Felt that prayer. I appreciate it. Uh, we're glad to be here. What a great ministry here. Gospel for Asia. Our church leases a building at another great missions or organization with cliff Bible translators and a way on the other side of Dallas. So what a privilege to be here. I want to thank Greg for asking me again, and I appreciate Greg very, very much as a great ministry. And, uh, I do have something to tell you though, Greg. If you're not born Texan, you need to be born again. So, uh, that's kind of a joke. Uh, but we're glad you're here and, uh, it's just beautiful. Welcome to the new Jerusalem, Dallas, Texas. And, uh, we're just excited. Last time in Bardstall, uh, Greg had told me what time, I think it was nine in the morning and I was, I think it was a Wednesday or Thursday morning and I was going to get up early Thursday morning and drive up to Oklahoma, which is two or three hours. And I decided I'd look it up on the map. It was as far North and as in Oklahoma as you can go. And it was like a five and a half or six hour drive. So I took off late Thursday night and got, uh, up there two or three in the morning. And Greg said they had saved me a room in the gym, uh, to sleep. But at that time I didn't want to wake anybody up 3 a.m. So I went to the gym and opened every door, woke everybody up. There were like dozens of people in different rooms sleeping. I would open the door, wake everybody up, went through the whole building, started at the top down to the bottom by the door. I found a room with some clothes in it that had a bed in it. And I slept there that night. And I don't know if that was mine or not, but, uh, I slept good for about two hours. So it's exciting to be here. And if you would, let's stand and pray. I appreciate all of you that have come maybe from other countries or other states or other parts of Texas. And I just pray that through this conference and, uh, the message of revival that God will speak to your heart, send you a personal revival. The most important person to be revived is you. You get revived and you'll revive other people. I taught revivalism five summers at Christ for the nations. I've been a pastor. I was an evangelism director there. And I found, I think the other brother said this towards the end of his message earlier. Jesus is the only message that brings revival. The cross God rules and reigns from a cross. He still rules and reigns from an old rugged cross. The lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. And it's that message. I believe with all my heart, the last move of God is a Christ Jesus movement, getting the church back to Jesus, getting our eyes on Jesus, getting focused on Jesus. Jesus is why we're here. It's not about us. It's about him. And he is the one that produces life and joy and peace. And today I want to talk about the lamb of God. John the Baptist said, behold, the lamb of God. I want to talk about that precious lamb. We're not following someone who wanted to be waited on hand and foot. We're following the lamb who laid down his life on Calvary's cross willingly. And I just pray you pray for me, the Lord to help me just get a little glimpse of that. Let's pray. Father, I just thank you, Lord, for all the people here. Lord, I just pray you would set aside our agendas, our emails, our texting, our Internet thoughts, anything, distraction, books, tapes, CDs, problems, money problems, whatever it is. We set it all aside right now and Lord, open up our eyes that we may behold wonders things out of your law. Father, I humbled myself before you. Without you, we're totally helpless. We cannot Jesus. You said without you, we can do nothing. And that's so true. I pray you would just guide us through the word today. Give everyone ears to hear, anoint my lips. Lord, I pray the word would find good and honest hearts, good ground and take root downward and bear fruit upward and change our lives in Jesus name. Before you sit down, turn to someone, shake their hand and tell them, I've never seen anybody look like you in my whole life. Then you can sit down. Praise the Lord. I moved down here because it's cooler and it's closer. And also I'm trying to cross that great gulf between the podium and the pew that no man can cross. I'm trying to do that right now. When I evangelize and traveled, I was a full time evangelist for many years. I used to tell them I came to inspect the front row because for some reason the saints or anyone never sat on the front row and they must be really dirty or something wrong with them. And I would go through every church and expect the front row inspect the front row. We have the same problem here. Something is wrong with the front row. We need to ask the bus drivers how they get everybody sit up front. I'm just kidding. Maybe. OK. I want you to turn in the word of God to John chapter one. John chapter one. The reason I use a handheld and I move around a little bit. I learned early preaching that preaching is the talk of the art. Preaching is the art of talking and other people sleep. So I'm going to try to wake up four or five here today. And if you're not awake I'll come out there right where you are and talk right to you. So you'll have to wake up. One time I had a guy sleeping on the front row and I threw the hymnal hit him hit the pew right next to his head. He woke up. He thought the rapture had taken place. So you never know what's going to happen. John 1 verse 29 the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Turn