Revival
Johan vd Westhuysen

Johan van der Westhuysen (1971–) is a South African preacher and evangelist within the Assemblies of God, known for his passionate preaching on spiritual transformation and the power of Christ’s presence, with a ministry that has reached audiences globally. Born in South Africa, he grew up in a context that led him from a successful career as a businessman—owning a small mining-supply company—to a radical faith shift after accepting Christ through the sinner’s prayer. This turning point, which saved his 17-year marriage from near collapse, prompted him to abandon his business, attend Bible school, and dedicate his life to ministry alongside his wife. His early life details remain sparse, but his conversion story, often shared in sermons, underscores a dramatic shift from worldly pursuits to a calling rooted in revival and outreach. Van der Westhuysen’s ministry gained prominence through his international travels, preaching in countries like Malaysia, where he spoke at churches such as Oasis Church in Ara Damansara (2014) and Faith Oasis Fellowship (2014), emphasizing foundational faith and the Holy Spirit’s fire. His messages—drawing from passages like John 9 and Matthew 24—focus on Christ as the light exposing sin, the necessity of personal transformation, and perseverance amid end-times challenges. A father who endured the loss of his 23-year-old son in an accident, he weaves personal testimony into his teaching, reinforcing hope in eternal glory. As of 2025, he continues to minister worldwide, leaving a legacy as a fervent evangelist whose life reflects the redemptive power he proclaims.

believer, not just as an evangelist or a missionary or a preacher or whatever, but as a believer. And it came so strong to my mind. Revival. So I sat down, I prayed about it, and I got a vision statement, because I believe that's the in thing. You must have a vision statement. Now, mine will in no way pass, I think, the modern church's requirement, because my vision statement is simply this, a national spiritual revival. Food stopped. And if I can qualify that, the kind of revival that will lead to a true repentance and sorrow over sin, kind of a revival that will destroy the power of sin in a Christian's life, and worldliness. A kind of revival that will generate a desire to be obedient, to be obedient to God's word. A kind of revival that will fire on a holy, holy ghost fire. I want to go back to the roots. Holy ghost fire sounds more powerful to me than a holy spirit revival. But you know what I mean, that's just me. With the result, with the result, that sinners will come to salvation. But it must start in the church. It has to. Because we talk about revival. And there cannot be revival unless you've been vived. My English. But I'm sure you understand what I mean. Revivals for the church. And then the guy went on, he said, you must have a mission. Which is true. If we only have vision, it's like having, you know, building sandcastles or Loch Castilla. And we start even painting them and feel good about them. We must have a mission. And my mission is to be part of that revival in my minute area where I operate. That I will do everything possible to promote the revival wherever God sends me. Through prayer for revival. Because there cannot and will not be revival without prayer. God is sovereign. He can bypass that. But it's not the normal thing. And then also to do my little thing wherever I have the opportunity to preach. To preach the gospel with convincing, convicting power. And honestly, my prayer is for revival. Like in the days of Finney or maybe Jonathan Edwards. While he was still preaching, people would fall to the ground confessing their sins. Turning to God. My mission for my vision and my mission. And it's amazing. You know, throughout my 20 plus years serving the Lord, I've often read about revival. Then I will pray a little bit about revival. But next day I forgot about revival. I wake up at night. This morning I woke up with a nightmare. I was dreaming I forgot my notes and I'm preaching here today. And I was searching for my notes and the time passed and eventually the people left. I was still searching for them. What a nightmare for a pastor, for a preacher. But anyway. But in that process, revival. Praying for the Spirit to come. Which I did. So it's like dominating my mind and my heart. For various reasons. And I don't think we have to detail these reasons. We're all intelligent and we understand what's going on in the world. We understand and we cannot be blind for what is going on in the churches. We need a revival. We were praying in the car. Forgive me, it's a testimony so I can say about that. We were praying in the car and I started praying for our country. And suddenly a sorrow came upon my heart like I never had for South Africa before. I just kept quiet and in I went on praying. We need revival. And I have prepared in Afrikaans, though my scriptures are all in Afrikaans. And Andrew, you will have to translate the scriptures if you don't mind, because maybe I can remember them, but we will try. Psalm 85.7, actually our scripture for the morning. Won't you revive us again, O Lord, that we will rejoice in you? John 7, 38. And on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and said, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. He that believeth in me, as the scriptures say, flowing water shall flow out from the inside. And that is what he said of the spirit that he would receive that believeth in him. For the Holy Spirit was not yet there, for Jesus was not yet