The Nazarite Vow
Brian Guerin

Brian Guerin (birth year unknown–present). Brian Guerin is an American pastor, author, and founder of Bridal Glory International and Ascend Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in a non-religious home, he became a Christian in college after a profound spiritual experience he described as a divine encounter with a falcon, which ignited his pursuit of intimacy with God. Guerin serves as the senior leader of Ascend Church, where his preaching emphasizes a deep relationship with Jesus, the power of God’s presence, and preparing believers for Christ’s return. He founded Ascend Academy, a ministry school, and travels globally, speaking at conferences and on platforms like TBN and GOD-TV, often highlighting signs, wonders, and prophetic insights. His books, including God of Wonders: Experiencing God’s Voice Through Signs, Wonders, and Miracles, To Know Him: Discovering Experiential Intimacy with God, The Altar: Preparing for the Return of Jesus Christ, and Divine Encounter, focus on spiritual growth and encountering God. Known for sermons like “Mary’s at His Feet” and “The Secret Place,” he encourages distraction-free prayer and devotion, drawing from Scriptures like Luke 10:41–42 and Matthew 6:6. Guerin’s ministry seeks to draw the Church into closeness with Christ, which he calls the “highest prize in life.” He said, “Your heart can burn, and you still not know Him.”

Sermon Summary
Brian Guerin emphasizes the significance of the Nazarite vow, calling for a generation of believers to embrace purity and intimacy with God. He highlights the need for Christians to separate themselves from worldly distractions and to live as consecrated ones, much like the biblical figures of Samson, Samuel, and John the Baptist. Guerin encourages the congregation to seek a deeper relationship with Jesus, abstaining from the intoxicating influences of the world and focusing on a life of holiness. He stresses that true devotion to God requires a willingness to let go of anything that hinders our relationship with Him. The sermon concludes with a call to prayer for healing and a deeper commitment to living a life set apart for God.

Wow, thank you Jesus. So good to see you all and meet Pastors Tom and Katie. Such an honor, man. Thank you for having me in Sozo Church. So you got to get Sozo'd, huh? That's awesome. First time I've ever heard that. Okay, let me get you situated. We'll see. We may not follow this at all, but it's there. So come on, Jesus. So this is the first time it snowed then this year. That's so crazy. Wow. It's going to be something good. What's that? Oh no, I'm glad it did. This is heavenly. So I'm from the south. I'm from Louisiana. You probably hear the accent. And we moved a couple of years ago up to Atlanta. Like we just hopped up a little bit. So we're still in the south and never see snow. So me and my son, Judy, want to stand quick, wave at them. Yeah. We hit the ground in Seattle and just jaws have been on the ground the whole time. Just beautiful to me. It's such a blessing to me, a gift. And you should have seen it. So I don't know how to drive in the snow though. So we're driving. And I'm like, yeah, I'm like, I don't know what I'm doing. Let me just try and follow what they're doing. And so Judah, you should have heard our like Southern logic. He's like, man, I just, I feel like the snow, the powdery where it's crunchy. I feel like you're gonna get better grip and that stuff. And I'm like, yeah. And I'm like, he's got a good point, but all the, all the cars are over here. I'm going to just follow the lead, you know? And so we stayed on the clear path and we made it, but it's beautiful. This place is like you're living in a postcard. I mean, wherever you look, it's like heaven. Oh my gosh. So anyway, um, but let's jump in. I'm really excited to be with, uh, with you guys. And I was just up here not too long ago. Um, but somewhere else, um, Seattle. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. With pastor Darren and them. And, um, you had no, no idea you guys were over here. So this is awesome. I'm just honored to be here really. And I mean, you're stirring me up, bro. I just want to say this right out of the gate in worship. This is obviously my first time here, but how many of you know, the presence of God, there's something about it that, Hey, I've seen familiar faces. Uh, the, there's something about it that it's, it can immediately feel like family and home, the glory. And I watched that. So we're really graced to travel all over. And, and sometimes you don't sense that and that's okay too. It's just such an honor anyway, but I right away, there's just such a purity here, man, a worship team. Incredible. By the way, you guys just rocked it. Yeah. But I was like, man, it's just, I was gone. I was hammered by a song too, which is in the spirit lives, the bride, you know, make herself ready song, um, in the spirit, you know, for those of you new ones, when you say hammer, just really intoxicated, um, in the spirit and, uh, but anyway, it's just such a sweet, sweet presence here. So pure and, uh, it just feels right. And so I'm excited. I just want to see, I guess we're good. How we can just kind of go forward and yeah, I could sense that. I love to honor leadership though. And I want to submit to you guys and, but I'm hoping maybe we'll make room here in a little bit for the Holy spirit to move and just go for it. Yeah. Cause, um, just sensing a powerful move of the spirit. We'll just see. And yeah, I agree. I was like, I told my son, I said, we'll see who's hungry tonight. Who comes out here? I was coming, you know, I was stoked to be here and we give our word. How many of you know, it's really important in this hour to live by, to be integrous, faithful, you know, loyal, have character. This is really important. Listen, this sounds to some of us like elementary, but it's really, really big to keep your word and things like this. And, uh, but I'm seeing it's packed out in here. I'm like, okay, here's some hungry folks around here. And, uh, where there's hunger, it's usually pretty dangerous when the Holy spirit's there too, in a good way. So just want to raise your expectancy and we'll see what will happen before I get going. I'll forget and just trail off. Does anybody have a problem with their left ear, like deafness in their left ear, partial hearing, or are problem with the left ear? Oh, left and right. Okay. Definitely. Is anybody else specifically the left ear? Okay. Okay. You left ear. Okay. Specifically the left ear. Okay. Yeah, man. I really believe like the Lord wants to heal you. I don't even know. