Hey guys I'm looking for some great suggestions for an outreach event I am planning. I am the evangelism ministry leader for the youth and young adults at my church and I want to reach a very sinful area of Miami, I have written my vision down and I would like to see some of your suggestions on what I can do...

Once what we did is we got some musicians from our church and we rented out one of the local parks. We loaded the speakers and music equipment on a flatbed trailer that one of the men from the congregation owned and we just started singing praises to God. In between worship we gave testimonies and of course preached the Gospel. We did not have number success as far as recorded salvations, but we did have quite a few people turn out.

Just remember, when doing these types of event pastors sometimes will put emphasis on "how many were saved" to see if it was a successful event. Make sure you are doing it not for numbers but just getting the Word out and reaching out and getting sinners to repent and turn towards Christ.
