now, but come a time I ask you to go get a tape and play it again and you'll understand what I'm saying. For you, for me, for anyone, it may be a year from now, it may be I don't know how long. But these words are going to come as a comfort to many of you right now. They'll be repeated in your heart. It's a word of prophetic word. Listen closely. God knows what he's doing. He has a divine purpose for every one of our lives. God just doesn't dictate our lives one day at a time. We live one day at a time. But God has an everlasting purpose. Let it come to you before you are born. Hallelujah. All you have to do is trust your life to him. It is an act of simple, active faith. Say, Jesus, I commit it all to you. Hallelujah. The devil cannot thwart the plan of God. Unless I allow him to, unless I walk in disobedience before God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And finally, the perfect heart's a broken heart. Boy, I thought I knew what brokenness was. Because I thought I'd experienced a lot of it until the Holy Spirit came and opened my eyes and showed me I didn't know much about it at all. David said, The Lord is now unto them that are of a broken heart, and say this such as be of the contrite or crushed spirit. Also, David said, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart of God that will not despair. When you go to Psalm 51, I want you to see it. This is after the prophet Nathan came to David and exposed him for adultery and murder. And David's repenting. Psalm 51. And I want you to look at two verses. Now, this verse, Psalm 51, verse 17, is really the foundation scripture used every time a minister of the gospel preaches on brokenness. Mostly, we go to this scripture. I'll read it to you again, verse 17, Psalm 51. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart of God thou will not despise. Now, look at me, please. Beloved, I believe I have a very simple revelation from the Lord which rests my heart about brokenness. See, brokenness is not just a weeping spirit. There are many people that weep and weep over their sins, they weep over their weaknesses, they weep over lost souls, they weep over the world, but they've still not been broken. It goes much deeper than that. It's more than a cusp, it's more than humility alone. Many may be forgotten, they've grown and grown, but they've never been broken. There's something about this that goes far beyond anything we'd be willing to deal with in our hearts yet. True brokenness, when it really comes, God's way, is a release of power in a man, the greatest power that God can give to a human being. I believe the power that's released when you come into true brokenness is greater than the power to raise the dead. It's greater than the power to heal the sick and the diseased. There is a power, God began to speak to my heart, that there is a power that can bring forth glory in these last days, not to man, but to his name. There's beyond healing, there's beyond raising the dead. There is a power that's released within us when we have come to the point of true brokenness before God. I'm asking God, Lord said, I'm going to show it to you, David, so you can seek after it. I've not arrived, but I see it, and I'm going, like God said this morning, I'm going after it. I'm going after it. I want to ask the Holy Spirit to try to make it simple. The Spirit said, David, I'm going to show it to you, so that you will have the power to do it. I want you to look very closely at this scripture with me now. All brokenness has to do with walls. Look at verse 18. Do good, and by good praise and design, build thou the walls of Jerusalem. These two scriptures cannot stand alone, they go together. It has to do with brokenness. Brokenness has to do with ruined walls. Now, I'm going to show you the true brokenhearted man. Let's go to Nehemiah. Turn left, please. To Nehemiah. I'm going to show you the true brokenhearted man. Nehemiah, the second chapter. Now, I'm not a Bible teacher. I'm an evangelist. I'm not trying to teach you some new great revelation. This is an evangelistic truth that's burning a fire in my heart. I've just seen something that I want to get a hold of. And I hope, in praise of the Holy Spirit, to show it to you in just a moment of your lives. You see, these two things go together. A broken heart, build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Nehemiah 2, verse 13. Some of you are going to catch it. And I went out, verse 13. I went out, this is Nehemiah. I went out by night, by the gate of the valley, even before the driving well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire. Verse 15. Then went I up, then went I up by night, in the night, by the brook, and viewed the wall, and turned back early by the gate of the valley, and said in turn. Now, there's a phrase in both of those verses. I viewed the wall. Now listen to me, please. The word brokenness, used in Psalms 51, 17, is a Hebrew word, Shabbat. And it's the same Hebrew word as used here, viewed the walls. Same word. And I said, now what does that mean? And it began to come into my heart. Nehemiah, you would think he was broken in Shushan at the palace, when he heard about the walls of Jerusalem broken down, because he said he sat down, and he wept, and he mourned certain days, and he fasted, and he prayed before God in heaven. You'd say, that's a broken heart. Somebody weeping, mourning, fasting, praying before God. That's what we've conceived up to this time. At least I have as a broken heart, someone who can lay before God, and he mourns, and he grieves over his sin, and fasts, and he prays, and cries, and weeps in tender. But that was only half a broken heart. He didn't get his broken heart in the palace of Shushan. He could have stayed there the rest of his lifetime in Jerusalem. He could have stayed right there, and had crying scars the rest of his life, and never been broken. He could have fasted the rest of his life, and never been broken. That is not a broken