to verse 36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked and he said Behold the Lamb of God. There's a lot of themes messages doctrines words that people argue about talk about fuss about get mad about fight over. And the only thing that's really important is the Lamb of God. One preacher said preaching that leaves out the cross is the laughingstock of hell. That's a great quote. And when you talk about the modern gospel and the modern message of churches many churches not all churches thank God it's about us getting favor with God getting a good parking spot at the mall how to get a lot of money how to be successful how to be happy. But there's only one person see this is not a religion this is not an organization this is not a denomination it's about a person and we have a relationship with a person not a religion and the Bible says the preaching of the cross is the power of God and the salvation. There's a lot of movements today where all they preach is the law. We preach at Union Gospel Mission here in Dallas we go to the street corners on Saturdays I live outreaches the deep elem and Cedar Springs all over Dallas for many years went to Mardi Gras five times took hundreds of students to witness and there's a movement now where they go out on the street corners and blast people with the law and high five each other say hey we gave the devil a black eye. You sinners repent and there's no fruit there's no salvations there's even a movement to not even pray with them to get saved which is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Excuse me the Greeks had a word for that baloney Jesus pressed everyone for a decision. He had 34 personal encounters and Zacchaeus got saved either in the tree or in the air before he hit the ground because when he hit the ground Jesus said salvation has come to your house today he didn't put it off. Don't tell people to go home and I'm sorry if I'm getting on your favorite thing. I just don't know it's ignorance forgive me but it's true don't tell people to go home and meditate on it and think about it pray with them right there lead them to the cross the devil will talk them out of it as soon as they walk off and it's the cross and I believe in using the law don't get me wrong if they're hard hearted and they say they're OK and they're obviously drunkards or fallen down drunk or half naked or whatever lay the law on them they say they're OK they're not convicted one preacher said law to the proud grace to the humble but the gospel is the message the law brings the conviction of sin it softens hard hearts but then you just leave them all messed up the preaching of the cross is the power of God and the salvation does your Bible say that mine does I've got the one Paul used the New King James Bible that's a joke and here we are in the modern day it's if there's any price to pay any sacrifice no one wants to be a Christian if we tell them they have preached in certain cultures where they would tell me don't ask him to come to a prayer meeting they'll all get mad what have we come to when we're following a man who died in agony on an old rugged cross gave everything he had for us and we barely make it to church on Sunday morning tithing is a sacrifice because we don't know who Jesus really is if you knew who Jesus was right now daily we'd be at his feet like Mary pouring out our love on him and we've gotten away from the cross and the cross is what changes people's lives John the Baptist if he worked a miracle the Bible doesn't record it and I love miracles I believe in miracles God healed both of my sons on a deathbed in the hospital when God said the doctor came and said they weren't going to live and God said they were and they did God still heals the sick I know some people don't like that but till you get sick you don't believe that you get sick you really believe it but John the Baptist if he worked a miracle doesn't say he did but Jesus said there's never been a prophet born among women greater than John the Baptist he wasn't like Elijah and Elisha that worked all these miracles and Moses whose face glowed in the dark after seeing God's glory God's back but John the Baptist came wearing a leather girdle eating bugs I know there's some theologians trying to prove that's a leaf of a tree it's a bug people still eat them you get hungry enough you would do and he was eating wild honey and he just came out of the wilderness and he turned Israel upside down and called the people to repentance he was preparing the way for Jesus Christ he was not the way he said he was and he wasn't worthy to bend down and unlatch Jesus' sandals but he was preparing the way for the Son of God and his message was behold he got everybody ready Jesus comes to be baptized he turns around many of us today would go I don't want to pass this on to Jesus I'm doing good look at everybody coming to be baptized God's really blessed my ministry look even the Pharisees are coming they probably pay some good tithes John the Baptist looked at him and he had never read how to win friends and influence people John the Baptist looked at him and said you generation of snakes we would go here's the seat on the front row for the Pharisee who warned you to flee from the wrath to come you know what that means in the Greek your mama was a snake your daddy was a snake your grandpa was a snake your kids are snakes your wife's a snake and you're a snake progeny of serpents because