drunk with wine, in which is a lot of dissipation, but be continuously filled with the Holy Spirit. That, my friends, Christian life, normal Christian life. Somebody say enough amen. Psalm 85.7, Psalm 42.2. And then again, just as a reminder, Psalm 85.7, will you not revive us again, O Lord, so that we can rejoice in you? From the superstars to the charismaniacs. And God gave us the wonderful ability to adopt. Because I have learned one thing, that most of those people love Jesus Christ. We may not do it all the same way, but they love Jesus Christ. And of course, we look at the fruit in their lives. And in our lives, of course, always. So, the answer to them, is, I am so thirsty for you, O God. I don't know if many of you are preachers, but while I am preparing, and usually a preacher always looks for a confirmation, a confirmation of the Word. And I think, and I know, it was on a Tuesday, I have to talk about this message today, about this verse. And I take a Bible on my right, which I have never made, I don't believe it anymore. Someone gave it to me, and it's one of the modern translations, and it's not that bad, it's not. So I take the Bible, just to see, what does it say about this verse? And there is a piece of paper that stands out. The inscription, Why do we need revival? Nine points. I say, wow, thank you Jesus. You just confirmed for me the whole thing, that I am going to prepare in this word. I don't know when you preach, but then you come Sunday morning, or Saturday morning, and then you think, yes, I can preach this word. Then you go into your archives, and then you look for something to preach. But boy, the Holy Spirit has taken you, and then you go to heaven, because you have wasted a lot of time, to get out of the message again, that He has given you. I don't know if it's something to do with you, but that's how my husband works with me, and if it's not with you, then it's not for my prayer anymore, please. So we get this confirmation, and I want to read a lot of these nine things, which are on this letter, even in Afrikaans. I just scanned it, and then typed it here. It's now for your tongue to get out of your mouth. When do we need revival? When do I choose to work, rather than to offer? Almost. When it is easier to criticize than to love. When novel literature, I think this is very old, because there should also be a TV show on it, when novel literature has more appeal than the Bible. When I have God-given opportunities for me, rather than to do it. When the club gets more financial support from me than the church. You know the story of the 200 Rantnoord and the 10 Rantnoord, no? 10 Rantnoord asks for the 200 Rantnoord, where were you? I haven't seen you in a long time. He says, I was here, I was in Paris, and wandered around, and saw all these wonderful things, and went on a boat trip, and how, man, I had a terrible, wonderful two months. And where were you 10 Rant? Ah, as you know, church, church, church, church. And that's how it goes, man. And then he says, because it is easier to sleep in the church, than to stay awake. Because it gives more pleasure to boast than to praise. Because it is easier to condemn souls, than to pray for their salvation. Because it is easier to kiss a rock, than to forgive. Then we need a revival. But I can tell you, there is a very long list, different long lists, which put together revivalists over the centuries, and which was appropriate for their own time, I believe. I have added a few of my own, when television is more attractive than the coming together of the saints. When the secular, when we are so busy with the secular, that we don't have more time for the spiritual. And that is a great Western admonition. I am so busy with the things of the Lord. And he is right, because he is right. People can never be too busy with the things of the Lord. When I think I have nothing to do with it, and I approach it with ease. When souls do not enter the body of Christ. When the first love has left, in this Matthew 24, verse 12, and because the iniquity is increased, the love of the Lord will cool. And then one or two, which I want to elaborate a little more on. When our coming together is hidden from a spirit-filled freedom, to an academic stiffness. That's why I don't want to speak in English, because I can't translate it well in English. Can I say it again? When a spirit-filled freedom shifts or shifts to an academic stiffness. No longer Jesus-focused services, which are absolutely guarded, mastered and accompanied But formulated services, which are not kept up by the Holy Spirit. I want to tell you, we will never get a chance in our lives, as long as our God does not limit us to the Holy Spirit. We have an invention for that. In our own life. In places where we serve, where the service lasts four hours, even five hours, the Spirit of God comes down with power. Because we give Him the opportunity to work, to do what He wants to do. When there is a glimpse of the speech in languages and all our punctuality, and I don't speak the nominational, when there is a glimpse of this miraculous goodness, even I have heard that the speech of languages is ancient. Jesus helps us. The Word of God must not prevent that there must be spoken in languages. When the Word of God is spoken, and it is spoken, it is inspired by knowledge instead of inspired by the Holy Spirit. Last week we met a preacher here in the old church with us, and he speaks directly from the new African High Word Book. So much so that I didn't even go to the kitchen. I picked up those African words and I translated