Seeking to Be Unknown
Brian Guerin

Brian Guerin (birth year unknown–present). Brian Guerin is an American pastor, author, and founder of Bridal Glory International and Ascend Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Raised in a non-religious home, he became a Christian in college after a profound spiritual experience he described as a divine encounter with a falcon, which ignited his pursuit of intimacy with God. Guerin serves as the senior leader of Ascend Church, where his preaching emphasizes a deep relationship with Jesus, the power of God’s presence, and preparing believers for Christ’s return. He founded Ascend Academy, a ministry school, and travels globally, speaking at conferences and on platforms like TBN and GOD-TV, often highlighting signs, wonders, and prophetic insights. His books, including God of Wonders: Experiencing God’s Voice Through Signs, Wonders, and Miracles, To Know Him: Discovering Experiential Intimacy with God, The Altar: Preparing for the Return of Jesus Christ, and Divine Encounter, focus on spiritual growth and encountering God. Known for sermons like “Mary’s at His Feet” and “The Secret Place,” he encourages distraction-free prayer and devotion, drawing from Scriptures like Luke 10:41–42 and Matthew 6:6. Guerin’s ministry seeks to draw the Church into closeness with Christ, which he calls the “highest prize in life.” He said, “Your heart can burn, and you still not know Him.”

Sermon Summary
Brian Guerin emphasizes the importance of seeking to be unknown, reflecting on how Jesus often withdrew from fame and recognition to fulfill God's purpose. He highlights that Jesus warned people not to make Him known, fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah, which illustrates His humility and desire to serve rather than seek glory. Guerin encourages believers to adopt a similar mindset, warning against the temptation of self-promotion and the pursuit of fame, which can hinder one's relationship with God. He asserts that true servanthood and divine empowerment come from a heart that seeks to remain hidden and focused on God. Ultimately, Guerin calls for a return to humility and a deeper connection with God, where His spirit can work freely in those who are willing to be unknown.

Starting in verse 15, we're going to read through it and then I'm going to hit some other verses and we'll come back. But when Jesus knew it, Matthew 12, 15, When Jesus knew it, he withdrew from there. Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all. Yet he warned them not to make him known, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, behold in whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my spirit upon him, and he will declare justice to the Gentiles, he will not quarrel nor cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, a smoking flax he will not quench, till he sends forth justice to victory, and in his name the Gentiles will trust. So I love this, I'll read another few verses then we'll just talk from my heart. John 6, 15, watch this. Therefore, when Jesus perceived that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, he departed again to the mountain by himself alone. Matthew 16, 20, you don't need to turn to these. Then he commanded his disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ. He often did not even allow even devils to bring him notoriety. And of course, you could preach this from a million different ways, it was before his time, he wasn't to be promoted king because he was supposed to die on the cross, and these things are true. But Matthew 12 clearly says, if you read it slowly, watch, we'll back up. Verse 16, yet he warned them not to make him known. Why, you ask? Verse 17 says that he might fulfill a prophecy Isaiah gave. So where I'm getting at is this is also a full-blown attribute of Jesus our king that he's looking for in his bride. And it's this thing about him that he's seeking to be unknown. He warned them, do not make me known. Not because it's before its time, he did this often, but this specific verse says that he might fulfill Isaiah 42. That prophecy is in Isaiah 42. And this is where God's like, behold, my servant, this is him. You won't even hear his voice in the streets, he's not trying to be heard. He's trying to hide. There's a side to him, he doesn't like the high places. He wants to remain unknown. I see it as like this race, you know, of society, you know, where like, say everybody's at the start blocks getting ready to race. Onto, sorry, this thing of being known. We're going to hit it in a second. It's the greatest, I feel, temptation the devil brought to Jesus. There's something about it in humanity, flesh, that's not Holy Spirit, not pleasing to God, that wants all eyes on me. Notice me, see me, I need the credit, me, me, me. And Jesus is total opposite. And I pray this would get on us. We'd find pleasure in the opposite. So like humanity's at the starting blocks, race is ready. We're racing onto who can get there first to climb the ladder of self-fame, notoriety, recognition. And it comes in so many different forms and fashions. And