it was the truth and when the time was ready and he'd prepared the way preacher repentance and baptizing unto repentance one day his cousin walked up and when the Holy Spirit came down on a remain John the Baptist proclaimed to the whole world behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world not just for the Methodist or the assemblies of God for the whole world that's the Word of God hello it's probably the president I'm just kidding I have no idea what that meant and then the next day he turned around again he said behold the Lamb of God listen to me close we get to do the same thing we have the same honor the same privilege the same ministry that John the Baptist had we get to turn to the whole world and say look it's the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world that's what witnessing is about that's what preaching is about that's what church is about church is it so that we can be possessed and have some meetings and fuss and fight church is about behold the Lamb of God that's a preacher's job that's a Christian's job to show the whole world there he is right there Jesus the Son of the Living God what a privilege John the Baptist had and his message later was I must decrease and he must increase he died about thirty two years old as it was beheaded had a six month ministry he turned the nation upside down he was on fire for God but he got to say there he is the Lamb of God and John the Baptist said I've heard the bridegroom's voice this my joy is now complete and as great as that was his greater ministry we're going to skip ahead of Jesus wonderful life I've heard people say don't study the Gospels man I hope you don't listen to that devil we got four wonderful keys of the revelation of Jesus Christ Matthew Mark and Luke and John and when you go to the ox the eagle the man and the four faces the lion that's the four faces of Jesus Christ the suffering servant of Jehovah the glorious king all those are pictures of Jesus you should get the life of Christ in stereo which is all four Gospels put together and live in that book because you will be learning the Lord Jesus Christ when the Holy Spirit makes that real to you quickens it to you and reveals it to you just reading the Bible will make you could be a devil and do that but the Holy Spirit makes it alive and that book leaps up out of the pages and comes in your heart and you get the revealed quick and revelation of Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit that's what the Word of God is and when all the wonderful works that Jesus did all the revelations John said I suppose that the world couldn't contain the books everything was written down that Jesus did in every realm but let's go to his last night he was in the upper room of his disciples and he said you will all forsake me and flee Peter bless his heart he said not me Lord I will never forsake you and a few hours later he cursed and swore that he didn't know Jesus Jesus began to be troubled in the spirit began to be very heavy and the Bible says as his custom was Jesus had a habit it was going to pray people if you don't saints if you don't think you need to pray you need to look at Jesus he was a man up for the book of Luke is going from one prayer meeting to the next prayer meeting and he told his disciples come apart with me and pray they went to garden of Gethsemane and when he was in Gethsemane when he was entering Gethsemane he turned to his disciples and he said my soul is exceedingly sorrowful even unto death Jesus realized I know this is going to go against the doctrine but listen to me and I think you'll agree with me Jesus was not trying to get out of the going to the cross and Gethsemane he didn't have second thoughts he wasn't trying to go another way when he said father not my will but dying be done it's because he knew he was dying and as far as he knew he knew the will of his father was that he die on a no rugged cross for the sins of the universe sins of mankind he knew that was the will of God and yet he realized he was not going to make it the Bible says he turned his disciples and said my soul is exceedingly sorrowful even unto death he realized that he was dying right there as the weight of sin you know one little new demon that just got started it is demonizing could he knocked most of us out one little demon just nobody loves you we just quit can you imagine the son of God as he entered Gethsemane every demon and devil and hell Satan himself the dragon the serpent they all began to come against the mind of the son of God and the weight of sin began to bear down on him when he died on the cross they thrust the spear in blood and water came out medical doctor says that's a condition where the sack around your heart ruptures Dallas home wrote a song he died of a broken heart and I want you to know that he was in such agony that his heart began to be overloaded his body was overloaded overloaded he told his disciples I'm dying please pray with me he realized he was not going to make it to Calvary's cross and he went down he called Peter James and John apart and he fell on his face and he began to pray being in an agony the Bible says and he cried out oh my father if it be possible let this cup pass for me not the cup tomorrow not the cross the cup of death that he was drinking right then let this cup pass from me nevertheless not my will but thine be done and he went back and he was the Bible says and Mark as he prayed he began