There are four things which God cannot do:

(1.) He cannot lie.

(2.) He cannot die.

(3.) He cannot deny Himself.

(4.) He cannot look with a favorable eye upon iniquity.

He is a God of such infinite purity, that He cannot look

upon iniquity but with . . .

a hateful eye,

an angry eye,

a revengeful eye, and

with a vindictive eye.
