We are supposed to be a people who live in such a supernatural manner, and I'm talking about his life being lived within us. We so change, as Paul says, from image to image and glory to glory that the world literally has to stand up, as they did on the day of Pentecost, and say, truly there is a God in heaven. That's how we're called to live. We're not called to be ordinary. We're called to show forth the praises, as Peter says, of him who's called us out of darkness and into his marvelous light. My life is to be a saver of praise to God everywhere I go. I'm to be a different kind of a man. I'm to be a man who changes, not perfect, but changing, constantly moving forward. God, you want to speak to this area? Speak to this area in my life. God, help us in this hour. We've got to rise up, Church of Jesus Christ. We've got to rise up in the power of our God. There's little time left. Every Christian in our generation must become a preacher now, and every preacher must speak for Christ. It's come to that time, folks. It's time to stop playing all religious games. It's time for men and women to get right with God. It's time for every man, every woman, every young person to say, God Almighty, whatever's hindering the testimony of your voice and your life within me, Jesus, deal with it now. This is not about heaven and hell for me. This is about the future of others who need to know God. This is about the honor of God, the glory of God. If the trumpet, Paul says, makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare himself to the battle? How will they know? How will they prepare if we preach to them as if there's a million tomorrows when there might be only a few left? How will the people know if we preach to them and present a false image of Christ as if he requires nothing of the people, as if semi- sanctification is good enough, as if a half-hearted following is acceptable to God when there's no evidence of this in the scriptures, folks? God, help us to preach the Christ of the Bible again. God, help us to get involved in the work of the Christ of the Bible. God, help us to be able to stand as Jesus did in the pulpit and say, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me for this reason, to preach to the poor, to see the captive set free, to give sight to the blind, to see those that are bruised in heart, given the healing that God offers to all men. God, help you and I to stand again and represent the Christ of heaven in this generation. Jesus said, whoever seeks to save his life shall lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake and for the gospel's sake shall save it. You see, Moses sought to save his life. He wanted to keep this thing inside of him, not realizing that it was going to cost him. It was going to cost others, perhaps. The wisdom, the leadership that he could have offered was going to be lost because he refused to deal with these things that were in his life. God, help us today to deal with the half-heartedness that is so rampant. The American society, which I am part of and I love, has in it the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And so we've taken that and we've brought that into the church. And now the whole reason for Christ in the church is for life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The culture now has formed the church instead of the church forming the culture. Sad to say, but there's always hope as long as you live and I live. What has God's remedy been? God's remedy has always been a man, a woman. God's remedy has always been a person who lays hold of the hem of his garment one more time and say, God Almighty, I want you to do something in me that nobody else can do. I want you to give me a testimony. I want you to put the burning fire that's in your heart and mind. I want you to be so intertwined in my life that when I stand and speak or when I just simply walk down the street or when I just interact with my friends and family that you are seeing Jesus, that there's a reality, that a conviction of sin comes, that there's an understanding, there's a righteousness that's far beyond anything that can be produced with human effort, that men become aware there's a day of justice coming. The cry of my heart and yours has got to be, God, let me see what I'm trying to save with myself that will cause me to be an uncured or unfinished testimony of your purposes and your grace. You've got to help me see what am I trying to save. What am I not willing to give? What area of my life Jesus came to touch? There's no revival without this. Talk about it, plan about it, have a hundred thousand seminars about it, but there's no revival until God's people get face to face with God and say you have the rights to my heart, you have the rights to my life, you have the rights to everything that is mine, you have the right to send me to Africa, you have the right to cause me to die preaching the gospel in the street corner, you have the rights to my life. I'm not my own, I'm bought with a price, you have the right to examine my heart, you have the right to prove me and try me and test me and see if I'm in the faith, you have the rights to take me where I can't go in the natural and to make me what I could never be in my own strength, you have the right, oh God, to send me where I couldn't go and