we've all been there, it's fine. But I feel like Jesus is at the blocks, like, what are we doing again? Human Jesus, he's 100% God, 100% man. Gun goes off, all of humanity, and I'm telling you right now, it's rampant, about 99%. Check, check, there we go. Takes off, racing, the race of life. Smokes in the air, all the dirt and dust, they're racing for this thing. Networking, all these different means by which it happens. And it creeps in, and we start to attach it to, oh, this is God, and it'll give him more recognition, all this stuff. And the guns go off, and Jesus goes. He's like looking for somewhere to hide. And he's so secure there. Look, you get around people that are quiet, there's so much power on them. They don't need you to know anything about them. They're so secure, they don't need you to know their resume. They just need to obey him. The gun goes off. Jesus is not a child to run that race. He strictly urges, is what that word warns me, do not make me known, I'm telling you. My heart, I wish I could. I could if I wanted to heal the whole earth right now. But I'm just going to heal the masses that are following me now, but I'm telling you right now, don't make me known. And Matthew said, there it is, he fulfilled Isaiah 42. Bruised reed he won't break. Candle about to go out he won't put out. He seeks to be unknown, and God is pleased with this in this hour. Look, we'll make mistakes, but I'm telling you the kingdom's backwards to the earth. The earth is running this race, and it's such a heavy thing in society. It's jumping on the church. So anyway, watch this though. So. We'll turn to Matthew four, back up a few. Watch the temptation eight through 11. Chapter four verses eight through 11. So here we go. We all know Jesus gets tempted. He's in the wilderness fasting 40 days. And so Matt, the gospel of Matthew and Luke give us pretty extensive detail on what that looked like. Mark breezes over it fast. Didn't even tell you what all three are. John doesn't even mention it. He kind of alludes to it in different passages. But Matthew, I believe gives the perfect order. You know, Matthew's a tax collector. He probably had like QuickBooks on his MacBook Pro. I mean, he's been, you know, he's no one like checking it off. Like he, he's an order Luke. They know history shows as a physician. I mean, they're, you know, you've seen the signatures of physicians. They just give you a prescription and almost six to four weeks and you'll be healed. Or, you know, take medicine eight weeks. They're just really. I'm more having fun with it, but I believe you can see it really honestly in scripture. Matthew goes through the temptations. And look, if Jesus couldn't get human Jesus, because in this window, it's, it's humanity. Jesus, the devil is coming up. Jesus was 100% man while he was 100% God. And so, and he catches him in a 40 day fast week in the flesh. He's lived in the earth 30 years. So he's seen poverty and, and hurt and been rejected as a young boy. Like he knows the ways of the flesh. So this is when Satan comes and, um, he hits him with the first one. Can't get him hits him with the second. So it would be highly likely you'd save your greatest hit for the last and final one. Wouldn't it? And it has to do with this right here. Fame. I'm telling you, few people can walk in this lane. Yeah. I see two companies that that's most of humanity chases that carrot all the day of their life. And a lot of them never attained it. Some few obtained the carrot, but then crumble under it. Few people can handle this. This room. So Satan comes with the final and last it'd be like baseball. You know, Tommy, Chris, a lot of us played ball. If you can't get them to swing at the first, you are bringing the best pitch you've got. You know, which Tommy, would that be a fastball for your junk back in the day? Something, but you, you are trying to make them miss. And so Matthew says, after this one, this final last one, Jesus says away from me, Satan and Satan left. Angels came and ministered. Luke puts it in the middle, but he still says away from me, Satan. It was at the final. I believe Matthew had the order. Whole thing. Meaning this, this deal with being seen in a lot of us, we don't know it's really within us. We're at a small level of whatever it may be. Not me. But then you're like, well, then why at the workplace, you keep talking about yourself. Everybody sees you and you can get noticed and you can get a raise and politically correct and network. And there's just something with it in us that and what I'm about to show you in scripture is when we do that, you negate God's ability to breathe his spirit upon you and behold you. And Jesus knew this, but I love it. Force of first and foremost, that this was his like natural demeanor. He was not after that. He didn't care about it. Three years in the earth, he came even not very, very like he didn't stand out much as far as being handsome. The Bible says he was just kind of ordinary man. Um, wouldn't cry out in the streets. You'd walk right past him. A lot of us would be like, oh my gosh, man, I can watch this. You