Know this is off the topic of evolution, but, thanks for bringing up the Preterist interpretation of Daniel and the New Testament. I had not heard of this before and have done some research. Know you don't agree, yet it makes a lot of sense out of passages such as Matt 16: 27,8, and many others that seemed to me to be grave errors, either by Jesus or those who recorded His words.

Moreover, it makes optimism for our future on earth possible, knowing that the whole place isn't going to go to hell in a hand bag no matter what anyone does. Fits VERY well with the Quaker belief that there is "THAT of GOD in everyone" and that we should walk our lives speaking to and listening to that of God in each of us.
