I know preachers say this all the time, but it really is. When Brother Greg was just asking me to come do the conference, I was looking at my schedule and I couldn't see would I have time for this, but when I saw that you were having this conference on the Isaiah 6 passage and the Revelation 5, I knew that I had to come because I think that this passage is key in so many ways. John reveals it to us as the center of the universe, but there's so much in this and when I go to pray, when I think of my theology, when I think of my behavior, when I think of myself as a father, as a minister, I try to get my example by the grace of God from this scene in Revelation chapter 5. It's incredible and this is my message today, but Lord willing. So the whole idea that he has this scroll, the scroll is about to bring the judgment and the plans for the earth and all these different things and the strong angel is telling John to stop crying and says, you know, the lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed and he looks and he sees this lamb and so there's so many things in that. It's not this, it's not, it is powerful in that it's the lamb. It is still the lion of the tribe of Judah. I don't think he was just tricking him. This lamb and the way of the lamb is powerful and so there's so many times we try in our own strength to live a godly life, we try in our own strength to enter in the world's ideas of politics, the world's ideas of power, but I think what we're seeing in Revelation chapter 5 is this is the key, the slain lamb of God. His blood covers us, his blood forgives us and allows us to be redeemed from every nation and every tribe. It gives us an example and he's standing as the slain lamb of God and so I see the lessons in Revelation chapter 5 is key to everything. Our life, our prayer, our salvation, our plans for humanity, our missions, our ministry. We can learn so much from Revelation chapter 5. ======================================================================== Video: https://sermonindex2.b-cdn.net/SQuyO4dCBGE.mp4 Source: https://sermonindex.net/speakers/dean-taylor/what-can-we-learn-from-revelation-chapter-5/ ========================================================================
