Re: Has anyone heard about this prophecy?

It doesn't feel right. I think that's all I can say.

 Re:

Hmm, interesting. Do you know for sure that on July 22nd that, that prophesy was posted?

The word says if someone prophesies in His name and it doesn't come to pass, that we SHOULD NOT fear that 'Prophet'. (In Deut.)

Judgement (in a prophesy) can be a scary thing, but I hope the fruit of everything is Love and all the other fruits of the Spirit.

 Re:

I really shun from alot of these words that are prophetic and are posted on the internet. I am sure God has in small fellowships some "words" of prophecy for that local body but there are so MANY prophets saying "thus saith the Lord" to the entire world that it is hard to discern or even know the character of the person.

We have a more sure word of prophecy: The Scriptures

 Re:

Hi Greg...!

I agree. Kim Clement has come under fire by evangelical organizations for sometimes posting supposed "prophecies" after they were fulfilled (but dated beforehand). For instance, he posted a prophecy about the 2004 election the day after the election results were final! He has also made "prophecies" stating that "no Americans would be killed during the Iraq war," and that a cure for AIDS would be found by 2002.

I am not saying that Kim Clement is not a Christian. But he doesn't meet the Biblical standard for a real prophet (as mentioned in an earlier post in this thread). Kim Clement may even be sincere -- believing that he truly speaks for God. But I would definitely look further into Kim Clement's "prophecies" before taking any of them to heart.

:-)

 Re:

Kim Clement is a false propeht. I used to follow him, and tested some of his predictions that he made would happen by certain date... that never ever did. Most specificially, I remember how he predicted that the Christmas of I believe it was 2004 would be the most noteably "best" Christmas ever, and yet it was quite normal by all accounts. There were other things too. He's simply another dime-a-dozen personal prophecy guy that's in it for the money, folks like LarsW used to warn us so much about.

 Re:

I personally wanted to let everyone know here that when I posted that link, I know nothing of Kim Clement, that link was sent to me from a christian friend from my Bible Study group.

 Re:

One thing to dangerous to say, which i hear from alot of people is 'this person is a false prophet/teacher/apostle....etc'.

But, NO WHERE (at least to my knowledge) does the SCRIPTURE say that 'if they mess up in speaking MY word that i've given to them, they are 100% false'. It said in Deut. 13 (thanks..still haven't looked it up, just trusting your right :-P ) that 'you should not fear what they say'.

False Prophets throughout the bible DID ONE THING, and thats LEAD THEM AWAY FROM GOD. Benny Hinn, Kennenth Copeland, Kim Clement, Joel Osteen (sp?) all of these, all ERROR in doctrine, just as me you and everyone else. But because they say this 'non-fulfilled' "prophetic" word that DOES NOT count them as a false teacher/apostle...etc.

They are a 'man/women who needs to be refined' just as we all are.

I've given some people words that i STRONGLY believe were for them and they just were OFF THE MARK, why? because IM STILL LEARNING how to use the gifts of God that have been given to me for the edification of the body.

One brother in the Lord, serves the Lord 24/7, has 'no place to put his head', but only on the Lord. He says this to me EVERY TIME i say 'wow this Prophetic Word was awesome'.

"I dont worry about it, I just keep my mind on the SIMPLICITY of the Gospel and Christ".

This is also quite another 'popular saying' "Take everything as a grain of salt" (or something of that nature..)

If it happens it happens, but are they edifying the brethern? Or as my youth pastor ALWAYS SAYS 'Whats the fruit from it?'.

Don't cut down a tree that is feeding thousands. We bear fruit with many of our imperfections, so don't say 'its rotten fruit from ...this guy or that guy' UNLESS THEY LEAD THE SHEEP AWAY FROM GOD!!!

*(My 2 cents, feel free to openly rebuke me if i have errored, again, I am learning also but 'i dont believe everything i hear' i TEST EVERYTHING. In my younger years it was Trinity, Hell, and that stuff and now is focused on different things that 'ive heard' but 'what does the bible REALLY say about it').*
