Bishop M.A. Lalachan

Bishop M.A. Lalachan (1966–present). Born on May 20, 1966, in Niranam, Kerala, India, Lalachan Abraham, known as Bishop M.A. Lalachan, is a prominent Indian pastor, Bible teacher, and executive director of Transformation India Movement (TIM) based in Patna, Bihar. The seventh of ten children in a traditional Christian family, he was raised with strict discipline but lacked a personal faith until his late teens. A transformative encounter during a sermon’s altar call, inspired by Psalms 32:8—“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go”—led him to commit to ministry. He studied theology at a Bible college in Kerala and began serving in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Lalachan spent over 25 years with Believers Church/Gospel for Asia, establishing churches in Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, and Bihar, mentoring hundreds of clergy and workers. His preaching focuses on revival, servant leadership, and the Gospel’s transformative power, as seen in sermons like “What Child Is This” (Isaiah 9:6–7). Currently, he emphasizes church planting and training through TIM. Married, though personal details are sparse, he remains active in Bihar, saying, “The greatest among you must be a servant.”

Change Is the Law of Life
Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future. “In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”(Ps102:25-27).Remember that someday, Health may give place to sickness, pleasure may give place to pain, plenty may give place to poverty, love may give place to enmity, honor may give place to disgrace, strength may give place to weakness, and life may give place to death and everything will change. There is one who never changes! "He is unchangeable; who can oppose Him? He does whatever He pleases!" Job 23:13. With Him is no variableness. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever and He is our Abba, best Friend, nearest relation, &gracious Savior! His name is Jesus; His nature is love; He is the same; if we are walking humbly with Him. He will be our God — and we shall be His people! Let us cultivate . . . intimacy with Him, dependence upon Him, concern to please Him, fear to offend Him, zeal to glorify Him; and it must be well with us in health and sickness, in plenty and poverty, in life and death! For He is the same, and will never turn away from doing us good — "This God is the God we adore, Our faithful, unchangeable eternal Father; Whose love is as great as His power, And neither knows measure nor end!