them. I went back to see where they were in words, because usually those big African words are translated into English. I think I was speaking of the Beatitudes. The Beatitudes. Jesus helps us. I said to this person later on, I said, how do you speak like that? Yes. And the old man said to me, it is a miracle that I live. It is as the old man said, scintillate, scintillate my new celestial corpus, how I contemplate the distance of your existence. It was for him to say, twinkle, twinkle little star, how I wonder where you are. When the Gospel is made at a good price, someone recently said, many preachers are like cats whose nails have been filed and pulled. He says, what is that spirit in your heart? It makes you feel good in your beauty. The word does not cut through the brain and the bones anymore. It does not cut anymore and it does not hit the heart anymore. So the old man preached and he said, if you do not investigate your faith in matters, if you do not investigate your faith in matters, if you do not investigate your faith in matters, you are in danger of an eschatological consequence. The old preacher came to him and said, what did you mean? He said, if you do not repent, you will go to hell. He said, oh yes, that is what I meant. Why do you not say that? You see, preaching is a thing that needs to enter people's hearts. It does not always have to become big. Homiletical, it does not always have to be homiletic and hermeneutic. As long as it is filled with the Holy Spirit, then God's word will cut through it. And He will cut off the leg of the mosquito. And people will come to repentance. We cannot pay people in their sins. Just recently, someone brought it to me. There is a very good actress in a Sunday Koran. She says, the Lord's love has pulled me, but He has not made me weak. They go on, and they are proud of what they are doing. I ask my heart, did you ever confess Christian? Did you ever worked before Jesus Christ? And said, Lord, have mercy for me. I am a lost soul. And today, there are thousands and thousands and thousands of believers who have never, ever confessed their sins to God through sackcloth and ashes. They never broke down before God. And that is why they cannot enter the victorious Christian life. They call on the grace of God. They cry out for the grace of God. But they do not want to keep the conditions of grace. And immediately someone says, grace is grace. There is no conditions for grace. There are. You have to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. You have to believe the gospel of Christ. You have to repent of your sin. And you have to ask Christ to be your Saviour and receive Him as your Saviour, as your King, and as your Master. You must be baptized in water as a believer. And, you must forgive others, otherwise He cannot forgive you. Conditions for grace. And when those conditions are met, the amazing grace of Christ Jesus kicks in. The grace of salvation is so great. Some claim salvation without these things. They stand under the canopies like a gazebo. And they think they can stand underneath that gazebo of grace. It is not what the Bible teaches us. Grace is expensive. It never came cheap. And it is not automatic. Last week there was another article in one of these Sunday papers. Complete medical, scientific research and answers to the issue of homosexuality. And our host, where we were staying, she brought me the article and said, John, please read this and tell me what you think. Now, I must confess, I must admit, not confess, I must admit that it sounds very true the reasons, scientific, medical reasons. I don't understand half of those words anyway, but it sounded good. And it sounded true. And she came, later she came to me, she said, what do you think? I said to her, well, it's a lot of medical stuff, I don't really know, it sounds good. But I want to remain on the safe side. I believe what God has said in many places in the Bible about this issue. And the reason why I'm talking about this, we're living in the last days, my friend. Soon, and listen to me, reader, soon and very soon, this thing will come knocking at your door. And therefore, we need to be revived in the Holy Spirit to take a stand like this minister in Middleburg or wherever, Wittbonck, wherever, he said, this girl cannot sing in our church anymore, he cancelled the whole thing. And the whole world is against her, against him. The whole world, even Christians, approve of her conviction, and not of him taking a stand. I'm telling you today, friends, we need revival to take stand against these wrongs, these atrocities, and other demonic things that have been coming more and more, Bible love even in our churches. It's coming. It's coming. Are we ready? We need it in the Bible. How desperately is our thirst for truth? Forty to sixty years ago, the church influenced the world. Even Finney's days in the 1700s, Andrew Murray's days in the 1860s. But as recently as forty to sixty years ago, there was a powerful work in the church, and the reporters of the different newspapers came, and they reported what the church was doing. The church was influencing the world. Now we are at a time when the world influences the church, and it's very open, it's very clear, it's not rocket science that is happening, it's true. And the only time that we hit the news is when some prominent pastor falls into sin, or sexual sin, or money sin, or... That's when we, when the church hits the news. Make headlines. We need revival. We need everything we have to come into place so that we can resist as the body of Christ, the evil