know, we would pull on that, that deity, but Jesus was the opposite. And so it says, um, in, in verse four, verse eight, watch this. It says, again, the devil took him. Up on an exceedingly high mountain and showed him, watch this, all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Two things. And he said to him, all these things I'll give you. If you'll fall down and worship me. Jesus said to him, verse 10 away with you, Satan for it is written. You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him only shall you serve. The devil left him and behold, angels came and ministered to him. So watch this. I propose. And again, you could teach this from so many different angles, but I love that. Matthew 12 paints Jesus in this way that he's trying to go the other way. And in that you'll find that God picks those people out of the earth and just possesses them by his spirit. He puts a behold on them. That's different than the others. But kingdoms of this world speak of, of course, the authority, the power. First off, he takes them to a high mountain, puts him on top. Jesus does not like that. And I pray we become more and more uncomfortable with being on that top mountain above everything. Human Jesus is like, get me as low as possible so God can be worshiped. You notice he says, no worship God and serve him only. As soon as you get high, you're starting to worship and serve you. You're worshiping your pure worship and serving God. It starts going out the window as soon as we want to be on top. Notice me, but it's in the name of God. I'm trying to recognize because my message, I've seen professional athletes hit the professional level. And they all, it seems like they always get pulled. Something goes wrong. And a lot of us are natural understanding as man would be like, no, the platform got to set them up so they can preach. And it's like, why does he often pull the rug out from under it? Because I think often they have to learn like, no, it's not on fame. I can use you regardless. There's few that you see. But, um, he takes me to a high place where he's exalted. Everything's below. And again, this is human Jesus, new poverty, new, all the struggles of humanity. And he's at the weak point of just fasting. And he says all the kingdoms of this world and their glory, the kingdoms of this world speak of the authority, obviously the power. A lot of people want it for that reason. Some people want fame so they can be the top notice me. Oh, you, Oh, little you, this is so not kingdom, but also with the kings of this world comes the fortune of it, the position. And this is another one that they're like fortune and fame are two currents that flow in the same river. They're always connected and they're, they're at the root of it, but, and their glory, again, the notoriety, the fame it's in there. And the devil's like, I'll give you all of it. Jesus says away from you, away from me, sorry, you know, away with you. That's how I would say it. And, um, depart from me, all this stuff. Um, we should worship and serve God alone. So watch this. Um, I have five points. I'm going to hit quick and then we'll, we'll pray. So again, in Matthew 12, we'll go back there. That's our main kind of staple passage. I want to point out like five, um, kind of highlights from this, this prophecy that Jesus fulfilled in Isaiah 42. And remember the Bible says right when he said, right when the Bible says he warned them not to make him known that, and that only fulfilled Isaiah 42. Not out of, you know, uh, things being ahead of their time, or he would get put on the cross too early or made King when he's supposed to die. All that's definitely biblical and true, but I love this side of the Lord. That's trying to be hidden. He wants to be known in heaven. He wants to be known there. And we're too busy often trying to be known down here and it's backwards. And when we do that, we get in the way of God, truly making us known there. That's what needs to be in focus. And I pray he'd find a lowly people here so he can plant them on the high red carpet of heaven. That that's where it's at. I'm telling you, I can feel it and I just see it getting in worship movements all over. Just look at me and, and God and all this stuff attached to God and God's in Jesus is like, no, no, no. That's the wrong race. Warn people not to know you. And again, here are the balance. I'm all about souls. We're all about testifying the word of God, discipling, making, making nations. So, uh, making disciples of nations, but you know, here, the balance is just this heart thing is what I'm addressing that I think a lot of us don't realize subconsciously is, is fueling. This desire to be known. And a lot of it is notice me. I'm at the top fortune connects with it. This will bring about a better monetary status for my life, whatever it is. And, um, but you see in verse 18 by Jesus saying by him, warning them not to make him known. God says this about him. Behold, exclamation mark. Right. When he said that he warned me, he says, look, I realize. And first off to, if you back up, he had just healed on the Sabbath. Invert