My burden was to see a church planted in Dublin and be involved and be set free. And I think God is giving me the burden. Craig told me just recently, I have burdens of my own. I said, brother, pursue those. Because what I have seen is God tends to be in those burdens and He will bring those to fruition. This guy has a burden. He said, when we were interviewing him, he said, I could give my life entirely to prison ministry. Church, you ought to encourage him that way. I'm encouraging him to make sure that every single man in the church gets to a jail or a prison at least once in their lifetime. And some of you, I hope the bug catches you. The burden for souls in those prisons like it caught a hold of him. Brethren, I know this, the devil, he sits up and takes notice when you have strategies to reach Hinduism and Buddhism and Islam. I know that. What I've recognized in the history of this church is we cannot send Matt and Leanne to the field. Send Kevin to the field. Send John to the field. Vest to the field. We're scattering these people and we're sending them forth. And then they have it where all the crazies get sent out. It's always got, Lord, please replace them now. Bring others in the place. Bring people that are hungry. Bring people that are radical. Bring people that are always thinking out of the box. Bring people that sometimes are a nuisance to the leaders. Because they always want to do these things. And it's like, ah, you know, I don't know. That doesn't seem like it's that great of an idea. But anyways, people that are always thinking. I mean, we've got to encourage those burdens. And I recognize we need a base. We need a base that gives and a base that prays and fasts. That is what is critical for the church at home. But you've got to have the Barnabas's and the Saul's going out. That's got to happen. There's got to be churches that are willing to give up their Timothy's to the foreign mission field. And I really believe that that is the greatest way. I've said this before. I didn't need to hear this, but it always rang in my ear. Back there in 2001 when Paul Washer came down to Community Baptist Church. His second message he gave was on missions. And he said, I have never seen a church that gives themselves to foreign missions. Be abandoned by God. And look, I haven't seen all the churches he's seen. But I've seen this church. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/bOjgZJTkwiE.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/tim-conway/clip-sending-out-your-timothys-to-the-mission-field/ ========================================================================