to hemorrhage through his sweat glands blood began to come through his sweat glands and he began to bleed through the skin that's a condition that doctors say you cannot live through being in such distress and agony Mark says as he knelt there great clots of blood fell to the ground Jesus was dying and folks what a beautiful picture he wasn't having second thoughts he wasn't trying to get out of it he was battling with everything the Bible says in Hebrews 5 7 and 8 who in the days of his flesh offered up prayers with strong crying and but him and the imminent tears and was heard by who in him he whom he feared and was delivered from death he didn't get delivered from death on the cross he got delivered from death in Gethsemane now he learned obedience to the things that he suffered this is a much more accurate biblical beautiful picture that Jesus was not having second thoughts not pulling back he was fighting with everything he had he knelt there and he was battling with every fiber his being to get to the cross for you and I because if it wasn't for the old cross right now we'd all be in the lake of fire we'd all be in hell there would be no hope for us you would be given an account for your sins your sins would accuse you you would be in hell right now but Jesus fought and battled as he knelt there he asked he went again to his disciples that please help me please pray and he went back being even greater agony and angels came and strengthened him what a beautiful picture man usually gets things wrong how wonderful he battled him and but he said Lord our father I think I know your will but if you've changed your mind I surrender to that not my will but thine be done and if we think something's the will of God and doesn't happen we we pout for six months but he said nevertheless not my will but thine be done then they came and arrested him and they took him and took him before Pilate and then they took him out and scourged him that seems simple I like the word of promise the new King James Version the word of promise because when they scourge Jesus you can hear it since the modern church wouldn't preach the cross anymore God had to get an actor in Hollywood a Catholic to make a movie that for the first time in history I studied the cross for many decades doctor looks at Calvary medical books all this doctor nailed a corpse to a cross to get to show exactly what it was like but we've never really preached it like it really was I preached on the cross one time in Warner Robins Georgia the lady came up to me after churches said that was gross you shouldn't be preaching that that was too gross and too bloody but most people have said thank you we haven't heard about the cross in many years and the church got away from the cross and started preaching money and success in numbers and fancy buildings they're so busy borrowing money to build another building they're not willing to lost anymore and in that movie there were so many details that were accurate I was amazed I know he's probably not a Christian but I was amazed I'd studied for decades and all the details how did he get that how did he know that there's a guy in Houston Texas who went to the police station after watching that movie and confessed to a murder they had gotten away with folks that's how you know someone has presented the crawls we went to far north Dallas to a huge church before it was even released and the actor who played Jesus was there and they just showed a raw cut of it and when it got done not one person said a word not one person moved and all of a sudden in the back some young man yelled out we did that to you Jesus and hundreds flooded the altar weeping and crying if you want see you want to see revival in your church you want to see the Holy Spirit moving in your church preach Jesus on the cross again and preach him bloody and everybody will John Wesley said if you'll preach the real Jesus sinners will climb over the pews and the hypocrites to get to him and in the movie I mean what what an awesome display of the agony of Jesus Christ as those professional Roman soldiers beat him cat in nine tails and history said when the Romans did that you can see their lungs through their back look like raw hamburger meat and they scourged him Jesus physical suffering was awful and then they took him out and crucified him they nailed his hands and his feet to a cross and in the movie they dig a hole and they take that cross and drop it and when it hits the bottom the body would lunge against the nails and tear and rip put on a crown of thorns he was covered with blood from head to toe and please listen to me we've gotten away from the power of the blood of Jesus Christ because modern man's thinking says that's gross that's bloody it's a bloody religion the Bible says without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin Jesus blood is precious yes to the carnal mind it's gross it's stupid they don't understand it they don't understand that we all deserve death and hell our blood should be shed that's the life of the flesh is in the blood without the shedding of blood there's no remission of sin but the Bible says by his stripes we are healed by his stripes we were healed it's the blood of Jesus Christ that conquered every phase of this universe spiritually physically I want you to know the blood of Jesus Christ is the most powerful force in this universe that little red spot outside of Jerusalem one time I was talking talking