in a chapter 12. And it says the Pharisees plotted to kill him. Jesus they're plotting now because he healed on the Sabbath. So it says he knew that and he left and multitudes followed him. So that will happen sometimes if the Lord wants to, that's fine. That I'm addressing the heart. So please hear me. Multitudes follow his heart of compassion, healed them all. But he knew what that would cause. Which in the natural, think if people are plotting to kill you, the natural flesh, you would say, Oh no, make it known. I need to up my popularity now because I've got enemies at high places trying to plot against my life and kill me. If anything, your natural flesh would be like, you know, if you just realize people are trying to kill you, you kind of want to, if anything, no, let them at least don't warn them. Let them make me know a little more. Cause then riots will start to break out. If they're trying to kill me, you know, you, you'd want to go that way, but still he warns them. He goes out of his way. Don't make me known. And right there, it triggers Isaiah 42, which causes this God saying, behold, exclamation Mark. And so I have here, when you create your behold, when you create your own behold, point the finger to yourself, you remove God's behold from your life. He's looking for people that are warning. I don't want to be, no, I don't care. They're so secure in him. They just want to get alone and see his smile. And when he's like, behold, those type people that behold exclamation Mark. But as soon as we're like, behold, and when I get the behold, I'm going to point it back to God. We have all these ways of doing it and we go behold, you remove God's behold. He's like, don't do that. Cause they won't mix. I can promise you the more you want to behold down here, the less of God's behold you'll get up there. And so it's super important. Um, I have here your own behold. It can look like this. Uh, look at me, notice me. What about me? Let me make sure and like these other platforms. So they will notice me so that my subconscious networking ploy behind it may create a better behold for me. And again, we've all been there. So this isn't a condemning thing. It's just like, oh yeah. Help me, Lord. Like he's so good. He'll come aside and be like, why'd you really do that? You know, he's, he's famous for that. You're like, yeah, you're totally right. Please forgive me. You set it that way and you did this or like that. Cause I see what you're trying to do. You're trying to create your own behold. That's a long track to get on and people end up on it forever. Jesus will not. And the father will not adjust his pure method. If you want the true ways of God. And I know it's harder in the natural, cause then you think nobody will see me, but that's what the Lord would do. And God has a way of finding these people, these roofs, these Davids. But as soon as we start creating our own behold, you remove God's power to behold you. Cause he won't bless that. He's not into it. And so, um, number two, first point is. Those seeking to be unknown warning others. Don't make me feel. I don't need the, I don't need that. You know, if God does it awesome, if others do it great, but you constantly see Jesus saying, Nope. Are they one of them? They try to make him King. He slipped away alone to be in prayer. Like he's just, he's not into that. And I think sometimes we see him as the lion of the tribe of Judah and roaring, but the Bible says he's not even trying to be heard in the streets. He's not looking for bull horns. Although that's awesome for evangelism. I love all of it. I'm just meaning the nature of the heart. You guys tracking with me. I prayed, get on us like pain us with it. Lord, we're, you know, there's a crowd of people and you're the last one to speak up, to be known about what, who cares. I'm telling you people that are secure and quiet and meek in him. They're dangerous. The devil fears them, but those people that always got us noticed. The Lord's like, Nope, he's looking for somewhere to hide. He's going out of his way. It's real important right now that none of you make me known. Triggers. One of the baddest prophets in the land prophecies from Isaiah 42, but those seeking to be unknown, you trigger God's behold of you in the earth. Number two, seeking to be unknown actually qualifies you to become God's true servant. You see inverse 18 behold, there's that first step. Then my servant, that word actually means slave, like a bond slave to God. Like you don't have a say, so you don't need one. You're fully yielded. And, um, so I have here the power, the path of self driven recognition will never overlap with the path of truly serving God. They're like oil and water. They don't mix. So if you're constantly trying to draw attention this way, but serve God, they won't work. Those paths never overlap, but those ones that want him known. And if he puts you up to be known, that's great. Who cares? Again, I'm just in the heart. Um, he's like, behold my true servant after he won't, he didn't do anything flashy. You would have thought I'd been after the multitudes got