There are a lot of potential problems that we don't usually hear about. One time I was reading about a large aquifier in the mid-west U.S. that covers a bunch of states. It is being drained for irrigation. It supposedly takes years for it to replenish itself and as the years go by the wells have to be dug deeper and deeper. Places that were originally artesian wells {wells that when originally hit shot water in the air} now have to be pumped. I also read that the ground water in many places is polluted with pesticides and herbicides. Many of the miracle drugs used to stop bacteria no longer work because of the over use of these drugs. Some horrible diseases from the past like TB may become widespread again. Our grain crops are for the most part hybridized. By select breeding to get a desired yield, only a few of many types of corn are used. If there ever is a virus that attacks those few types of corn, the world could lose most of its corn crop in a few years. When there is no corn, there is no beef, etc.................................................There is a perfect peace for those whose mind is stayed on the Lord. Hab 3:16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops. Hab 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Hab 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.Hab 3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. In Christ,GaryE