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. Yeah. And it could be both years, whatever. I just, I feel like a word of knowledge came on the left ear from something I saw on the plane. And it's so stirring. Were you saying the baby got raised from the dead? Oh, yeah, yeah. So we've seen a couple of people raised from the dead in the last six months, but the baby was, I don't, I don't think it was a debt, but it was the point where it was no longer, it was just lifeless in a sense that we see it a lot there that these babies have something. And it literally just all day long doesn't do anything. Parents try to like keep it alive by feeding it, but it doesn't move. So just speaking Jesus. And it just came back. And the whole time we were there, it was completely fine. And so, yeah, come on. Jesus. Wow. That's so good. I am over three on dead raisings, but I'm trying just to be real with you. Three and a half. I tried to raise a dog from the dead too. I count that as like, I count that like a half. I was just born again, man, six months, his dog got smoked on the side of the road. And I didn't, I was fine, but the people were weeping. It was their dog. I was like, watch this man, the power of God, they're going to get born again when this dog comes back and he didn't. So we're still trying. I mean, the Bible says just cast out devils, raise the dead, heal the sick. Yeah. So we've got to go for it. I love that man. What pastor Tom just saying that's what the world needs, the real Jesus and the earth. And so let's just go for it. But anyway, I believe the Lord also touch you left ear. And then this is another crazy one. Uh, I don't know how to really, you know, we'll just throw it out there and see, but on the plane, I saw, does anybody drive or own or drove a Lexus a car? You can raise your hand. Okay. Oh, got some big money in here. I'm teasing. Take up an offer. Another offer. No, I'm totally teasing. Uh, but you know, you guys, I'm sure get the prophetic. It comes in symbols and pictures at times. It's really unique. And, um, just how the Lord speaks on the plane. I was in prayer and I saw a doorknob, um, with Alexis symbol on it. And, uh, I feel like it's going to open. There's an open door for somebody in here that drives the Lexus. The Lord's very personable like that. And, and when I encourage you guys and pray for you, there's going to be an open door, like a major shift of some sorts and, and, uh, destiny. And want to share that before we get going. Cause I'll forget it. Love to pray with you guys at the end. How many, you need healing in your bodies in here? You can raise your hand. Awesome. Not that you need healing, but you know what I mean? And, uh, we've just been seeing the Lord move powerfully. You know, he just, uh, he heals the sick, raises the dead and everything. You just want to pray for you to, you'd be touching your bodies, uh, freedom from all facets. The Holy Spirit, you know, the Bible says wherever the Holy spirit is, there's complete Liberty. And if we'll let him move, um, he'll really set people free. So faith, what's going on? Did you come from Canada? Are you in the States right now? Oh, roundabout. Okay. Um, just seeing a lot of familiar faces, some powerful whole row back here. These women, they would have been on a crusades with us. We'd go twice a year. How many women are really being raised up in this hour? They always have been around, but yeah, I'm telling you, you got to watch out for them. They're dangerous. Uh, so anyway, let's jump in. I'm going to pray. Is that okay? Just look to Jesus, Jesus. We love you. Thank you God for this house right out of the gate. I speak the blessing of God on this house, Tom and Katie. Thank you be glorified. We pray come Holy spirit, glorify Jesus. I pray in Jesus name. Amen. Awesome. So, Oh, what time are we kind of watching here? Does it, uh, just whatever. Okay. No, we'll keep you guys too long. We'll make a time for prayer and there'll be back with you all in the morning. It's going to be awesome. How many of you are coming back tomorrow morning? Might as well. You're kind of snowed in. I mean, I don't know where else you're going to, yeah, no, you should have seen this boy was a site. There's like mountains of snow on the sides of the road. I'm like, Whoa, you know, if you get off a little bit, I'm in a rental too. I'm thinking, give me all the insurance you got. I'll just click in the buttons. Yep. Take that one. That one. I was like, he's like, he's like, do you know what that one does? I don't know. Just click it. Take that one. Trust the Lord, but you use wisdom as well. You know, but, uh, but yeah, so I want to talk to you briefly. Um, and I, I may veer off. We'll just see what the Holy spirit goes. But, but lately I've really been sensing, um, kind of two main thumps from the heartbeat of God. They're beating pretty heavy in a, in a beautiful way in this hour. I mean, you know, you can just feel things are ramping up, man. And I'm, that's what I love about this house. I can feel it. I could just sense Tom's heart and, and