Ladies and gentlemen, men and women, young and old, listen to a message from God. There are three people in this city, there are three people in this city that are going to hell. There's three. You say, oh, what's he talking about? There's three people in this city, according to God's word, that are going to hell, and here are their names. Mr., their names are Mr., Mr. Obstinate, number one, number two, Mr. Hypocrisy, number three, Mr. Goodworks. There's these three people that are going to hell from this very city that we live in. Number one, Mr. Obstinate, number two, Mr. Hypocrisy, and number three, Mr. Goodworks. Number one, Mr. Obstinate is anyone, and that could be any one of us, no one is excluded, Mr. Obstinate is who is stubborn, he who doesn't listen to his own conscience, he who doesn't listen to the word of God, he who doesn't listen to the light that comes from heaven, he who doesn't listen to the truth. This is Mr. Obstinate, the stubborn one. Man, you mind taking your crate down there a little ways? I'm trying to sleep upstairs, and you're hooting and hollering about hell and God and all this fucking bullshit, man. Hell is horrible. I ain't going to buy into your bullshit. Hell is horrible, no warning is too strong. Now listen, there's three people in this city that are going to hell. There's three people in this city that are going to hell. Number one, Mr. Obstinate. How many of us here fall into that category of Mr. Obstinate? The Bible says, in John chapter one, verse nine, that Jesus Christ was the light of the world, that's coming to the world, and listen to this, he was the true light which lighteth every man. Jesus Christ, the true light which lighteth every man. It doesn't matter who you are, it doesn't matter how old you are, or where you come from, every man has been lighted by the truth that is found in Jesus Christ. Every man. Every man. The light that come into the world has lighteth every man, according to John right here, one nine, Jesus Christ. Now Mr. Obstinate takes that light, that he's been lighted with, Mr. Obstinate, he's stubborn against it, and though he knows it's true, and though he knows it's the light, though he knows it's the life, and what he's doing is wrong, Mr. Obstinate, he chooses to not listen, he chooses and says, I'm doing my own thing. I'm not listening to God, I'm doing what I want to do. I'm not listening to the word of God, I'm listening to my own word. And you know, that's why he goes to hell. That's why he goes to hell. Because Jesus said, this is the condemnation. You know, why is it, why is it that people go to hell? Why is it that people go to hell? Why does God send people to hell? Why does he, it says he does in his word, why does he do that? Jesus explained it, look, it's not because of this sin or that sin, it's because Jesus said that light has come into the world, but men love darkness more than they love light. And that's what Mr. Obstinate does, he loves darkness more than he loves light. Ask yourself, do I love darkness more than I love light? Because that is what Jesus said is the condemnation. This is the condemnation. Men love darkness more than they love light. So in John 1, it says that the light has come into the world, Jesus Christ, the light of the world, and it lights every man. The question is, are you, are you obstinate against it? Do you love darkness more than light? You've been lighted, you've been lighted with truth, so what do you do with that light? Do you take that light and you snuff it out? Or do you obey the light? Do you come into the light? Look, Jesus said the reason why people don't come into the light is because they don't want their deeds to be exposed. The reason that you don't come into the light is because you have deeds that you do, you have things that you do that you don't want to be exposed. Well, the news is that on the judgment day when you die, you know, there's more to life than just eating and drinking and walking around Fredericton. On the judgment day, your deeds will be exposed, regardless of if you want them to or not. And they'll be exposed before God, before man, before the angels. It says when Jesus returns, he'll judge every man according to what he has done. The light has come into the world. The question is, do you come into the light now, or do you come into the light later? There's three people in this city that are going to hell. Number one is Mr. Obstinate, and he's the one who doesn't want to come into the light. He knows the light, he knows the light is good, he knows his deeds are bad, his conscience condemns him, but yet he chooses to walk against what the word of God says. He chooses to utterly forsake his conscience. The second person in this city who's going to hell is Mr. Hypocrite. And a hypocrite, a hypocrite is someone who says that they're walking in truth, but who doesn't walk in the light that they say they're walking in. Man, you're like garbage to fucking someone else. Okay, I need, I'm going to have to take a milk cream, man. I'm going to have to take it. You already took my other one. Yeah, well, you know, I'm walking downtown, I'm going to get my money, I'm going back to the streets. These are things I have to do to exist, and I