[img]https://www.sermonindex.net/images/forum/2004/may/featured_news.gif[/img]ROMAN Catholic authorities in Italy ruled yesterday that tears of blood on a statue of Saint Padre Pio were female, so could not be miraculous.Padre Pio was a miracle-working hermit who died in 1968 and was canonised three years ago. Last May his statue at Marsicovetere, in Basilicata, was reported to have wept tears of blood. However the local Curia said yesterday that supernatural intervention could be excluded because tests had shown the blood belonged to a woman.