really the Lord in a beautiful way I feel is just separating the men from the boys, so to speak in the women, from the girls, you know, in the church. And it's a really good thing. Um, a lot of the shaking and things like this, um, you know, they just really show you where you're at. Have any of you felt shaken yourself even I know we all have, and it kind of just, it's a good thing. It shakes that which can be, and it immediately makes you adhere to that which can't be, which is his kingdom. And so, um, anyway, in that though, I feel like the Lord is looking for his bride, of course, in this hour, Shereen, what's up? Did you, you came from the east? Yeah. Wow. Anyway, just a bunch of amazing people are saying anyway. Um, but he's looking for a bride right now in this hour, relationally, this living so pure, not a lot of legalism, none of that love that Tom talked about the blood. It's the only way through his blood, but I'm just hearing this, these two main themes of purity like never before and intimacy, like we've not yet known. And he's just hitting a man and it's so, so precious and beautiful. And he's, he's just slowly I'm seeing with the people that are willing, he's pulling them so out of this world system till they can fall so in love with him. And then he's possessing them. I'm telling you, you're going to see him come out of the woodworks. These people that these no-namers come out of nowhere, full of power flowing in the river of the spirit in this hour that the world needs to see you guys tracking with me. But, but I'm telling you, it's got to land on an Ephesians five bride without spot or wrinkle. And I won't go into it, but January 9th, they went into a vision that, um, tied into this on this, this consecrated topic. It ties back to the Nazarite vow in scripture. Didn't really know much about it. I knew of it, but not a lot. And it basically means Nazir consecrated once. And I knew the Lord was after this. He's consecrated ones in this hour. And, um, it's just beautiful because he's really doing it in scripture. You see three main Nazarites that were explicitly kind of set apart through scripture. General Samson, Samuel, and John the Baptist in the gist of it with this company is they were set apart ones in a special way. You know, and I believe the Lord's looking for that in our hearts right now. And there was these three main, I won't keep you guys long on this. I just want to hit it and then, and then make room for the spirit. But when this hits, I've seen it when purity, sometimes it's the slightest shift in our heart. And when it's made the Holy spirit can land more fully in our life. And, uh, certainly these three, three pillars in these consecrated ones that you see, or I'll go here. So I won't, uh, get some scripture to back it and everything. But the first one we, I'm going to give you a new Testament, a new covenant lens on this, but the first one was abstaining from wine. Okay. In this, uh, vow grapes, vines, anything like this. And, uh, second one, refraining from cutting your hair. Todd white has us all covered on that number three, I'm teasing. Uh, number three, touch no dead thing. Okay. Just three things. And I was like, Lord, cause I went into a vision. I was very surprised, just loving Jesus. I don't even know. You go to the secret place just to love Jesus. But sometimes when you enter through that door, he shares things that really matter to him in the hour. Well, this was one of those ones that I get taken into this vision on January 9th, where I see these, he's looking for these consecrated ones in this hour. If it is it popular, who cares really, man, we've got to get deep into his heart, find out where he's at. And if it's the fad or not, it does not matter right now. And to detach from these men, there's so many voices right now and swirl. You know, we just need a pure voice of God, the potent presence of God. And that's it really. I find myself simplifying more and more in life and would encourage you guys the same. We've got a young ones in here in the teens, any teenagers all in the middle, the teens just do y'all know each other? No, that's crazy. Teenage river over here. And then over here, how old six, 16. Nice. Anyone's over here. How old 16, 18. My daughter's 19. She's at home, by the way. Hopefully she can come next time. I was going to say, if I ever get to come back, book me this time of the year, every time I was thinking, man, this is glorious. I feel like I'm in the, uh, you know, that animated movie frozen with the, oh man, I was like, this is glorious. And so my daughter, she's at home with, um, our, uh, bulldog, his name's bullseye. He's a, he's something, man, but, uh, she's 19 and, uh, Judah 17. So anyway, you, you get it, but I want to encourage you as start. Now I got born again at 20, just like Tom, I was really out there. Felonies just out there just didn't have a gauge for what was, you kind of just didn't, there was no grid. Yeah. You just, there was no stopping point kind of extreme. And so, but when you're on there, the wrong kingdom, the extreme doesn't work so well. Yeah. So born again at 20. And, uh, I want to encourage you. You born again, putting you on the spot. Okay. Awesome. Born again. Praise God. Yes, ma'am. Awesome. If not, you got to give your life to Jesus. There is nothing else out there. Yeah. There's nothing else out there. It's all plastic and faking. Uh, but I want to encourage you start early, simplify as much as you can cram of Jesus in your world and everything else that even things that are permissible, but not beneficial. The Lord's going after right now. I'm telling you with a fine tooth comb, he's just cutting off the fat and it's so freeing. Let the Lord simplify your life right now. I'm telling you, simplify, cut all the voices, the noise, the things that, like I said, that, that Paul writes even