don't want to have to hear you preaching bullshit every time. The Bible says that faith is more precious than gold. It's the most important thing in life. I don't have money, but I have... Go in my motherfucking living room, Eli. It doesn't believe in what you believe in, and he has to hear what you have to fucking say. Well, I mean, I have the right to speak on the street. It's not how the fucking police feel about you. Call them up. I've already talked to them. No, you, don't talk to that garbage. Uh, actually, I shouldn't. No. I shouldn't, that's true. I shouldn't, because you talk to bullshit. Look, look. Get off the fucking... It's more important, look, let's just, let's talk, let's reason, let's reason for a second. It's more important. You're bothering me. Thank you very much. Look, this is where it belongs. This is where the word belongs. It's not, it's not in four walls. It's gone. You walking in the light? In the what? In the light. Oh, whatever. The light of God. Look, ladies and gentlemen, there's three people in this city that are going to hell. The first person's Mr. Obstinant. Mr. Obstinant, who chooses not to walk in the law, in the light of God, which he knows is right. Mr. Obstinant, who knows the truth and doesn't walk in it. Stubborn. Wanting to do his own thing. Not wanting to obey what God has to say. Though you know it's right. Look, I'm not even out here to convince you that God's way is right, because you already know it is. You know what God has to say is true and it's good. I'm not out here to convince you of that. But I'm out here to show you the folly of walking in darkness, the folly of walking. Look, we all know that when you live in such a way that you know is wrong, that's the worst way you can possibly live. When you live in a way that you know is wrong, when you do things that you know is not right, that's the worst. You know it in your spirit. You know it in your conscience. You're eaten away by it. But we know that when you walk in truth and what you know is right and just and true, these things, when we walk in the light, there's nothing greater. There's nothing greater. It's better to go to jail doing what's right than not going to jail doing what's wrong. Right? Come on, people. It's better to die for doing what's right than not dying for doing what's wrong. You know this is true. But the question is, what do you do with it? Now, the second person, the second person that I want to talk about today is Mr. Hypocrite, Mr. Hypocrisy. A hypocrite is someone who says he is one thing and does another thing. And there's a lot of people in this city who say, I'm walking in the truth, I'm walking in the light of God, I'm a good person, I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in the Word, and yet their lives deny what they say. So they're not walking in the light either. Because if you walk in the light as he is in the light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin. And the thing is, when you walk in hypocrisy, you're not cleansed from sin, you're living in sin. And you're just putting on a big mask, you're just putting on a big show, and your conscience, here it is again, your conscience and your spirit and your soul, they're eaten away because you're not living in truth, you're not living by what is true. You're living in a lie. How many people are even in that level of hypocrisy? And the third person I want to talk about is Mr. Good Works, and they think that they can get to heaven by just doing good works. Oh, God will accept me if I'm just a good person. I'm going to try to get to heaven on my own way, my own method, my own religion, my own path, my own gate. I'm not going to do it the way God said, I'm going to do it my own way. Jesus said, you're a thief if you try it. So if I said, are you going to heaven? And you said, yes, I am. I said, how are you going to heaven? Well, I'm a good person. Well, that's not what the Bible says. You're a thief trying to get to heaven in your own way. And so if I said, are you going to heaven? Yeah. Well, how? Well, I'm going to go to heaven by worshipping an idol. If I worship an idol, when I get to heaven, I'll be accepted. Well, that's not the way of the Bible. That's not the way of Christ. God bless you guys. That's not the way of Christ. So you're a thief because you're trying to get in the fold your own way. Jesus said, I am the gate. And if anyone wants to come in, he must go through me. No one goes to the Father except through Jesus. So if I said, how are you going to heaven? And you say, I'm going to heaven because I believe in Jesus Christ died for my sin. I'm forgiven and I'm walking in the light of that truth. I'm going to heaven because I'm walking the way of Christ. I'd say, amen. You are going to heaven. You have confidence on the day of judgment, but anything else outside that, beware, beware, beware, because when you die and you stand before the Lord and you say, take me in now, he'll say, I don't know you. I don't know you. I don't know you. There'll be nothing worse than on the day of judgment to stand before God. And he says, I don't know you. And the only way you can go to God, the only way is by Jesus, his son. He made him the way. There's no other name.