to a man and he looked at me there's a guy I don't remember where his church is that I'm going to mention him but he has a huge following and he's his mentor and him teach that the blood of Jesus isn't literal not to be believed in literal it's a symbol the Bible says when we get to heaven we're going to get to see we're going to go to the blood of sprinkling that's on the mercy seat in heaven we're going to get to see it it's still there right now but wasn't there we'd be in trouble Jesus went in there and sprinkled in himself and the Holy of Holies in heaven and the blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanses us from all sin it's time we started preaching the blood again because the blood the power of the blood when I was a kid we used to sing there's power power wonder working power in the blood of the lamb and I want you to know that's still true sure the devil doesn't want that that's the one thing he fears is the blood of Jesus Christ because the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin it protected the children of Israel in Egypt the destroyer and destruction had to go away you know what the Greek word for Passover or peace I means it's an old word that means to interpose one's own person God said when I see the blood when I grew up singing that Oh him when I see the blood I thought it meant when God saw the blood he would skip over that home and wouldn't kill them God wasn't killing them the angel of death came through the angel of destruction came through death came through the land and he told him to get that little blood put it up on the lintel when God was saying when I see the blood of that little lamb on your home I Almighty Yahweh God will stand in front of your little home I'll turn them away and say you can't come in because the blood of the lamb is on this home how much more do you think the power of the literal real blood of Jesus is on the mercy seat in heaven folks there was enough power in one drop to cleanse the whole universe of all sin but the one thief saw something that changed his life saved his soul he looked at Jesus and he saw who he really was the Lamb of God and he looked at him he said Lord Kyrios master remember me when you come into your kingdom Jesus looked at him and said I God the Son of God the seal of truth there's a great series the study ate the amens and amens of Christ this is one of them truly truly I say unto you today you'll be with me in paradise that kind of knocks out the teaching got to be baptized and wanted to be saved I believe in water baptism on my heart that they've got saved on the cross and died on the cross and Jesus I want you to know saints as sure as the sun came up this morning a few hours later that old thief was with Jesus in paradise God can Jesus can save the worst sinners in the world that's how powerful the cross is even before he was done he saved someone and while he was in agony on the cross many of the Old Testament saints got up out of their graves and started the cross is so powerful we don't have any idea he dealt with mankind first his family than a single individual but now comes the real suffering as awful as the physical suffering of Jesus was it was the least of his suffering he began to suffer in his soul the Bible says in Isaiah 53 it pleased the Lord to bruise him and he saw the travail of his soul and was satisfied and as he was hanging on the cross the fire of hell began to burn against him every demon and devil and hell began to attack Jesus said there's a fire that cannot be quenched and there's a worm that won't die don't you fear anyone who can just kill your body you fear the one that's able to destroy both body and soul and hell and all of hell rose up at Calvary's cross and that fire that cannot be quenched began to burn against the Son of God that worm that cannot die that can't be killed began to attack the Son of God and for three hours from twelve noon to three in the afternoon the most awful unmitigated suffering in the history of the world began to take place the most awful horrible agony that a human being has ever gone through and will ever go through took place in the soul and the bosom of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross and from twelve noon to three in the afternoon he doesn't say another word first it was mankind and his family than an individual but now it's just him and God him and his father and you're going to get in that place someday there are times when you're going to go through something it's just you and God and now it's just him and his father everyone else is out of the picture and he begins to suffer not only that fire the Bible doesn't say he paid the penalty for sin it doesn't say that he paid the price for sin the Bible says he became sin none of us will our own sins not kill us all the sins of mankind every sin that had ever been committed every murder every rape every lie every evil thing a fallen evil mankind had ever done was doing at that moment of whatever do was gathered up some way by God himself and God put that in the bosom in the soul of his son and he became sin our sins your sins my sin he became sins he became sin and you know what else it changed the way he physically looked when that happened Isaiah 52 says his face was more marred than any man in the Hebrew that means he didn't look like a human being anymore as he became sin his suffering was so great that he turned into some dark and twisted creature Isaiah