might've been permissible in last seasons, but are no longer beneficial. And, uh, you'll soar. The Lord will trust you with him in a, in a deep way and you'll soar. But anyway, touch no dead things. The third one, and just want to give you a quick breakdown of like a new covenant lens. Cause I held it before the Lord. I was like, Lord, what are you really looking for in these consecrated ones? I want to be that, you know, I'm talking to myself as well. And, uh, so this is what I got out of it. Um, that I'm sure there's plenty of profound other revelations and breakdowns from it, but just before the Lord with me, I was like wine, grapes, raisins, what, you know, what for new covenant lens. And with me, John 15, Jesus is the true vine, the Bible says. And so I just want to have this hit home. Hopefully they would consecrate set apart in a new way, but listen to this abstaining from wine, the first one, grape or anything from the vine. This speaks of the intoxication of this world, the mixture that this world brings in dialing down our spiritual clarity and acuteness in him. I was like, hold on what you could have told him anything, but there's a certain thing, even in acts 18, there's a, there's a small random verse where Paul says he cut his hair. Cause he was under a vow. It's pretty much well understood that the apostle Paul even took a small window of a Nazarite down the new covenant. So it, it crossed over, but I'm like abstain from wine. Okay. I mean, but what's the new covenant, you know what I mean? Take on this. And because everything speaks of Jesus, Jesus says the scripture speak of me. So just so you know, anywhere you're reading, you know, it's, it's the Lord, but the wine of this world speaks of the drinking in here. It is mainly and partaking of lesser lovers that are imitations of the true vine found in Jesus Christ. So this number one, the third one's the obvious sin. The wages of sin is death touch. No dead thing. We'll get there, but that's obvious. Number one. And I believe this is the main struggle we deal with in the church at times. I'm plenty guilty as well. You know, depending on seasons, we all can relate, but the things that bring fulfillment to us that aren't so much, you know, aren't dead things. They're not blatant sin so much, but like they're, um, um, false vines. They're not Jesus. They're their fulfillments. We draw from other things other than Jesus. Does that make sense to you guys? And these consecrated ones, they don't even have those in their life anymore. And this is what the Lord's looking for. Cause he's raising up a bride. Um, I have their, their life's pleasures that slowly seep into our life and overtake our peer undivided devotion to him. I'll say that again. Their life's pleasures that slowly seep into our life and overtake our peer undivided devotion to him. I'm not saying be like some religious stickler. You guys know what I mean? Like, um, me and Judah watched, uh, was it do little on the plane just now? That was pretty wild. It's like a PG, you know, um, Disney movie. Have y'all heard of that one? He's like, uh, animals. And so that was fun. But then I locked, I got secret place. The whole rest of the flight is awesome. Way better. But I'm just saying, you know what I mean? We, we live life for you. I'm not saying be a hermit, live in a cave. But also I'm saying, I think far too often if we watch it, we give our attention and our desires to so many other things than the Lord and his presence alone. Does that make sense? And that we'd reassess where we're at again, not from legalism at all, but I really feel the Lord is, I'm going to hopefully springboard tomorrow morning into some of this from the intimate slant, but he's looking for people that are wholeheartedly after him. Um, listen to Mark four, 18 through 19. Others are like seeds on among thorns. They hear the word, but listen to this, the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desire for other things come in. That's what the, this realm is. These other vines, worries of this life, deceitfulness of wealth and desire for other things. Um, listen, the Holy spirit will make it known to you, whatever that may be, but it's other things that I'm telling you. It, it very subtly dilutes the true vine of Jesus Christ flowing in our life and his voice becomes obscure. Our passionate desire for him starts to get dull. You guys know what I'm saying? This happens through time. And again, not out of legalism, but just pure hearted devotion to the true vine. I believe he's looking for, um, I'll go on these others real quick. The first hits home with believers more than any of us. But the second one refraining from cutting our hair, this, uh, basically from their cultural day, anybody with long hair back in Samson's day, Samuel, all of them, you were basically an outcast. It was really looked down upon. So this speaks of the fear of man breaking that off of us in this hour. We've got to have it, man. That's what I love. What Tom was talking about. Like we've got to be the real deal. We we're not going to be like a popular crowd. Do you guys know that? Yeah. It's we're getting more and more unpopular. So just why care? Well, you got to be relevant, brother. No, I'm not doing relevant. I'm doing the word of God, the Holy ghost, fire, power, the blood of Jesus. Yeah. I'm telling you, man, that the more I can feel it within me, I just, I need to find a healthy balance of staying in love though. Cause I get, I just, I gotta do better. Help me. Holy spirit. Like anyway, out and out and with stuff that's going on, they're just in a different, and that's okay. But I got to stay in love, but you know what I mean? I'm trying to generalize it, but, but anyway, uh, I'm telling you just, we've got a, and the Holy spirit will help us. But the fear of man will dilute everything. Look at the verse here. Galatians