And I knew about him. Quite well known. There had been an exposure of a Christian leader who was exposed for pornography. And he laughed. He said, where do I line up? Where do I go and confess? He said, I watch a little bit of pornography. He shrugged it off. What he was really saying, after I go home from my evangelistic meetings, I go home to the room, turn on TV, and I watch pornography. The Lord said, don't even answer him. Let him go. He's lost the anointing. He makes a lot of noise in the pulpit. But I'm not with that man anymore. I don't walk with that man. Now, the Holy Spirit told me to speak of this tonight. Because pornography is destroying and devastating pastor after pastor, Christian after Christian, all over the world. And they say a little bit can't hurt a mature believer. A little cyanide pill can kill you instantly. And so you drift in and out of it. And you say, I'll just confess it. And it won't affect me. Years ago, true story, a Teen Challenge director, like a son to me, good preacher, wonderful soul runner, had about 20 drug addicts in his program. Loving, kind man. His wife called me one day. She said, Pastor Dave, my husband's changing. His preaching is so dead. Drug addicts are leaving the program. He's become mean-spirited. And tearfully she said, I don't know this man now. And I wondered what was changing. I asked him, what's happened to you? He said, come upstairs. Took her in his office. Turned on his computer. It was pornography. He said, sit down. He said, I'm hooked. I can't break it. And I don't want to break it. It has me. And if you don't sit and watch with me, I'm going to divorce you. I invited them to our house. I flew them to our house. I spent a couple days. I got on the floor, pleading with him, saying, please, God still loves you. God can set you free. I'm not judging you. Don't you understand? You're stamping hell on your forehead. He left the house with his wife. And said, I'm sorry, brother David. I don't want to change. He divorced his wife. Went into the occult. And married a witch. And you wonder why I talk about it? Seeing that all these things being dissolved, what manner of person do I have to be in holy conversation and godliness? Sisters, I'm not going to pass you by. What would your husband say about you? My wife is becoming more tender. You know what Paul the Apostle said? Having food and raiment, be contented. He said, don't seek for wealth. Be contented. Christian wife. Pastor's wife. Even single women. Would your husband say, or your friend say about you, you are growing more contented? You're not thinking about more and better things? Would he say about you? My wife, I see her going into her room to pray. She swallows her hurt. She's forgiving. She's becoming sweeter. She's walking according to the word of God. In meekness and long suffering. And Paul the Apostle says, forbearing one another. That means putting up with each other. Giving up your rights. You don't have to be right anymore. Even though you know you're right. You swallow your right. Because you don't want to fight. You don't want to argue anymore. I want to be like Jesus. I want to be changed in His image. So I don't have any rights. My only rights are in Christ Jesus. And in His likeness. Or would he have to say, my wife is a big spender. My wife is never satisfied. She's growing colder by the day. Oh God help us. Here's what Paul the Apostle says. And this is the standard. Put on therefore. As the elect of God. Holy and beloved. Vows of mercy. Kindness. Humble mind. Meekness. Long suffering. Forbearing. Forgiving one another. If anyone has a fight against another. As Christ has forgiven you. So you forgive them. That's the standard. That's walking worthy of Christ. And they say at midnight. When Jesus can come at any moment. You won't have time. To make it right. Make it right now. Make it right. Paul the Apostle says that on that day. And this is voiced by Peter also. That you may be found. In peace. Peace in your house. Peace in your heart. Peace with your husband, your wife. Peace on the job. Peace in the church. Peace at any cost. And if you're here tonight. And you're in strife. There's someone that has antagonized you. Somebody has hurt you. And you feel you have a right. To hold a grudge. And to be angry. You cannot walk worthy of Christ. Now the Holy Spirit is not here to condemn. There's no way you and I can walk in the image of Christ. There's no way we can change from image to image. By just saying I'll do it. It doesn't come by will power. It comes by looking in the mirror. Saying this is what I'm supposed to be. This is what the Holy Spirit is calling me to be. This is how I can walk in peace. With all men. And I can tell you now. I stand here. At peace with every man on the face of this earth. I can say before a holy God. If I know my heart at all. I made peace. I asked forgiveness. I told my wife. By God's grace. And the help of the Holy Spirit. The older I get. We've been married 54 years. Many of those were troubled years. Because I was stubborn. I was foolish. And I just skipped over these verses. But now I have something in my soul. It's the Holy Ghost. Calling the church. It's time to change. Get back. Make things right. Jesus is coming. Do it now. Will you stand? I've been in prayer today. And I want to tell you what God said to my heart. I've been in prayer today. And this is what God has put in my heart. God spoke clearly to my soul. I'm going to heal marriages tonight. For those who are going to be honest. I'm going to change hearts. I'm going to convict. And heal. Pastors. This is what I receive from the Lord. The reason so many pastors especially are discouraged. Downcast. I'm not saying that of everybody. Many of you here are in peace. And everything I said tonight. You can say amen. But there are many. And this is my struggle. What do I say to pastors who are discouraged? What's the message? And I come back to what God told me today. The reason for our discouragement. And all the things that the enemy puts in our minds. The main reason. Is because we are not walking worthy of Christ. We are not conforming to the Word. And if you want to conform to the Word. And you ask the Holy Spirit. He's been waiting. You preach that. You teach that. And along comes one man. Who's been tested. And tried. As much as anybody in this building. I've made as many mistakes as you could ever make. I've been tempted and tossed. But I know when I've changed. And I know when the Spirit bore witness in my soul. And He brought such peace to my home. And my children. And the rest. And the quiet of the Holy Spirit. Is when God took me to Colossians. Said David. I want