I've just re-read this one thanks Evan. Indeed, this teaching of the new birth by Chambers is easily overlooked when our mindset has been formed by Protestantism.

I had my awakening when I read 'The Royal Invitation' by Francis Havergal, kindle and highly recommended. I have an original copy I picked up in a charity shop. It had a profound effect.

Saved means saved from sin.