one 10 Paul writes for, am I now seeking the approval of man or of God, or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. It's impossible to continually yield to the fear of man and be a servant of Christ. You guys tracking with me to the fear of man. That one's got to go immediately. Here's another one that the Lord's on right now. Matthew 10, 26 through 28, but don't be afraid of those who threaten you for the time is coming when everything that is covered will be revealed. All that is secret will be known, made known to all. I don't know what version you guys are in. Okay. Uh, what I tell you now in darkness, shout abroad. Even when daybreak comes, what I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops. Listen to verse 28. Don't be, be afraid of those who want to kill your body. They cannot touch your soul. Fear only God who can destroy both soul and body in hell. That's Jesus, man. That's red letters. I mean, this is the gospels. So the Lord's only, we've got to really just who cares in the Lord's like, here's a company I can entrust myself with. They're not swayed by the fear of man, the fads of society. They just are infatuated with me and want to show me in the earth. You know what I'm saying? So this is a big one. Third one, I'll, I'll land this quick and we'll just see where we go. Touch no dead thing. This is the obvious and it's still, it's still happening of course, but um, you know, it's just the blatant, obvious things of sin touch. The Bible says the wages of sin are death. So just want to encourage you guys. I can already feel it. It feels so pure in here, but if anybody's still struggling with things, um, you just want to let it go. You know, it's for sure. Um, I think it's Joshua chapter three, verse five says, purify yourselves for tomorrow. The Lord will do great wonders amongst you. A lot of us, there's a threshold into a promised land that you're not going to enter into with the wages of sin still in your life. They're not going to go there. Not questioning your salvation. Jesus still loves you, but there's this purifying factor he's taking us into and you just want to touch no dead thing. And so I just want to propose like that the, the sharpness of the Holy Spirit, the conviction of the spirit, he's so pure and Holy again, not legalism. You guys hear me. He's so filled with love and mercy and slow to anger and kind. So not that, but also he's so Holy and pure that Isaiah gets caught up in Isaiah chapter six. He's like, Whoa, I'm a man of unclean lips. And one of the baddest prophets in the land gets caught up in real glory. He's like, Oh my gosh. And I'm the fear of the Lord is coming back in this hour. Um, he's really on that right now. Purity and touching no dead things. So I want to encourage you guys in life, these things that just those sins that so easily beset us that we, we, we cast them off looking unto Jesus. Um, one story I love with, with Smith Wigglesworth, I've been sharing it lately. You guys know Smith Wigglesworth. You've heard him yet. He's bad to the bone. Uh, his ministry, uh, display. I don't know if I would teach that way. I heard he, uh, he punched a person in the stomach. One time tumor flew out of him. I don't think them just punching the devil in them. You know, I'm like, all right, that works for you. It's like five fold ministry. Um, I heard another one. He punted a dead baby to life. I think, yeah, he's field goal, man, Pam, baby came back to life. I'm like, wow. He was rough. He was a plumber till age of 40. He got born again. Never read any other book, but the Bible. And, uh, I think he had a third set of teeth when he passed on supernaturally, he was walking man full of life. Crazy. He just totally healthy. And, um, but he, he, he was so set apart. And again, I want to convey it. I'm talking to me too. Just watch with the one I'm watching the Lord, what he's after right now, not legalism, you know, not works and not of yourself. We, you can't be Holy for one split second without the presence in blood of Jesus. There's no way that's worked. So that's, that's not what I'm talking about at all. And I'll hopefully, um, kind of bring the other book in tomorrow on intimacy, but also I want to quote some verses that I think we, we miss sometimes in scripture. Listen real quick. And I'll go back to Smith over where it goes worth. Hopefully James one 27 religion that is pure and undefiled before God. The father is this to visit orphans and widows in their affliction. And listen to this to keep oneself unstained from the world. Where do you see the blood and grace of Jesus doing it right there? It totally applies. You can't do it outside of that. What version? What did y'all say? Do you keep once? Yeah, same as mine. Nice. I think I'm in the new living, but new, new American standard. Anyway, keep yourself unstained. So what, where I'm going to quote these verses are, uh, to you that apply is a cooperation. And sometimes we get, we get it on the, the grace of Jesus alone and not tying in what? Oh, that's awesome. Um, but the cooperation, the pliability, the yielding of our life as well with the blood of Jesus, his grace that we can't do it without. So it's, it's, it's a both. And, um, but keeping ourselves unstained, he's looking for that right now. Cause listen to me, the, the current of the world is only increasing. You don't even want to step near the banks of that current right now. It's only strengthening the deception, the darkness, the potency. It's not something to, you know, uh, like my kids will tell you, and again, it's not legalism. We just don't, we don't play that. I'll go to where it goes with now. Lester Summerall came to his door, a powerful man of God. And, uh, he was just going to visit him once over in Europe or whatever. And he has the, the story goes, he had the daily newspaper under his arm going to