 Cancer in the Church

I post this with a thankful heart for all God has already done for our body, and the blessed way He's brought us through our trials and used the hardships to grow us.

I don't post this not having prayed myself, or for the first time. And it's been a blessing to labor in prayer with this body of believers I'm a part of at home. But I also appreciate the whole body of Christ, which includes all the fellowships represented here. If it's on your heart to do so, please keep our church in your prayers as we have just received news that our pastor's wife's cancer has returned at a fatal stage. This has already been a 2 year trial and oh how God has done a work through our pastor and his wife! They have the peace of God, and it's so encouraging to see. But if you could pray for our fellowship, that they will take this news well. And we also have a lady in our fellowship who's dying of many tumors. This lady and her family have been a part of our fellowship for a long time, and her battle has affected many areas of ministry. So both of these women are close and dear to our hearts. Thank you for your prayers. God will be glorified through all of this!

 Re: Cancer in the Church

Hi Yodi...

I am praying about both situations. I will also spread word so that others will join us in prayer.

:-)

May God heal her in the name of Jesus Christ and allow it to be a testimony for His glory. May God also strengthen the pastor for the work of the ministry in this trying time.
