...had one true revival, no matter what anyone says, and that was the
revival under Andrew Murray. His father prayed for 20-something years
through the night once a week for God to come to South Africa, but he
didn't see it until a book was put into his hand, written by Charles
Finney, who gave his lectures on revival, his stepping stones, and his
account of the revivals from Edwards down right through to his ministry
and the prayer revival. He gave it at the end of his life.

And then God spread that book across the world, which is responsible for
most of the world's major revivals, was that book being read by one
individual or by others.