forces of Satan. Oh, how thirsty are you to drink of that fountain? How thirsty are you? The world has infiltrated the church so much that it uses, it's doing away with all the old biblical terms. Give it new fashioned names. We no longer faint as, by the way, the New King James Version says. Not the old, the old also. Afrikaans veel ons is die helige. But today we're becoming partners. A business term inside the church. I'm sorry if I, but I have to say we think somebody has to say it. You know, the world is falling for corruption because good people are quiet. People with a word in their hearts are just quiet. We dare not speak out because we may offend. The biggest offender of all times was the Lord Jesus Christ. You hypocrites! You bunch of... What was it? Dead bones! Brood of vipers! Liar! No wonder they crucified Him. No wonder. Every one of the apostles died a martyr's death except John. No wonder that there are still 100,000 plus martyrs per year for the Christian faith. Did you know that? Because people stand for the truth and the truth offends the world. The world gives no love for the church, man. And we should not sacrifice our love for neighbors at the cost of the truth in the church of Jesus Christ. We have to stand for that. We need revival. Question to you. I don't have a chance this guy. I'm not going to be able to tell him today. What my leader... I don't know if you should listen carefully. What my leader, through my God's service or my faith in Christ, my life, is it controlled by my... by what I believe, by my faith in Christ and in the word of God? Or did my lust and lust become the thing that controls my faith? And before you answer this question to yourself, you need to stop and think. We don't have much of ourselves. Not where I adjust my faith to me and let it be. Not necessarily without it. But that's the important thing. I need to be a step ahead. Then I will adjust to the faith. While my dear friend, we, you and I as believers, need to adjust to God's word. That is two different criteria. You say, you wonder, how can I say something like that? If I say to you that believers should adjust, adjust their lives in line with God's word, then every church and school would be full in the mornings and evenings. Because the word of God says, Hebrews 10, you must not neglect your subordinates. You must not neglect your income. You must have the habit, especially now that the day of the Lord is coming. Do you hear what I say to you? We make so much effort not to live up to the common things. While we need to make effort to be there. We need salvation. Can you say Amen? We are children of God after all. We have written God in ourselves. He is no longer with us. He is with us in our lives. He is with me. Priority is given to us. I think you will hear a refrain in your heart. He will not make us alive again, to your word. So that we can stay there. Now come, let's get away from this. Where is this miracle fountain of life? We get the answer in our scripture. He prays. He says, You are the answer. You are this miracle fountain. Jesus Christ is the source of this life. We must drink from this fountain, if we want this life. And we must glorify Him. Because He is wonderful. He is Councilman. He is Father of God. He is Father of peace. He is the first and the last. He is the eternal, the Lord. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. He is the way, the truth and the life. The life and the resurrection. He is the door to the kingdom of God. He is the path to the kingdom of God. He is the living water. Drink from me, and you will never again thirst. Never thirst. For what? Not for other good. But Christ and Him alone. There is no alternative for the spiritual experience. We can plan, plan and make the wishes real, and all other good, so that people come and we have more rules to keep them. We want a simple spiritual experience, where we drink from the fountain of the living water. Because, there is a path to the fountain. Show me the path. And again, in our crucifixion, will you us, this is our prayer, isn't it? Won't you, Lord, this is my prayer, that you, by your grace and your mercy, will lead me because you are Jehovah Ruhai. The Lord, my shepherd, lead me to the waters where I will find nourishment for my soul. Won't you do this for me, Lord? It is prayer. And you study the revivals of the old times, you'll find that it was with a lot of prayer and a lot of tears by the men and the women who God used for these revivals. Ordinary men and women, I'm thinking of William Seymour, a black man with one eye, crooked nose and a crippled leg, praying, reading the Word of God, realizing this is something like the powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And they prayed, it was the beginning of the Azusa Street revival in 1906, and we are still the product of that revival. Amazing. When Andrew Murray and his father, I believe his father prayed often, he made it his business, he desired revival. Andrew Murray in the Cape prayed for revival, and then one day they had a conference, and the next day there was a prayer meeting, and the youth gathered in the church building. Other meetings were also going on in other areas of the church, and Andrew Murray wasn't in this one meeting. And then he prayed, or he wasn't there. There was a young, colored girl which was not the norm. Parents were not really allowed to pray, but the elder allowed her to pray. And she started praying a simple prayer of a believer, and they say there was a sound of a rusting wind coming near, and it filled the whole