healed. No, all he said was, Hey, please guys, please don't make me know. I'm not looking for credit here. That's my assignment has nothing to do with what y'all are into down here. Y'all are into the whole fame and making people can't. I don't do all that. I'm coming to die for a bride one day and I don't need to be known right now. And right there, guys, behold, that's my kind. That's my servant. Walk right by wick about to go. So gentle. So meek, so quiet, mild. He steps back when the race and everybody's running, working the system. I love Jesus, man. He's, he's like no other. No one like him. And you get around him. You're like, man, let me be more like, it's just too perfect. He's too perfect, too complete and full. He doesn't need your wow. He doesn't need your, he does not care. He'll slip through a crowd, heal the sick and be over here before you know it. And he doesn't want the recognition. I love that man changes Lord. Number three, um, those seeking to be, to be unknown. God actually chooses those, right? Behold my servant whom I choose. He chooses those people. The longer. And I want to, I want to point this out. The more we seek to be known down here. Oh, you'll get chosen, but not by God. And that's where the mistake often happens. We get chosen by stuff that looks like God. Cause you were too busy. Look at me and old people notice you, but it won't be his perfect plan. But those are looking to hide. He's like, behold, all the angels are like, yes, finally. That's my servant, my slave. That's who I choose. But we, and again, we've all been there. We're down here. We just get too caught up in the now and wanting this and oh, you'll get chosen, but it won't be his highest way. I feel like, yeah, I had an example. Like, you know, if you ever, um, Hey, you, you guys, how are you? Good to see you again. I always get to run into y'all. We hit you in the stairway last week. Um, where are you all from? Like about an hour from here. I knew you said it was a drop. Oh, oh, Smyrna. Okay. Awesome. Um, I knew it was a drive for you, but I feel like this, like if God's picking teams, you know, like you would in school, whatever it may be, pick your little volleyball team or basketball, whatever. He's going to pick all the ones that aren't trying to be known. The unknowns, like literally that's what he's after in the earth. And it's so contrary to the flesh. It's so unlike us. That's why there's so few and far between, but I pray it would get upon us. Um, number four. So number one, seeking to be unknown triggers. God's behold. Let's go for that. Because when he behold you, it's over. No, nobody in the earth can stop that. The whole got one. God opens the door. No man can shut it. Those are the type doors that open when he beholds you. But when you behold you, you open all kinds of doors, but then they slam shut and get stuck halfway open. You're trying to squeeze through and it's just not good. It's not good. Or, you know, those ones that they're out of plum and the door won't shut good and you're hoping it'll shut, but you can't shut it. I just got to cram it. Seeking to be unknown. God's behold is what it attracts. You become God's true servant. God chooses you. And then I love this and listen to this one, verse four, because again, you can see this Isaiah 42. It's so clear. Right. When Jesus said, please don't make me known. It triggered an age old prophecy that said, behold, my servant, who I choose my beloved in whom my soul is well-pleased. This is crazy. So first off, my beloved is obviously super intimate love. We all want that, but I love to look at it even like this. God is love. There's no thing he can't love. He is the thing. But if he goes out of his way to also emphasize that his soul is well-pleased with you, he actually likes you too. That's big. You know what I mean? We're going to start pointing fingers. But because the Bible even says we are to love our enemies, but you ain't going to invite them to lunch. You know, you don't, your soul's not well-pleased. You don't like them. I was just being real. But he goes, my beloved, who also really, really like these are the people I love to hang with. This is what God's after. When he see, I'm telling you, it's hard. I get it because there's just so much opportunity. And if I just work this and go for it, but God's like, that's okay. I still love you. But man, my soul, I love and my soul's well-pleased with this guy. Right when I saw he did, he warned, please don't make me known. Behold, this prophecy comes into fruition. My servant who I choose and he's my beloved who my soul's well-pleased with. I love being around you. I just love the nature of that because it's who I am. Think about it. The Holy Spirit, you start to look at this side of God. I love it. The Holy Spirit didn't even have a name. Doesn't care to have one. You understand? He's just given a description, an adjective. He's completely equal with God, the father and God, the son. God's like, I am. He's still, he just can't fix it to a name because he's so full and in vast. He can't, there's just, I am. Jesus, at least in human