Last Thanks-Giving it occured to me (after the fact) as I was preparing the store I work at (Target) to open, that perhaps a good group of people to target for mass evangelism would be those early morning shoppers who line up in the hundreds (and sometimes even more) at various local retail shops & malls. Think of it, sometimes hundreds of people are standing around doing nothing, often getting there 30-60 minutes early, in order to take advantage of the sales that many stores have on the day after turkey day.I would encourage all of you and your local churches to consider targeting such groups. Many of you might even be those early bird shoppers, so, consider that a good chance to witness to many people at one time. Being that you are going to probably be on private property most of the time, you might not consider doing open-air evangelism. However, you could consider it a great place to go hand out tracts, start one on one conversations and the like. You won't have to worry about people complaining... for they won't have anybody to actually complain to save eachother as they huddle up in the cold outside, as the store managers are inside making preparations. You would not be violating any law either, as all these people are already just standing around doing nothing and mingling as it is. You can mingle with them, and do so by presenting them the gospel!