place, and the people fell to the ground, confessing their sins. And one of the members ran to Andrew Murray and said, you must have done something wrong. And Andrew Murray came running. He said, what's going on? Be quiet! Be quiet! But the more he shouted, the more the people confessed their sins, and crying for forgiveness. And later on he cried, I am your pastor! I'm sent by God! Be quiet! He could not stop it. And it went on. It changed that part of the Cape. And so, many of us, and where we are today are the by-product of that revival. It was Evan Roberts. We went to Wales once. I went there and we visited all these places of revival. Evan Robbins prayed there in Wales. And he attended a meeting where an evangelist preached about revival. The evangelist's name was Seth Joshua. And he prayed. He said, Lord, bend that! And this thing just struck into Evan's heart and mind. And he started praying, Lord, bend us! So the next day he went back for another meeting. And then he prayed again. He went on his knees and he cried out, Lord, bend me! Bend me! Bend me! It's all that I need, that you will bend me! And then later he confessed, and I'm reading that it was God's love that made me to bend before Him. And then the peace of God overshadowed my whole system. He said, after this, I was filled with a special love for those who are lost. And I bowed my knees for their salvation. The product of revival. Prayer. Psalm 65 verse 6. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... they raised their voices to God and said, Lord, you are the God of heaven and earth and the heavens and all that is in them. And now, Lord, pay attention to their threats, give them the power to speak to you with all freedom, that you may extend your hand to mercy, and that you may place signs and wonders in the name of the Holy Child Jesus. And when they prayed, the place where they were together was filled, and it was all filled with the Holy Spirit. Can I say, again filled with the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God was spoken with freedom. So soon after Easter comes a revival. We need quick revivals. Not quick revivals, quick together. We need a new life every day. Because we live with Christ. It is not a single theological decision that has been made. It is a life cycle. I and you, who have a desire in our hearts for a deep, intimate walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, who have that desire that the Word must go forth with strength and righteousness and truth, that the Holy Spirit may take His rightful place in the Church again. And take over everything. That is my desire. When I go to church, I pray that I may take and maintain you. Not that my cult, my denominationalism, my whatever, you stop me. I am looking for words. I am looking for words. What is my worldview? That my world vision is not dominated by my past. Because I am now a child of God. I no longer have a past. Nothing is made of me. He did not take my old book and gave me a new leaf. He did not throw away the old blood. He covered it with His precious blood on the cross. He gave me a new book. A book of life. We all say Amen for a new experience. If I have to ask you a question now, I believe most of you will say yes. But before we do, most of you will say yes. But you know what? And I am a person who has a quiet example within me. Experience? But you should not change me. I would like to go on as I am within this experience. As long as this is not my activity and my plans and my goodness and my knowledge and my goodness, it does not work. Send your experience to me. Start with the priest. Start with the pastor. And then with the elders. And then the deacons. And then the priests. And then come and trust us. Pray. Forget us of ourselves. Because life is so long ahead of us. How much we would like to experience it. We would say, how wonderful it would be if you would bring my mother-in-law into her life. Or my boss. I remember that old song we always sang. Standing in the need of prayer. It's me. It's me, oh Lord. Standing in the need of prayer. Experience. Change. Everything. Amen. I don't say Amen. I say Amen. Experience. Change. Everything. And the experience changed the deacons. They were no longer heard. But the elders were no longer cursed and told not to do anything. They said, come deacon, you are so beautiful. Deacon, you don't want to know anything. Things changed. The crew became empty. The faith became empty. The police did not have a job. It brought a total change in a nation. And God can do it. Come on. Nobody says Amen. You know, we go back to the past, kids. We go all the way through the desert. That sounds bad. Because it's dry and it's dry. And I remember the CGL 37. The dry legs that the CGL had to take advantage of. I say friends, because there is one place where the one-sided mind is okay. But the other mind is like that. And they are right. I say, father, see, it's over with the militia. I don't think so. I didn't say it so beautifully. But it's over with the militia. Anyway. Yes. And that Saturday morning it started to rain. And there the North Cape. That rain. While we were still finishing. And look, you know. Where Nuno was still wet. Where the grass was still wet. Not a drop of water. In a minute. It's a lake of water. I say to you, how long are we going to do this with trucks and watercars? It will never happen. In a minute. When we drive back the next Monday. We will be on the right path. Because this whole place is an oasis. Everything is green. My brothers won't believe it. It's green. Green grass. It doesn't look