visit, uh, Smith Wigglesworth. They said Smith would go, he would take pastors. They begin to seek God. The glory would get so thick and Smith would just tell him, just stay as long as you can. Cause when heaven comes, you're not gonna be able to handle it. They just sit there and wait hours, glory in the increase of the manifest presence would come so strong. They say, pastor would have to crawl out of the room from the weight and the presence of God and the manifest glory says Smith Wigglesworth still be in there. Just boom, gone in the presence. Sorry if I'm messing something up or if it's, yeah. So anyway, Lester Summerall comes to the front door, Smith Wigglesworth opens the door and he's not like, good morning, Lester. How you been? You know, top of the day to year. And it's something like that. He's, he notices the newspaper under his arm. He says, what's under your arm? He's like daily newspaper. He goes, lies. Those stay outside of my house. Those don't come in my house. And, and again, if you watch the news, I'm not trying to say, Oh, you know what I'm saying? I'm not trying to, but I'm just saying you can sense it right now. There's this pure river of the Holy spirit flowing and building momentum. And there's little to nothing of the world being allowed in it right now. The, in those banks are starting to get farther and farther apart in the darkness of the current of the world is getting darker, the deception more and more true. And, and, uh, and so that these rivers are separating right now. And so in the, I was just with a different, um, Michael, we were saying the same thing in Orlando recently. We, we feel like there's this, this, this blade coming right down the middle of the church, even, and just splitting it right now. And it's happening fast. And I just want to say, if you've got anything in you, the enemy can sift right now. It's not going to work in this hour is God just up there. No, he's so loving and kind of impatient and true. You know, I keep wanting to bring both, but he's looking for this bride right now. That's yielding is such a pliable way. No other lovers, not why care anymore. Just simplify. That's what I'm telling you. Young kids cut it out, man. Listen, you want, your faces will glow like light bulbs. If you let heaven end gaze at Jesus for hours and these Marys at the feet, and you'll just carry a different substance about you. You'll be set apart from this generation and though he's low out there, but there's something about him. I don't know what it is. He's different. Yeah. But you, you know what I mean? People are getting this sick or being healed. A member of members of your family getting born again. You're just flowing in butter and favor doors opening up there. Everybody's producing Ishmael's. You've got Isaac's happening. Promise after promise. And you ever seen those young people that just get born again? It seems like they just skyrocket in the Lord. You're like, man, I've been serving the Lord forever. How'd they, you know, they're just so infatuated with him. They don't know any different. They're so caught up in the gaze and love with him. There's nothing else attached to them. Those sins that so easily entangled, they, they pull you back. And, um, but listen to a few more of these verses. I don't know if Lester ever got in the house or not, but anyway, but the point is it's like, that was another thing. Touch. No dead thing. They said Smith Wigglesworth at like certain, um, special events where you had to cut the, is it a boutonniere on the men, the flower? Yeah. He wouldn't even let them put it on his jacket. Cause it was already dead. He took the Bible serious. Again, I'm not saying start doing that. I think they're beautiful. Put them on. If they work, I'm just the point is, you know, he'd be like, no, no, that's dead. You cut that for his dead. It doesn't touch me. I'm life power. I mean, he just, he believes so much in the kingdom and all I'm saying is the mentality in this hour. You guys know what I'm saying? And look, family members are going to think you're starting to get out there. Then let them think it, man. I want heaven. I don't know about you. I want, I want, I want to run with people that are after him, possessed by him. No, nothing else consumed by the word caught up in his gaze. Know his voice. So crystal clear. And there's just nothing else that matters. There's no thing else that matters. It's not out there. It'll just bog you down and slow things down. And, um, but listen to this one. Second, Timothy love this one been quoted a lot lately versus 19 through 23. Paul, he's writing to Timothy, his top man. Okay. Timothy was a gunner and listen what he writes to Timothy, but God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this inscription upon it. The Lord knows those who are his, how many of you in here are his, the Lord's all right, just check it. And all who belong to the Lord must turn away from evil. You see that it doesn't say everybody that belongs to the Lord, the Lord will make sure and turn them away from evil. You've got to do it. It's like, but I already belong to the Lord. No, but there's still a keeping yourself unstained. There's still a, you turning away from evil. And, um, in a wealthy home, Paul goes on to write. Some utensils are made of gold and silver. Dina, did you come from New York? Did all y'all come from the East Carol? What's up? Okay. Oh, so y'all just been all over. Okay. Yeah. They've been in crusades with us casting out devils. They're there. Some of the dangerous bunch, but I was wondering, I was like, man, she's, she's in New York. Anyway, listen to this in a wealthy home. Some utensils are made of gold and silver. Some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions and the cheap ones for everyday use. How many of you want to be a cheap utensil for everyday use? Exactly. And