I wanna start looking up people. Like Charles Finney and Great Men of God that impacted the people in their lives. Google is great, but like I'm looking for certain specific sites on bios of people and some great testimonies of the 'things they done' in the past.I've only read up on 2 people so far. (Not done with either one of them, but pretty close) John G. Lake and Smith Wigglesworth. I was truly ignorant about Healing and alot of other things and even those names 'Lake and Wigglesworth'.I'll probly start looking up Booth or something but my question isn't about Booth but in general.Do you know any great sites to get people's bio's and things they did in their life.I only have one book on each man. "His Life, His Sermons, His Boldiness of Faith" John G. Lake; and Smith's 365 Devotion which is a little bit of each of his good books.Even if you know stuff on the early church, anything from the past.*I have alot of books in my library, but like i feel like i should toss (give them to a ministry that would like them)them, and just read up on men and women of God, and read their LIVES, 'Living epistles' as Paul wrote*
Hi there,I was also doing that.. looking people up. I was looking for Christian woman from the past- and I found this-there is a woman from the late 1600's in France, her name is Jeanne Guyon. This is truly a woman who knew what it meant to submit to the Lord in ALL things. WOW is all I can say about her. Her autobiography is available through the website www.thesearchforbiblicaltruth.org on the suggested reading page. This book has dramatically changed my life and has given me a real idea of what it is like to really walk with Jesus. I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone!www.thesearchforbiblicaltruth.orgI pray that everyone who reads this book will be as blessed by it as I have been. :-) Mary

Here are a few sources I pulled up with a Jeeves search. I am not endorsing any of these sites, just trying to offer you a starting point. I don't think you will get any in depth information from these sites but they should help with getting a general idea of the contributions and sacrafices made by some great men and women of God.