clearly says he didn't look like a human being anymore we had to turn away our faces as he became a curse for us as he became sin for us he did not look like a man hanging there he was some thing some mute creature hanging there in agony and then the wrath of God the Bible said he endured the wrath of God for us the wrath of God was poured through his soul in the book of Revelation there are seven vials the perfect just complete wrath of a holy God are stored up going to be poured out during the seven years of the tribulation period I'm sorry if that was against the doctrine but anyway during the tribulation period the wrath of God is going to be poured out that is clear in the word of God and you know something as Jesus was hanging on the cross all seven vials of a perfect holy wrath of God those vials were poured into the soul into the bosom of the son of God all that wrath the Bible says it's going to be so horrible during the tribulation period that this whole planet is going to rock and reel like a drunken man as the wrath of God is poured out on the whole earth the whole earth is going to move and shake and rock and reel and all that wrath was poured into the bosom of the son of God I'll tell you something if there's nothing else you should be excited about you'll never have to experience one drop of God's wrath because Jesus absorbed it for you Jesus took it for you he took in all the wrath of God the Bible says we've been delivered from the wrath to come because God's son took your place and endured it for you then he's getting ready to say something earlier he had refused to drink the dead in the pain but the Bible says in Psalms his tongue was cleaving to the roof of his mouth and on the cross you had to push yourself up on your feet to breathe because it was such a pressure on your chest but now he wants to say something he said thirst and they gave him a drink and he pushes himself up to speak and the Bible said and believe me when I took Bible college I failed the dignified module because Jesus didn't know anything about trying to look dignified and pontificating he cried with a loud voice he cried with a loud voice you know what he said it was a Roman cry of victory to last time it's over it's finished it's settled it's done and you know what the Greek means the last period had been put the last T had been crossed the last I had been dotted knowing that all things had been accomplished he's now ready to say something he's done his great atoning work is done his awful suffering is done I can't imagine how that felt I'm so glad he didn't stop halfway I'm so glad he went to that point when he said all things have been accomplished and he cried with a loud voice to last time it's over it's settled it's done and you know what he was saying I want hell to know I want mankind to know I want Satan to know I want the fallen angels to know I want the angels of God to know but most of all father I want you to know it's over it's settled it's finished it's done and saints two thousand plus years later it's still over it's still settled it's still done he's not coming back and getting on the cross again he was completely victorious he totally finished the work somebody needs to say man yes amen thank you brother he helped me out it won't kill me if you help me what a work I mean if the church really knew this we'd never stop witnessing it would bring revival like you never saw in your life I've seen I've seen a lot and then he bowed his head first he said father into your hands I deposit my spirit the Romans didn't kill Jesus the Jews didn't kill Jesus he laid his life down willingly he bowed his head and died and they put him in a grave and I hate to tell you this it wasn't on Friday it was on a Wednesday because he was in the grave three days and three nights not a day and a half and his cold lifeless body was laid in the grave but it never decayed it never rotted three days later you know this is one of my pet peeves I'm not a choir director or the son of a choir director this is my pet peeve we save the best songs that God has ever inspired anybody to write Christmas and Easter song to once a year we got to sing Mary did you know every Sunday we ought to sing low in a manger we ought to sing silent night every Sunday and especially Easter songs we just do those once a year we are really stupid let's just keep that for when all the sinners are here how about every Sunday morning the Bible says with great power the Apostles gave witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ every Sunday morning it's about time we got up on Sunday morning you know the whole song starts off in the chorus real slow see I took piano lessons from the lady that taught Marilyn Monroe that's why Marilyn Monroe and I were so good on the piano nothing wrong with her teaching and she played this powerfully she could really play low in the grave he lay Jesus my Savior this is the verse waiting the coming day Jesus my Lord and the course goes like this up from the grave he arose with a mighty trial for his foes he arose a victor from the dark domain and he lives forever with his saints to reign he arose he arose Hallelujah Christ arose that's what the church ought to shout every Sunday morning instead of being PWA members Pew Warmers Association member now I'm about done but listen close it doesn't stop there thank God and Revelation chapter one the disciple that leaned on his bosom said I heard a voice behind me