like this outside. Everything is green. If you go to that country of the dead militias. Here they all stand. Very green. I don't have a beautiful word for it. I don't have an extreme word for green. But green. They are growing. And you know, the Lord said to me just like that. He who thirsts for water. If that fountain of life goes around. This nation. Can change within a day. When God has been making his life. We pray to you. Come on church. Just say Amen. Because it was. It was the last rain. We must pray for the last rain. Because that last rain will bring life. Like you and I would never ever imagine. Amen. I say green. What is the product. Of this fountain. Again our answer is in the verse. He says. Will you not make us. I have read this. Yes. Will you not make us alive again. So that your people and your joy can be. The product of revival. Simply. Joy in the Lord. And that is what we need. I was always allowed. The conqueror. Conqueror. Lord and Master. Of the whole world. We have reasons to laugh at him. But we cut a little bit. A tower on. Or something that you can get in. We cut. Revival. Make us alive. After your word. Oh Lord. So that we can be happy. About what you do. And witnessed. In there. You see. We are so. Very. Very. Sad. And we have. We have reasons. To be. Because. We look at ourselves. Owned. Heritage. In South Africa. And we feel. And we see. How that. Everything. Goes to the ground. We lose. Our joy. We sound. Like the Israelite. When they go into exile. At the rivers. Of Babylon. At the rivers. Of Babylon. There. We. Stay down. Can you. The word of. Father. My. Fear. Fear. Of. Babel. That. It. Was. Good. And. Was. And. Was. Good. And. It was. Good. That. We. The. Only. I know. Only. If you are a patriot, your heart must feel that way, or there is something wrong with you. But, there is something wrong, it must be rectified. It must be rectified, because our future, and our glory, and all our wonderful good, is not in a land of soil and clay. Because our citizenship is from heaven. And as long as we have that wisdom of a citizenly, wonderful heaven, then we have the fruits of the Lord within us. Do you hear what I say to you? It is a fruit that you cannot buy with money. It is a fruit that you cannot get from a wine bottle, or a drink bottle, or any other bottle, or from a pill. It is a fruit that does not react to your eternal bank balance. It is a fruit that the world does not give. Because all these other three good things are a fruit that is short-lived. They are eternal happiness. Feel so happy. Do not keep that good. Until the first pop or the first strike, that fruit is gone. But God, the fruit of the Lord, and the influence of this fruit of the Lord, is through His life. Beloved, He said in Hebrews, We are going to give you of better things. Four things to prepare for us. Number one, the fruits of His resurrection. Hello? Easy for you. Come on. It was the reason to lead, wasn't it? The fruits of His full-time presence. Amen. He was born. Then He comes down. Then He goes up. Then He goes down. To never let us be. Hello? Wherever we are, there He is. It is the reason for joy. Number three, the fruit of our citizenship in heaven. We know where we are going to go in Philippians 2, because our citizenship is in heaven. Because where we were also lost, our Lord Jesus Christ. And fourth, it is the joy of an eternal life that awaits us. If this joy is burning in you, then you can not be as bad as you are. Then we can not walk in such a way that the truth will make us sorry. But, we will live a short life. We will live a short life. And my intense request to you is that you will pray with me. For her life. Of course, maybe it is not so easy, of course, to make a focus point at the ladies' prayer hours, and at the men's prayer hours, and at our prayer times. Here it lies in my heart. I know, maybe not in your heart. But if I think logically about the state of affairs, the moral is what is going on. The church has fallen. School has fallen. Government has fallen. And there is only one answer left. Revive us again, O Lord, that we may rejoice in You. Come on, stand up. I want you to pray with me. I pray, the Lord of life, to give us again thirst. Salvation will not come if we do not thirst like the Lord. Thirst for what? And I pray that the Spirit works in your heart today, that you realize, and I realize, that there is no other way out. And that we will be motivated for righteousness when we pray for salvation and I pray that it will not be my fault, not my fault, but God's will will be done. He will be glorified. Pray with me, as He says. Psalm 82, I pray. Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of my salvation and uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners shall be converted to You. And we conclude with the longest Psalm in the Bible. The Revival Psalm. I call it the Revival Psalm. Psalm 119. Revive us according to Your Word. Revive us, O Lord, according to Your way. Revive us according to Your righteousness. And revive us, O Lord, according to Your justice. And revive us, O Lord, according to Your judgment. And revive us according to Your lovingkindness so that we can rejoice in You. Hear our prayer, Lord, this day for Your sake, for Your name's sake, for Your church's sake, Your people's sake, for our nation's sake, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen. Amen, Lord. Hallelujah, Thine the glory. Hallelujah, Amen. Hallelujah, Thine the glory. Revive us again. Hallelujah, Thine the glory. Hallelujah, Amen. Hallelujah, Thine the glory. Revive us again.