form, gets a name. Holy Spirit's not even, doesn't even care. Completely equal with God. I've been graced on several occasions to see the angelic realm, you know, which is just Bible. It's just Hebrews one. When the Lord wanted to speak things. What I always love, my journey. They're always trying to be hidden. You wonder why angels are in here right now. The Bible says over 270 times. It re it refers to the angelic realm. We may teach on it one day. If you're born again in here, you have an angel that assists you. There's angels over cities and regions over churches and revelation. They're very, very busy. They bid to do his will. Hebrews one 14 says they're ministering spirits sent to do God's will. Uh, sorry. And, and, uh, minister to those who inherit salvation. They're busy, but why do you hardly ever see them? They don't want to be known. They don't care because they come from his presence. And you dare try and give them worship. Then don't, don't do that. In scripture. Don't do that. I'm a servant with you. But often when I've seen them either on purpose, once I can't see their face, they often don't want you to know their name. They don't want to be known. They come from his presence. They're bidding to do his will. I remember one nine feet tall monster, but he had his back turned in the foot of my bed. One night, a powerful experience, just revelation. I needed to know, but they don't want to be seen. They could bust in here any moment. And just wow. Everybody, they're not interested, not interested. They don't do the whole fame game. They're seeking to be unknown because they're hanging around the lamb. They come from his presence, man. It's a beautiful, beautiful people. And please hear me. He's going to put people on platforms and he uses them and praise God. But the heart of them, I pray would be like the Lord. Like, no, I don't care. I really uncomfortable here actually. But if it gives God glory, praise God and his bride, I'm telling you, they're going to be, they're going to look like this more and more. So God's beloved and whom he's well pleased. He actually likes them to be like, yep, this is my five and I'll lend it. Finally, last but certainly not least, he puts his spirit upon those who are seeking to be unknown, seeking to be hidden, having no desire for selfish recognition or fame of any sorts. I have here, you're going to see the wind of the spirit, God's supernatural favor and grace, which is his divine empowerment coming upon and behind. Those that are seeking to be unknown in this last hour. Next verse, right? Behold, my servant, who I'm choose my beloved and whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my spirit upon him. I believe in this last hour, these people that are seeking to be unknown, warning people, you know, you guys hear me. We don't have to get all legal and weird about it. Like if they're like, thank you for cooking that cake. Well, it wasn't really me. You know, you don't have to get weird. You guys know what I mean. I'm addressing the heart. Everybody starts to get like, well, I might've brought it. That may have been my cake. You know, like, no, we saw it in your hands. That's like false humility the other way. Okay. But, um, but I believe people were hits at the core level again, like the Lord, not weird, fake, you know, none of that. And if he exalts for the purpose of his, his purpose, praise God. I love all that. I really do. Dear friend of mine, Daniel Klein. I've seen him preach before the seas of a sea of people, but also he's super easy to go to a hotel and you never even knew he was up there. He, you know, you don't, you don't care. And, um, but I believe it says I will put my spirit upon him. And again, that prophecy didn't come into fruition until after he said, please don't make me know. I believe the Holy spirit is going to come in this last hour powerfully upon people that are like this. They're not caring to be known because the Lord's like, Oh yeah. And then the wind I'm telling you, I believe they're going to start coming out of the woodworks. Like where did they come from? And you'll look at them closely, but Oh yeah, they could care less. A lot of times I don't even know that, that the, the, uh, wind is hitting it. They don't know. Cause they don't really care. They're not interested. You know that whatever the Lord's doing with them, a lot of times they don't know because you're just caught up on him. But I believe the spirit super nasty is going to come upon and back people that take on this posture and simultaneously I believe the Lord is going to start removing and he already is. I can see it happening. He's removing people that are starting to elevate themselves the slightest bit. The people are starting to do behold. He's just pulling them. You're, you're starting to see the rug get pulled out from so many things. I believe, um, in this last hour, those that are deceived and don't walk with the Lord deeply are going to be fooled and caught off in those narratives of the beholds. And they're just going to be off on this spiritless journey. Thank you. And getting the goose