I'll get back to you Todd. I've got to go with someone about 85 miles or so to pick up some new vans for work and drive the back here. So I'll be a bit.

You wrote “Do you believe present Israel will always remain this way?”I’ll be honest upfront and say that I need not read any further after that question you are asking…. This gets to the meat of the matter, so I am thankful 🙏🏻My answer is, I hope not and hold a very strong belief that we, the body of Christ have a significant role in bringing Israel to Christ (ROM 11) It would also be true that what we have been doing is neither biblical nor effective to the task and that is plain to see for the whole world. Jesus says, “if the Son be lifted up…..” it’s quite apparent that the weak link in the chain is us, which is to say the onus is on us . Certainly not limited to, but especially apparent regarding Israel, the modern evangelical cultural position towards Israel is patently unbiblical. How can we know this?? By the fruit - or in this case the lack thereof . We, the current body of Christ on the earth are called to evangelize Israel, full stop. We have lost the fear of the Lord to such and extent that we have become calloused regarding the wrath of God that we know will come upon the unbelieving and ungodly and that does include Israel presently ! We say Oct 7th was a tragedy but what do we mean? Are speaking as the world or as the oracles of God ?? The tragedy isn’t that Israelis we ambushed and viciously murdered dear brother, no…. The tragedy is that the church seems to be under some sort of delusion where they must assume that God is going to give these people a do-over or something because I’ve not heard nor read the slightest concern here on SI much less the world, as to the fact that the real tragedy is that the people who were murdwred in Israel are in hell or will be, full stop. Where is the fear of the Lord!?? Have we gotten so comfortable, making our lives so convenient,… that we lie to ourselves about the condition of those we claim to care about the most 🤷🏽♂️ In my heart I know, we are in big trouble and we need to repent and seek to bring as many to Christ as possible,… like our very lives depended on it- remember the parable of the talants, we’re acting like the one who buried it when it comes to Israel so for me something’s gotta change and the sooner the better because while we’re here debating, people are going to hell forever and we don’t really seem to mind much anymore 🥺

Very poignant and well-stated Fletcher. I think a lot of the American evangelical church think that Jewish people are “kind of saved.” That they do have God’s favor. That He winks at their unbelief. And I think that is why the Church has failed in regard to the Jewish people. Which also hits on what I was getting at in regard to Jewish evangelism. If a lot of Christian’s think they are just all going to be saved in the end (and which a very large contingent of the American church thinks is imminent) there is no sense of urgency now.

Hi JFW,Which specific idea?Generally the whole bible new and old are accepted support for any idea and you have to take the scripture as a whole, urs staff
Hi all,Israel is different than any other nation but it doesnt mean that the individual people in Israel are saved anymore than any other country or nation or people. Also just because individual people arent saved in Israel like other countries it doesnt mean that Israel is the same as other countries. It clearly has a destiny different than any other nation, doesnt mean the people are presently saved or godly but it does mean that the devil wants to devour them and it amazes me that the some parts of the Church thinks that what Israel is presently going through is just normal unorganised activity that other countries go through, wake up we know who is organising this, urs staff