if you raise your hand, I didn't mean to set you up, but the, you want this and you want to be the expensive utensil for special occasions. Basically the Navy seal of heaven. That's what you were born for. Young man. Now I can feel heaven on you, bro. Where are you from? It's at around here. Some Spokane bro. That's where John G. Lake is. Uh, come on, man. Yeah. I remember seeing his grave. We tried to raise somebody from dead over there and that was one of my O for threes. But anyway, that's awesome. That's what Tom said. It wasn't, it wasn't John G. Lake, but um, nah, man, I just keep feeling drawn to you, bro. I would love to pray for you. 16. You said, well, you got a goatee already though. Come on, man. I like that bro. This dude is mature in the spirit and, and in the natural. Anyway, expensive utensils for special occasions, cheap ones for everyday use. I like to liken this to these, the cheap ones are like sporks. You ever like Taco Bell sporks that they're useless. Do you know what I'm talking about? You can't, they're like, you can't poke anything with it, but you can't really do it. It doesn't really work like a spoon, complete trash. But the special ones, you know, you bring out at Christmas special occasions. So listen to this. Uh, he's sneaky, man. I never know. I never know when, uh, at times, but, um, listen to this. So, so Paul's telling Timothy about the, uh, cheap ones, the sports versus the special ones. And listen to this one prerequisite Paul makes. If you want to be one of the other, it's real simple. I was like, oh my gosh. He says, listen, Timothy, if you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. I'm telling you one of the main things in this last hour is very, very simple. Keep yourself pure. How gazing at Jesus. You can't do it outside of intimately looking at him. I'm going to bring that book in tomorrow, but, um, but listen, keeping yourself pure unstained from this world, turn away from evil. It's really big. And you're going to get outcast even more. People are going to think you just don't relate. You're not relevant. Listen to me. The only thing that's relevant really in this earth is the manifest glory of God, period. Anything, Jesus and all Jesus is the most relevant thing that will ever touch this globe. Period. I don't care what the fad is. Nothing. None of that matters. Whatever who's doing, what the, the, uh, when I hear that, I'm like, there, there is nothing more relevant than the blood and word and voice and power of G. There is nothing else. You're too heavenly minded to be any earthly good. That makes no sense at all. It doesn't add up. So you want to get way, way out there full of heaven and just be a walking glory bomb around the earth. And then when their parents or somebody gets sick, then they're going to call you. Cause that's the only way you're the only channel for having a flow through in the earth. The most valuable people in this globe. We're having filled people period. So anyway, just don't fall for the, you know what I'm saying? You, you, you hear those things, but especially so, okay, let's do it this way. Everybody wants to be a special utensil, not a spork. Yeah. Paul made it real simple. Keep yourself pure. Isn't that awesome. So we go home like, help me hold his bridge. That's awesome. And God's like, yeah, yeah, love it. Not mad at you. Not condemning, not legalistic, none of that, but love you. Yes. A few of those things that are still hanging around. That's those things that aren't going to work in this next season of my Holy spirit and the pure river flowing this bride. I need without spot or wrinkle. And so we allow him to simplify and pull them out of our lives. Watch this next one. I'll quote a few more. And then, um, what we'll pray, uh, first Thessalonians five, 20, 20 through 24. Uh, people love to quote. And so do I versus 23 to 24 watches. Now may the God of peace make you Holy in every way. And may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen for he, who calls you as faithful. So see, he does. He makes you Holy. He gives you the grace. He keeps you pure, but people don't back up to verse 22. It says, stay away from every kind of evil back up again. Don't quench the Holy spirit. Don't scoff or, you know, um, despise prophecy. So you see this cooperation is where I'm getting, getting at, sorry, in scripture, where it's our yielding, our keeping ourselves pure, our staying unstained from the world, but also Jesus doing it, making us pure. You guys know what I'm saying? And if we're not careful, sometimes we major on these other truths that are totally true, but we need the balance of both. Hebrews 12, one, you know, there's a bunch. I won't keep bogging you down with this, but, but they're just beautiful. And they're in there. Uh, if you want to take notes and, and go later, Hebrews 12, one through two, I quoted that one Romans eight, 12 through 14, first Peter one, 14 through 16. And another one, uh, that Tom quoted revelation 19, seven, man, a song. So good. Did upper room right. That the, the making self ready. Yeah. What is it? Oh, them together. Oh, okay. Yeah. It's got juice on it, man. I looked at you. I said, that's that one, bro. We were just at a different conference than they did it. And, uh, man, it's something, but plus you guys don't help the problem at all. It's so annoying to ditch his lamp. So good. Um, but, uh, his bride has prepared herself. So this is preparing, you know, and, uh, just want to encourage you guys with that. We'll pray and just, um, make room for the Holy spirit to flow, but whatever it may be to all of us, but I feel like the Lord is calling us higher in such a beautiful way. And again, not legalism at all, but just a freedom, you know, in a full devotion to him that can bring about just the true vine in Jesus Christ and bring about that, that peer relationship