like a trumpet I turned around to see the voice that spoke with me and I saw one whose hair was white as snow his face shown like the sun and its strength his feet were like brass burned in a furnace folks on Calvary's cross his feet were brass burned in a furnace they've been tried and they've been tested and he had on a white robe like lightning and had golden band around the chest and I fell at his feet like a dead man and he said fear not get up I'm the first and the last and listen to what he says this is how it reads in the Greek I got to be dead he said I was dead and the Greek was I got to be dead that's not like me I don't usually go around dying but this one time I died but I'm never gonna do it again I was dead but now I am alive forever more and I want you to know it's there's something in Jesus that the church is desperately need today it's life I came that you might have life and that you might have it more abundantly yes Sunday morning life Monday morning life Tuesday morning life life produces joy life is creative life can't be contained and when the church gets that dose of life they'll be clapping their hands they'll be lifting their hands I don't care what your abomination I mean denomination is I don't care where you went the cemetery I mean seminary I don't care what it is you'll join with the heavenly chorus right up there singing worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive honor and glory and power it's time we got back to Jesus and appreciated the cross again the Bible says the Philippians believe me when I talked about his suffering and his travail I just scratch the surface I skipped over about 20 things in my notes we'll never see the end of it one old saint said when I get to heaven Jesus is never gonna hear the end of it in Philippians it says he humbled himself let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus I hope God didn't get us for our arrogance and pride today especially in the ministry I preached at a minister's conference in Kansas City for a whole denomination messages about power and miracles and glory and money I was the keynote speaker and preached on the cross they were like I was speaking a language from another planet they were dressed I mean gold and gold nugget Rolex watches and I mean nothing wrong with that but my goodness don't wear it to church we're following a man that didn't have a place to lay his head well I guess there is something wrong with that if you got one poor person in your church sell the watch and help them let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus he humbled himself to the point of death folks no one has ever humbled themselves like Jesus he become became a hundred and eighty five thousand times smaller than the seed of a woman to come into this world he left ivory palaces he left the portals of glory he left the bosom of the father he laid aside all the attributes of glory and power but his moral glory and his holiness could not be hidden that's why he was so hated and in Philippians Paul said even to the point of death the death of a cross the worst most humiliating as I just preached Sunday morning a couple weeks ago to my church when Jesus on the cross he didn't have a loincloth on that was part of the humiliation was to hang you there naked expose you to ridicule but you know what suit he was wearing Mary Spikener a few days before she had poured it on his hair and on his head and it really clings to you I'm told and he wasn't completely exposed and maybe because he had Mary's love covering his body from head to toe what a blessing that must have been alone in an agony he could smell that Spikener and that perfume that's our love and worship and Paul said therefore or because of this because of this therefore because of the cross and his humility in the way humble himself God is highly exalted him and given him a name that's above every name that the name of Jesus I want you to know I can see this in my mind at the name of Jesus Genghis Khan Napoleon Bonaparte Chelsea Clinton Hillary Clinton Obama every leader in the world Lenin they're going to get even Satan himself they're going to get on their knees and confess at the top of their voice Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father because of what he did on the cross every knee is going to bow and every tongue is going to confess under the earth on the earth above the earth every created being is going to bow its knee and cry out Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father they won't like it they don't want to do it but God Almighty is going to make them get out and confess the truth whether they believed it in this life or not Jesus is Lord in 1959 Elizabeth Tudor was coronated and sworn in as the Queen of England for the first time in history it was on television it's a great pomp and circumstance when it was over they were in the throne room she had the crown on she was on the throne with her robe and scepter the first night of the realm the British realm rode out in front of her throne on the Arabian stallion white Arabian stallion and turn in full battle armor and turned around and faced the crowd with the visor down it takes off a gauntlet and throws it on the ground anyone who would deny the right of Elizabeth to Tudor to sit on the throne of England and rule and reign let him come forth right now and do me battle not one peep no one said a word when Jesus got back to heaven I can see God Almighty