bumps and the lights and smoke and, and I'm okay with lights and smoke. I'm meaning that this symbol of, of it, you know? Um, but I believe if you don't have a depth in the Lord, you're not going to know and get caught off in emotion and think all this stuff that's fueled by, by a self behold. Whereas the true remnant, the Lord is going to breathe his spirit upon and remove it from others. And I believe it's going to even hit the smallest areas of life, the workplace, the family, that he's going to start placing his spirit upon those children that, that start to grip this and get ahold of this, the humble route, the low pass. I'm not hitting the Lord. There they are. There's another Ruth. I've been waiting 10 years for another one to come to the earth. Watch how fast I get her to Boaz. These promises, when they're just willing to sell all, they do not care. The Mary of Bethany's Boston alabaster jar, all of everything she could have hung her hat on. We did a recent teaching on it. The worth there was possibly up to a year to three years salary that she just busted and gave it all. She could have built off that, built her a name and started to build a business, whatever. What you got to love that. But I just think the spirit is coming back in the church and, and, um, building these things back within his bride that are starting to be missing. And if we aren't careful to him, trying to expose what's getting on the church and we don't know it, it's starting to drive a lot of what we're doing in the name of him. And we're wanting to behold first and then give him his backwards. Never works that way. It goes this way, hide. And then he beholds. And even then you're just like, thank the Lord. What do you want me to do? I just want to obey. Okay. So, um, I've got a lot more notes here, but okay, well I'll read this and then we'll end it. Uh, the path of self-recognition and aspiring to be known with everybody creating their own beholds is coming down. There will be no spirit placed upon that. I'm telling you, try it or just watch the ones that are doing it and watch. You'd be like, there's no wind on that at all. It's actually the, it's going nowhere. They're gonna have to work that train hard. Cause it is not gonna move. Or you have to fool people with however you think it's moving. I'm telling you, there's not gonna be no spirit. Grace is supernational empowerment from God where he backs it. You start doing this behold thing. It's like the brakes. You're going to be in emergency brake mode. It's not going to move. Um, yeah, God is only placing his spirit upon those that are finding delight in remaining hidden. I love that you can continue to go. We'll just stop with the spirit upon him. But it says he will not quarrel or cry out in the streets. That word quarreling there means needless strife. He's not going to waste his time. He doesn't get caught up in all that needless strife to just get all over. Who cares to prove a point? He doesn't care. He's not going to cry out. Did you hear him? There's going to be all kinds of people racing and running. And you know, you can imagine people selling stuff on the side and look at me, look at me. He's just gonna creep right through. And if you aren't paying attention, you'll miss him. But those that are near him, they're right there beside him. Faithful, chosen, called. They're with the lamb. I have here nowadays, many people in the church are looking just like the world, seeking to be known, wanting their voice to be heard in the streets. Look at me getting loud, running towards the ladder of self-aim and making oneself known. You have a bunch more, but I touched on this. Watch this. I love this. We'll close it with this verse. Philippians 2, 5 through 11. Philippians 2, 5 through 11. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Meaning, this is the mindset of Jesus. This is how he thought. This is how Jesus really was. Who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God. But watch verse 7. I'm in the New King James. But made himself of no reputation. This is Jesus' true mindset. I love this about him. He's different. He's different. About 9 out of 10 people in the world, for sure, and even creeping into the church, just flesh how we are. We want a reputation. But man, you should just see how I do this. And I know this and what I did. And I want the credit. Jesus' mindset is to have the same mind as Christ. Who didn't count it equal. Robbery to be equal with God. But made himself. Meaning, he went out of his way to make sure he had no reputation. Are you guys hearing that? But it was only after the earthquake and the veil split. And everybody was like, oh my gosh, it was the son of God. He hid his whole way through the whole thing. But it's kind of hard when there's so many miracles and dead raisings and everything else. But he did his best. But he made himself of no reputation. Taking the form of a bond servant. You hear that? That's just what was Isaiah 42. He's my servant. Behold, my servant whom I choose. Anyway, there's just so much there. But you guys get the point. So let's stand and we'll pray.