you to walk worthy of me. I want you to know. That it's not the casting out of devils. All the great works that you've seen and done. It's what I want to make you. And when you stand before the seat of judgment. When you stand face to face with me. Your heart will leap. Because you can say with Paul the Apostle. That's what a good fight. I don't care what your fight's been up to now. I don't care how bad your fight has been. Starting tonight. You can start a new fight. A good fight. Until the day of death. Or Jesus coming. Hallelujah. That's grace. That's the mercy of God. Oh Jesus. I ask tonight. That you send the Holy Spirit. In greater measure. Lord I've delivered my soul. Now it's your time. To do your work. Thank you. Now I'm going to open the altars. For those who are hearing me. And the word went deep in your heart. And you would acknowledge before the Lord. There will be no cameras. I'm asking to shut down all the cameras. No flash bulbs. This is serious business with God. And if the Spirit's convicted you. And your mate is with you. And you're saying to yourself. I'm not measuring up. I'm not going in the right direction. The enemy has tried to move in. The enemy is trying to destroy. And disturb. You can come. And I'm going to pray with you. And we're going to believe. That the Lord. Will send you home. Not with just something surface. But a change that will last until Jesus comes. Or until the Lord takes you home. Don't come up here. Unless the Spirit of God is speaking to you. If he's speaking to you. Follow these that are coming. All over the building. Not just pastors. But anyone. Who's with your husband or your wife. Or you're alone. Your husband or wife is not here. You said but I need to change. I need to conform. Follow these that are coming. You can go to the sides. If you're here tonight. And you don't know Christ. You've not made Jesus Lord of your life. I invite you to step out and follow also. Now you can fall. I mean you can stay in the aisles. If you can't come any further. Just come up and just stand in the aisles. I wait just a moment while these are coming. Now God is doing just what he told me he would do. Would you look this way please? I'm going to talk to you while I'm coming. Will you believe me when I say. I'm not preaching down to you. I'm a man. Who has been touched. With the infirmities. My wife's had 25 operations. Five for cancer. I lost my 12 year old granddaughter to cancer. My two daughters have suffered cancer. And folks there were times. We almost never made it. And all I can feel. All I can sense here tonight. Is Jesus reaching out his hand. He says it's not hopeless. It's not the end. It can be the beginning. I feel his love. His mercy. Saying this is the time. I've been wooing you. And really. If you're a man of God. Or a woman of God. What I'm preaching to you. And what I'm saying to you now. God's already said it to you. Isn't that right? Hasn't God been speaking to you? So if I'm a man of God. And you're a man of God. And I pray and you pray. He's just saying. This is my stamp of approval. This is where I want to take you. I ask the Lord tonight. To convict me while I preach. Oh I know who I am in Christ. This is not about your salvation. This is about your character. And my character. And how I'm changing. Would you join me in a prayer of repentance? Would you pray in your own words? You're too far up in Christ. For me to just stand here and have you repeat a prayer. Would you just bow your heads before the Lord? If you have your mate next to you. Will you just take her by the hand please? Would you both ask the Holy Spirit. To do something of change. Just a change. In the right direction. Just a change. In conforming. To be like Christ. More of Christ. That I may be. To you. More like Jesus. That I could be to you. To my church. Even to my enemies. Merciful. And forgiving. Because Jesus. You've forgiven me so much. I must forgive. Let's do it now. All over the house. In this quiet moment. Just bow your head. Now come Holy Spirit. Do the work that no man can do. No preacher can do. No evangelist can do. That certainly I can't do. Go deep. Deep. Heal broken hearts. Take away from our hearts. Self. Pride. Unforgiveness. Show us our hearts. So that before we close this meeting. We can know a decision has been made. Not just through tears. But through a commitment of the heart. Holy Ghost help me. Conform me. Let that be your prayer right now. Everyone. Conform me to your likeness Jesus. Change me. Day by day. More and more. For my family. My children. My friends. And my work. They can see. They can know. I've been with Jesus. And God has taken my heart. Do it now brother. Do it now sister. If you don't know Christ just confess him. Give him your sin problem. And he'll answer your prayer tonight. Oh Jesus. Finish the work that you've begun. Let's give the Lord just about five minutes. It doesn't take long. The Holy Spirit's here. You know he's here. Now let's just start worshiping Jesus. Let's worship the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Let's worship together. All over the house. Lift up your hands. And let's just worship the Lord. We worship you Lord. We give honor to you. We glorify your name. Thank you Holy Spirit. Thank you Spirit of the Living God. For your touch. For your power. Thank you Father. Thank you Savior. We glorify your name. We worship you Lord. We worship you Lord. Glory and honor. Praise and thanksgiving. Praise and thanksgiving. He is Lord. He is Lord. He is Lord of all. Hallelujah. Let him do the work. Let me give you my last words please. I want to thank you for hearing us. Both Gary and myself. Thank you for submitting to the Word of God. I can leave this beautiful country fully persuaded that God did what he promised us he would do. That many would leave this conference going closer. Drawing closer. To the fire. And the anointing of the presence of Jesus. I'm going to let you return to your seats. I would like to hear early in the service I heard the sound of Shekinah Glory. The glory of the Lord is hovering over this place. Could we take a time please forget about eating for a while. Let's honor the Holy Spirit. And our Savior and Father. And the Bible said where there is true repentance and when the heart turns toward the Lord and there is unity he commands his blessing. That blessing is a fresh anointing. A spirit of joy. Now is the time for joy. The whole music staff will you come and let's praise the Lord and let's worship him for the next 10 minutes please don't leave because the glory is still here. If you believe that say Amen. The Bible says clap your hands and make a joyful noise unto the Lord.