make me what I could never be, you have the right, Jesus Christ, you are the Lord of my life. That's where revival comes from, that's where young men and women go to the mission field, that's where preachers who know to preach Christ are born again. It's men and women who say you have the right, you have the to this temple, you have the right to overthrow my image of myself, you have the right, oh God, you have the right to make a fool out of me if that's what it takes for you to be glorified, you have the right to my life and every part of my life and every thing in my life, mighty God, you have the right to speak to me, you have the right to have others speak to me, you have the right to let me know that you may be lifted up high, you have the right to my financial, You have the right to my future! You have the right to my life! Thank you, Lord, that you don't show us our deficiency and leave us there. Thank you, God. Thank you, Lord, that you are faithful and just to forgive and you cleanse from all unrighteousness. God, cleanse us from unrighteousness. Holy Spirit, cleanse us from unrighteousness. God, take us where we cannot go and do in us what we could never perform in our own strength. I ask you for the miraculous tonight. I ask you, Lord, for besetting sins to be broken in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I ask you, God, for depression and thoughts of suicide to be banished and stand against these things in the name of Jesus Christ, God Almighty. I ask you, Lord, to open every prison door, for every man and woman is captivated, captivated by memories of past experience, captivated by evil words that were spoken over their lives. I come against this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I take authority over it. Satan, you have no right to the church of the living God. You have no authority in the church of Jesus Christ. I put you under threat. I tread upon you in the power of the name of Jesus Christ. God Almighty, God Almighty, I pray that you give strength to those whose hands are weak and whose knees are feeble to stand again in the power of God, to believe you, Lord, in the impossible, to go, O God, into places that you will truly be glorified through your church. Hallelujah, Lamb of God. Thank you for freedom. God Almighty, give strength to the spiritually blind. Give strength to those who don't see a way out. They don't see into the future. They don't understand the depth of what you can do through a surrendered vessel. God, give sight. I ask it in Jesus' mighty name. Lord God, I'm crying out to you to do the miraculous. I'm crying out to you tonight, O God, to do what only you can do. Lord God, send revival. God Almighty, open our eyes and send revival. God Almighty, send revival. Send revival, Lord. Send revival. Send revival. Send it into our hearts, our homes, O God, our families, our children. My God, send it into our worship. Send it into our songs, Lord. Let something of glory and grace be given to us, O God, that we can stand in this generation and glorify you, O God. My God, I pray through your church, push back the powers of darkness. You promised, Lord, to raise up a standard against the devil. God, raise it in this generation. I pray for grandmothers. Give them power, O God, with this generation. Give weight to the words of fathers, O God. God, give us a voice in this generation. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Let your church arise. Let your church be heard again. Let the glory of God be in your house. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah. God Almighty, God Almighty. Every church, every denomination. God, fill the pastors with the fire of God, I pray, Lord. In every church, Lord. Baptist, Methodist, Brethren, Presbyterian, Pentecostal. Let the glory of God come into the pulpit again. Break this dullness, Lord. Break this spiritual dullness. Let the life of Christ come. Hallelujah. God Almighty, God Almighty. You will do this. I believe it with all my heart, O God. I stand on it, God. I believe it, Lord, with everything in me. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah. God Almighty. Now, I'm going to encourage you. Have the courage to ask God for the power to be what you are not yet. Don't be boxed in. Have the courage. Say, God, let the miraculous begin tonight in me. Let me be changed. Let me be a different man or woman when I wake up in the morning. Let me be different. Let me have gone deeper, farther in the power of my God. Don't be ashamed to ask for this. Don't be boxed in. This is not a time for the church to cower. It's not a time to live in a cave. This is a time to step into the marketplace again with the glory of God upon us. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I can't cry out for you. You've got to do it yourself. You've got to cry out to God unashamedly. God, give me your power again. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Blessed be the name of God. You mustn't leave until you know that God's answered your cry tonight. Do not die on the side of unbelief. I'd rather drown crossing over into the promised land. Do not die on the side of unbelief. God has something sovereign. There's no other hope for this generation now. The hope is in this room. Call out to him. Just don't be ashamed. Hallelujah. Praise God.