heart. That's the beginning of a broken heart. That's the foundation of a broken heart. He would not have had a broken heart until he went out and looked at the ruins. He had removed himself from the palace, and he went out, in fact, the ruins spread everywhere. There's a man come to seek the well-formed policemen. Every man came. Now listen, when the 42,000 had returned, and they saw the ruins, not one man was moved by it. Nobody was moved by the ruins. They saw they were willing to live in the midst of garbage. They were willing to live in the midst of the ruin all around them. But one man, one man, is the heartbeat of God. Let me tell you that brokenness comes in two parts. First of all, it's the weeping. It's the brokenness of seeing sins in the eyes of God. It's saying, this should not be. Because we admire God on a donkey. In the middle of the night, when he walked, he went around the outside of that city. And he looked at the broken wall. He said, He weaved the walls, and that burden he brought, it broke his heart. It was shattered by it. He said, this shouldn't be. In fact, because he was a Jew, and what it did to him as a Jew, he had a vision from God. He said, the enemies of God are laughing. This is not the testimony. This is not the way things should be. And brokenness has with it a spirit called hope. That's the other side of brokenness. And you can't have the shaman without the hope and be truly broken. Because when he looked at that wall, in fact, the word brokenness, Shabbat means hope for repair. Hope for repair. He was broken. He was weeping. But inside, his heart was bursting with the joy, because he had a promise from God. Those walls are going back up. Brother, sister. Three years ago. Started four years ago. I started walking these streets with the name brokenness in my heart. Weeping. Walking 42nd street. I used to have. I would go to Paschalus Theater right down Broadway. And I would stay some time from mid of the night right down at Piccadilly Island there. And just weep and cry. And mourn and groan in the center of the city. And then home. And begin to weep and cry over the city. And pray and seek the face of God. I could still be there. Weeping and crying. And I would not have a broken heart for no luck. I would not have God's broken heart. I came. I saw the rose. God came. Pleased on the street. Saw the rose. But that was not enough. God had me implanted in the heart of hope. That in the middle of this world the wall could be rebuilt. And God could raise up the church sanctified in hell. Here in the middle of this hell. Brokenness is not just what you feel. It's what you do. You commit yourself. Your money. Your time. Your life. You make a commitment. You commit. We are just now entering into the spirit of brokenness. As we see God rebuilding walls. As we see the things coming together. But you know the body is made up of individuals. Who like David stand in the way of their own heart. And they look at the Lord inside their own heart. The Holy Ghost searches deep. He causes you to view what He sees. He says, look, look. Are you going to deal with that unforgiving spirit? Are you going to deal with that hatred, that bitterness? Are you going to deal with these things that I show you? But He said, I want you to just weep about it. I want you to get a hold of the hope. I want you to get a hold of the faith and the confidence in me. That we can change. That we don't have to be like you are. Glory be to God. I lift you right in the eye and tell you, I'm changing. I have not arrived. I'm so far from attaining yet. I can say far, I'm not going to attain. But I'm pressing on toward the mark. And I know, I know I can change. And God is changing me. And the devil wants you to walk around the world and say, there's too much hopelessness, there's too much garbage. But I want to tell you something, and this will get you far close tonight. If you really want a perfect heart before God, yes, there's that crime, there's that mourning, there's that grief, that sorrow for sin. But let the Holy Ghost get a hold of your heart right now and say, Lord, I believe you do have everything that He can show. I do believe that you love me. And you can walk around your walls. You can walk around your heart. There still may be some rubbish. There still may be some dust found around and some bricks laid around that need to be put in place. But you can know, brother or sister, you can know that God's put a sign everywhere, everywhere, place. God at work, enemies beware. God at work. God's working on us. God's at work. Hallelujah. And in the meantime, we're not only covered, we're under the cleansing. I'll tell you what, that priest had to go to that cleansing labor every time he walked in. It was not a one-time affair. Every time he walked in, he went to that labor and washed. Jesus said, you don't wash your body, wash your feet. That means dig down. Get a hold of it right before God and believe that He's repairing the world. Hallelujah. Are you being repaired tonight? You know He can repair that brokenness in you. He can repair. I don't care what it is. I don't care how deep it is. There's no depth of sin that the Holy Ghost can't reach. Hallelujah. I'll tell you what, the Holy Ghost night is so hot, it sears and burns. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. There's a searing, searching burn in the Holy Ghost coming on day to day. I don't know what it has for us Tuesday night. Let's unwrap and close it. This is my last word for you right now. Daniel, when he came into the presence of the Holy God, he said, there is no strength in me for my strength has turned into me to corruption and ruin. And I retain no strength at all. Lately, I've known what that is. I've known what it is to say, Lord, even my abilities have been shattered. All the good things shattered. And because I feel oftentimes so helpless because I've seen your glory and sometimes it seems it can't even, it's so far beyond us. We don't reach it by any of our strength. We don't reach it by our own works alone. We get that by our faith in what Jesus did at the sacrifice. The blood that was shed, the blood that covered, the blood that cleansed, is the blood that gives me strength. But that strength can't come and tell you, lay like Daniel before the Lord. You lay, I don't mean physically, but in the spirit you just lay out saying, Lord, I'm in ruins, I'm in war. My strength is gone. My strength is ruined. I can't do anything without you. Then he said, my strength is known perfect in you, Lord, so witness, hallelujah. He comes along and he begins to flow through us and then it's not human ability, it's not human effort, it's something divine. We've touched something of the glory of Jesus, hallelujah. Beloved, we're touching something of the glory of Jesus lately here at this church. I agree with Pastor Bob, as he preached this morning. He's taking us on. Are you ready to go with us if you want that cleansing of your heart? In this day and age. Lord Jesus, send the Holy Ghost in a powerful way right now to search us out. He said, search me, O God, try me, see if you can do a wicked will. And that was a righteous man who showed that. Lord Jesus, we trust in the work that you've done at the cross. We trust the power of your blood. But Lord, we seek more than just covering. We seek commitment, cleansing, and communion. Lord, we want it all. We want to see your face. We want to touch your glory. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. The Holy Spirit has put something in my heart just now as I was praying for the invitation right now. You see, if Nehemiah and that donkey went around those walls and saw those gates there rubbish, looked so hopeless, looked so helpless. That could destroy somebody who didn't have hope. If he had had hope, what a trip that would have been. He would have thrown up his hands and said, it's hopeless. No way. Can't be done. But oh, there was something bursting in his heart. Because he knew God was about to do something. Because real brokenness has this in it, rise up and build. Rise up and build. I'm coming to you now with an invitation for those who have sensed hopelessness. You looked at yourself and you said, it just looks impossible. I don't know how it can ever be done. There's so much garbage. There's so much ruin. You've been discouraged in other words. You've been downcast about the lack of victory in your life. I've never made an invitation like this. But I feel it so strong right now. I know, believing in the Holy Spirit, up in the balcony here on the main floor, said, baby David, I've been discouraged. I've made it so difficult and I've seen such difficulty up ahead of me. It just has robbed me of my hope. I feel so hopeless sometimes. I feel so weak and downcast and discouraged because I just don't feel I'm going to make it. God has everything under control. God's at work. That's a good place to be but it's a terrible place if you don't have hope. I'm going to ask God to bring you down here and baptize you with hope. Hallelujah. And say, God, you're changing me. Let's not compete but you've been done it with. You've done a good work with me. I'm going to thank you for that and I'm going all the way. Come on. Right now. You feel up in the balcony. Come down any stairs, come down any aisle and join these that are coming. Hallelujah. Please hold steady. Hold steady. Just a minute, please. Just hold steady. I feel that the Holy Spirit is speaking in such a deep, deep way right now. Why don't you just hold steady. Hold steady, please, brother. I said, hold steady. The Holy Spirit's directed me and not sending the Spirit. The Holy Spirit's saying, just waiting for the conviction right now. The right way, it is that. Just a minute. Just hold steady. We're waiting for the Holy Ghost timing. Just Holy Ghost timing. If you'll just hold steady. There's conviction. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, I'm asking you now to find the new heart. Seek and search it out. Search and seek us in your love. Hallelujah. Lord, we believe and trust you. We stand to eat. If you're here tonight, your heart is cold and back-spinning. You're not walking with Jesus. Why don't you come with these? Maybe you're already here, but many of you are still here in the audience. As I sing that one more time you feel that tugger pull the Holy Spirit don't resist him or obey the Holy Spirit now This is the last of the case that you hear you need Christ You need to come back to his love if you've ever known him you've slipped away from his love Come and receive now you feel the Holy Ghost the Holy Spirit drawing you come and obey him now, please I May be very Since hopelessness because either children or a married situation or a home situation with parents I don't know. What is the root cause of your hopelessness, but I'll tell you what It's it's hard enough in this day and age to walk The path that we should walk without having If you've got fear, it's hope it is hopeless if there's fear in your heart, you don't have the blessed hope that God Has everything under control that God's at work in your life. No matter what you see God is at work If you're reaching out to him, I want you to ask the Lord with me tonight to instill in your heart a seed of faith of confidence of hope Right now I'll tell you the Lord's not forgotten. He knows right where you're at He knows your address He said there's not a thought in your mind, but he doesn't know If he knows any thought numbered every hair He said another spell falls to the ground without his knowledge You think he's gonna forsake you and me never? Would you reach out? Would you just lift up the bowels and our men everywhere? Lift up your hands the Lord right now Would you commit yourself to say Lord? I trust tell him right now. I trust you tonight Forgive and cleanse me Put a hope in me Jesus Now just talk to him out of your heart and tell him what's inside so Lord I want that hope I'm