It is an important message for our day. Would to God that many more preachers would be clear about what is happening in the world. We need more "preachers" and less "teachers." _________________ SI Moderator - Greg Gordon

| Re: | | I listened to the message, it was timely and prophetic, yet rightly expounding the scriptures as teachers do.
Only one little place that is a common trait to pentecostals, and that is where he mentioned that Jesus went into hell between after his death and before his resurrection.
Jesus did not go to hell, he went to the souls in hades and preached the gospel. |

| Re: | | John Kilpatrick is yet another preacher who was at the "Toronto Blessing" and spreads drunkenness manifestations. He has ties to the prosperity gospel.
Beware teachers like this.

I am sorry, but I could not disagree with any statement more than this one. One of the primary, if not THE primary problem in the church today is Biblical illiteracy. We have a lot of preachers that are passionately declaring all kinds of things and it is leading the church into the weeds right now. We have few who can rightly divide and teach the word so that people can understand and be transformed by the truth. We need less people preaching their own ideas and more people laboring in the word and in prayer to teach the truth and equip the saints.
It concerns me deeply that teaching is castigated as "intellectualism" and "unspiritual", while preaching with passion is elevated as somehow more "spiritual". It will lead nowhere good for sure.

| Re: | | Nigel: I must agree with you. Mr. Kilpatrick has a history of false prophecy, including proclaiming that God told him there would be no election fraud or anything of the sort in the 2000 presidential election in the US. Apparently God was wrong, or Mr. Kilpatrick is speaking falsely. He is part and parcel to a group of people who have a history of grossly misrepresenting scripture and who also speak vague prophecies that are meaningless and that have a proven track record of failing miserably when they do claim to speak for God. They are the sort that scripture calls clouds without water. I would avoid Kilpatrick personally. His "words from God" are simply man's imagination and are not reliable. _________________ Travis

| Re: | | Travis and Niegel,
I was going to stay out of this but now that Travis has voiced his opinion, I want to say that you are both in error. I have followed this man’s ministry for many years. He might have missed it in some areas, but he is not a false prophet and he is an excellent teacher. _________________ Mike

| Re: | | Mike,
If speaking false prophecies does not make you a false prophet... What exactly does?
I think we ignore a foundational axiom in our regard for, and our seeking honor of men, that "A" cannot be "non A". A false prophet cannot be a true prophet.
A man claims to be a prophet; the man speaks a false prophecy; the man is a true prophet... This syllogism is fanatical and fallacious.
Forgive my simplicity, but that is just basic, logical thought.