back to him. How many of you know, he's a jealous God. He is man. And, um, the more, cause we'll pray things like, Lord, I want to go deeper. I want more of you to be like, I do too. But the river I'm flowing in these, in this hour, so pure, I need these things can't get in this river and we want to hang on to it, but we want things to go deeper and deeper and it doesn't work like that. So, so let's pray and then, um, see where we will, we'll go. If you want to just look to Jesus, Lord, thank you so much for your kindness, your goodness, Holy spirit. I pray you just rest upon everyone even now. And everybody just say this after me, say, wash me, Lord Jesus. It's just that simple. Give us a grace, Holy spirit to, um, follow you in a wholehearted way, simplify, really start to cut things out of our life, our schedule that would, um, just desensitize our hearts to you and our, um, ability to hear you and love you and know you in Jesus name. Amen. Uh, I was in the, uh, Brownsville revival years ago. This would've been 99. So I got saved in 98, 20 years old and, um, was a wreck man really out there from all angles. Uh, but immediately got thrust over to this Bible college in Pensacola, Florida. That was this revival called the Brownsville revival. So anyway, this evangelist, Steve Hill was there. He was really powerful. And it was so awesome. He'd always just say, wash me Lord Jesus. And when I encourage you, how many of the Bible says we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So thank Jesus for his blood. It consumes all mistakes, past, present and future. But also that doesn't give us the grace to just go live haphazardly. That's the whole thing I've been talking about. But when you fall, it's just washed me, Jesus, forgive me. Cause right now I'm noticing he's even upping, upping the ante a bit, going after motives in a loving way. His loving kindness leads us to repentance. He's so kind. He's like, yep. Why'd you say that right there? What were your motives there? He's going down to deep. I mean, fine tooth comb stuff in a beautiful way. And I want to encourage you guys, let him in, man, because it'll free us and set up a river that he can flow in. Like his presence will become more potent. His voice will become more clear. And it's really a beautiful thing, but you can just simply like, yep, I did that again. Forgive me, Jesus, forgive me, Jesus, that I told that lady on the plane, you know, this literally happened the other morning. She were you know, Zoe was with me on that one. Yeah. This is some of the stuff I deal with. Okay. I was going to be straight up with you. I'm not a big mask fan, man. I don't like those things. If you like them though, they got some cool ones. If you like them, I think it's awesome for you. I'm just being honest with you. They're great. No, there's some great ones. Um, the close people I'm with are do great with them too. But for, I just don't like, I feel uncomfortable. I can't breathe, whatever. So, but I was still, I do write where I'm supposed to, I try and get better at it. Like planes. You just no question on planes. They will. Yeah. I had security anyway. And yeah. So, uh, but this, I've got to find myself being in love though, like by the Holy spirit. So this lady, man, I just, my daughter was on this plane with me and I, uh, I was talking to the steward as quick. So I had to unlock my phone and in the, the face mask, this is, this is not favorable for these things. You can't unlock your face screen with them. If you try that, it doesn't work. So I had to pull it down to do my phone and I didn't have it down for like just a little bit. And this lady goes, she just gets on the plane and walks by me. She's like, put your mask on for crying out loud. You know, uh, it's federal law and starts writing into me. It's early in the morning. I'm flying back from Orlando. Yeah. I kid you not. Cause I got that side to my heart and really need the Holy spirit, you know? Cause if it's not, I'm not, you know, so I said, Oh, have a good morning. Are you? I kind of jabbed her. I was like, wait, I was like, wait, no, no, stop Brian. You don't do this because listen, nothing. When, when something's not done out of love, there's no fruit. You're just wasting your time. And so I had to catch myself. I was like, man, I know you guys never make these mistakes, but I, you know, in traffic, I don't always do the best anyway. So, but my daughter was probably thinking, Oh boy. And so, but I caught myself, thank the Lord. And I said, I said, I'm so sorry, ma'am. I had it on. I totally pulled it down for a second, you know, please forgive me. But I had to preach at her cause she was preaching at me, man. I'm finding nowadays and don't, don't get me wrong. I know the full balance on it all. I'm well-versed travel. I know. So I'm not trying to, you know, but I'm noticing too, if we're not careful, there's such a ramping up of things in fear and such that's countering the word. And it's, it's wanting to really force this other current momentum this way. And again, I get it with where people are at and different scenarios for sure. But my thing is when it becomes your sole conviction, you're preaching to me now. I don't know worries, but I may preach back at you. Totally. I said, I said, uh, I said no, but the only problem is I've just seen so many healings and miracles by the blood and power of Jesus. I'll just start going out. I mean, it gets real awkward then they don't want to talk now. You know what I mean? Cause it's not the, it's not the hot topic of the day. And, uh, but I'm thinking, man, you shouldn't like, you know, I was minding my business. So, um, but anyway, at times like that, it's like wash me Jesus and he's so kind and good and he'll, he'll help you change it and it'll be awesome. But yeah, so let's stand. I want to pray with you guys, if that's okay.