gonna trust you Right now claim that hope Jesus put your hope in me. I trust you with all my heart right now To fill me Lord with your Holy Spirit of hope and faith and confidence in Jesus Lord right now I thank you Lord. I praise you Jesus Hallelujah Look at me do you believe the Holy Spirit is here right now to deliver you from the power of the enemy To take that Spirit of hopelessness and bind it and cast it away. We're gonna believe God for that right now Lord We stand by faith in Jesus name against every spirit of despondency and fear and hopelessness God has everything under control Lord we're going to commit ourselves to that put a confidence Put a confidence I've got confidence and that's going to see me through hallelujah. I've got confidence the Lord is going to see me through Lord, I want you to cleanse tonight dig deep and cleanse us I want to ask you to put your hands together you that came forward Has the Holy Spirit put his? Search light on you and showing you something in your life. It needs to be dug out and given up and cast aside Into his sea of forgetfulness. How many have something you need to lay down? You don't tell me you have something you need to lay down do it tonight lay it down make that commitment by faith right now father Take every Everything that we commit to you right now receive it Destroyed the very roots pluck the very roots of sin out of us pluck it out Jesus Lord We thank you for the coming of the blood We want the roots plucked up and we want the cleansing We want the cleansing of the blood cleanse Lord and sanctify by your spirit Look this way, please How many of you that are standing up came forward up here for the first time in this church? You've never come before raise your hand, please Either here for the first time we'd like to go to the prayer room so we could minister to you one-on-one We don't sign anything. We'd like to just talk with you pray with you. We're not selling your bill of goods We just like to continue to minister more Privately and individually as we go this way right to that exit sign and their ushers are showing where to go all those for the first time Young people where you're from What you talk chances what group are you with? Street of teens and young. Yes, and you want to go deeper You tend to be in the church Let's pray for 12 and Lord send the Holy Spirit minister life Compromised with gold, but they'd be a pure hearted group that walk out of a 12 young people on fire for Jesus A heart that's searched a search in their heart. God do it tonight Lord touch every one of them You can follow those that are going down if you so choose the Lord bless you any others in here for the first time We need all of our counselors, please all of our counselors We probably need a few from the choir also if you if you will, please there glory be to Jesus I Love it Would you if you look for the first time? I'd ask you please this cup reminds me that took off better here If anyone is in the church Begging or ask for money, please don't give money send them To one of the officers they'll get to us. We have a plan. We have a way we feed and usually I Please don't give money. For example two Sundays ago a man came in and Right in the back here. He said I Very nicely dressed very talented. He said my wife's just had an accident stat line I'd like to get on the girls on a bridge and she's been rushed to a hospital need twelve dollars cab to get there quick I said sir, if you just stand here, let's name your husband. He'd run off the hospital name I said I'll call the hospital right now and Find out if she's there and I'll give you the $12. I went around and watch them. He's right at the door You see there's wisdom God's given the people here that have sleep wise so please I'm just saying that that helps us so much because if the word gets out the world easy touch so we just get swamped we get swamped and Nine out of ten you spend it on crack and you can kill somebody if you give somebody five dollars you kill them So, please He did if you were you're gonna hit love right now You believe the Lord's touching you Would you move closer? I was going to dismiss. I think I want you to move a little closer Not that there's more fire up here. It's just that you see me so spread out Can I pray one more time for you that up here right now? That the Lord put it in your heart as you go home tonight To Come more often to the neighbor. This is the neighbor. This is where you get lost. It's the sprinkling of the word Jesus said you're cleansed by the word. He said that to his disciples. You're cleansed by my word And the reason some of us are having battle with demons and devils and everything else is because we have not come We don't have the strength. We don't have the discernment because we're not into the Word of God Baptize yourself in this get it this this book of yours should be worn You talk you look at any one of these past you'll find every page mark you'll find it It's the very soul. It's very life. That's where the strength comes from Don't sit in front of it and get this out and start baptizing yourself I Come for cleansing and trust him for the cleansing You don't you don't have to look for some feeling trust him for the cleansing right now When the Lord says he sees your heart open how about Lord? I pray that you put it in the hearts of these are standing here now to get into the Word of God for the cleansing the cleansing of the soul Hands and pure hearts Let you return to your seats There'll be to God return your seats if you will and now folks to tell what we want to do We'd like to remain standing for a time of worship and praise Will be to God it's time to rejoice in the Lord Do you have the joy of the Lord in your heart? I Want to rejoice I want to get happy. I am happy. I want to express my happiness I want you to get your your clapping hands Your clapping hands, and we're going to rejoice in the Lord and be glad Hallelujah for all the good things that he's done.