his father throwing the gauntlet down in front of the universe anyone he would deny the right of my son to rule and reign this universe forever and ever and ever let him come forth right now and do me battle not one word from hell not one word from earth because he won it completely and totally on the cross and one last scripture is my favorite one Revelation chapter five an angel came out and showed John a beautiful scroll with seven seals it was really beautiful an angel said would you like I'm paraphrasing a little bit would you like to see it and John said yes I want to see it was beautiful he really wanted to see it the angel said too bad you're not worthy and the Bible said he sat down and cried his eyes out he wept much he really wanted to see what was in that scroll it was so beautiful and powerful and the angel said weep not because the lion out of the tribe of Judah he hath prevailed to open the book and loose the seals thereof and John turned around to see the lion out of the tribe of Judah but instead of seeing that he saw next to the father's throne a tiny baby lamb a lamb can 21 times in the book of Revelation not just a lamb a newborn lamb a lamb can standing oven it's on its feet right next to the father's throne it had already been butchered the Greek is his throat was cut as for slaughter and the blood was still pumping out of that lamb's throat and John said while I was watching that lamb got up he walked over and he took the scroll out of the angels hand and he loosed the seals thereof and he said I don't know exactly everything that happened next but the four and twenty elders the four living creatures all the host redeemed the white robe host they all fell on their faces and began to scream at the top of their voice worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive honor and glory and power and dominion and riches and might and strength and health for by thy blood thou hast redeemed us from every tribe every tongue every nation and all heaven went crazy as they praise the lamb of God I want you stand your feet do the same thing right now practice up for heaven come on jump to your feet and tell Jesus how thankful you are for what he did on the cross yes Lord thank you for the agony of Calvary thank you for the cross the complete victory total victory Lord someday we're going to be singing the national anthem of heaven all hail the power of Jesus name let angels prostrate fall bring forth the glorious diadem and crown him Lord of all Lord we crown you Lord of all right now with our mouths with the fruit of our lips with our hearts with our bodies souls and spirit Lord you are the message it's you the person of the Lord Jesus Christ give us that revelation that Peter had you're the Christ the son of the living God let flesh and blood cannot show us that only you can God only the Holy Spirit can show us who Jesus really is he's the son of the living God slain before the foundation of the world hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise the name of Jesus praise the name of Jesus praise him come on thank you for your precious blood I praise your blood give us life today you came that we might have life not man's life resurrection life life that's already been through death hell in the grave and is now victorious you took away the keys of death hell in the grave you're victorious you're alive forevermore you're never going to die again give us that resurrection life make us alive make our churches alive make our ministers alive let us quit pontificating and trying to impress people with our intellects let us start preaching the Lamb of God let us turn to everyone and say behold there's Jesus the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah yes Jesus thank you for these precious souls here today Lord give them a new vision of the Lamb a new vision of the Lamb of God hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah praise the Lord I'm going to obey God please be still for a moment the Lord is just speaking to my heart that some of you here kind of lost track of what it was all about and you just the Holy Spirit speak in your heart right now this is what it's about who it's about Jesus loves you he went all through that he went through hell he put out that fire that can't be killed he killed that worm that won't die for you that's how much he loves you and he's going to take care of you some of you are worried about financial problems a severe financial problem the Lord's going to bring you out keep calling on it he's going to take care of you we go through trials and tests but we're going to come out victorious I told the 400 men at a homeless shelter last night as long as Jesus is on the throne there's hope there's hope God's on the throne right now Jesus is the Lord of this universe he loves you and he cares about you also I just am impressed that someone here is praying about going to Bible school you don't know if God's called you he has called you go and go to one that's preaching Jesus don't go to a seminary that's like a cemetery go to one that's on fire hallelujah the Lord's called you someone here's been really struggling that he has called you and he's speaking to your heart right now go get your tools ready got to find work for you to do can you say amen again behold the lamb and his travail behold the lamb and his triumph can you thank him one more time ======================================================================== Video:
