“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.“(Isaiah 60:1)This is before the Lord’s return.Great glory over the Church!Great trouble and darkness over the earth!

Brother, I’m not saying that those that are led by the spirit of God, the sons of God that will be manifest in these last days, that we will not be going through persecution, tribulation, and even being martyred, but we will not fear and we will boldly proclaim the message of Jesus Christ, and like Clint Eastwood said if they threaten to kill us “go ahead make my day .”
Actually, it's a prophecy regarding a renewed Jerusalem after the Lord's return which the church has taken for itself like so many other scriptures regarding Isarel and Jerusalem. Certain points may be taken from it and spiritually used in regards to the church and certain aspects of the church. But first and foremost, in its original setting and context, it concerns the city of Jerusalem.I'm through. Thank you.Blessings.

Yet you hardly hear this emphasis today among all the talk of revival. At least, that's been my experience. It's almost like if we have this great overwhelming revival, which I'm totally for, that this time of trouble will somehow be avoided and circumnavigated around. The most severe time of trial and testing the church has ever experienced is still ahead. Meanwhile, there's Revelationh 12:11.
“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”(Hebrews 12:26-28)
Ditto. I agree.

I would like someone to quote for me scriptural evidence of revival in these end times. I have sought God for many years, ever since I experienced revival among the believers in CA, and the word I have consistently received is not one of revival, but one of walking with the Lord in the midst of trial, persecution, judgment, accusation, and every form of antichrist powers. The word I have received is more like this, "fear the Lord and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment is come, and worship Him who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and the springs of water" and that we are to obey the Lord Jesus, and stand strong in our faith in Him. It is a call for endurance, sitting with Christ in the heavenly places, standing against the powers of the air, walking in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, being a light to the Jews who will be decimated very soon, until Jesus returns with judgment and salvation to Zions holy hill. We are called to overcome by Jesus blood, the word of our testimony, going even to death as a demonstration to the principalities and powers the manifold wisdom of God. Nowhere do I see in a single prophetic scripture anything about revival in these end times; but rather a call to persevere through the darkest time that has ever been in the history of the earth, and ever will be. I actually see more evidence of false revival, lying signs and wonders, deception that will say "peace, peace", ignoring judgment in favor of blessing, false prophets running around with false prophecies stolen from one another, deceiving, if it were possible, even the elect. I think the name "Mike Johnson" has appeared in this thread enough times for me to think of only one word, idolatry. Love not the world, for EVERYTHING in the world is at enmity with God, no exceptions - the world system is not of God, and we are called out from it to the kingdom of God. The system of the world and the kingdom of God are diametrically opposed, on every level and in every way. But I am open to scriptural proof I am wrong.
Brother, God is moving all over this nation. You have not said one positive thing about what the Lord is doing. All you have done is to tear down and criticize. What about Asbury? Do you think that the Spirit of God was being poured out on these students or was it all emotionalism? You have made false statements criticizing servants of God that you absolutely know nothing about, like the lies that you said about Vlad Sadchuk. We that are praying for revival are seeing revival. It is happening in me. It is happening in our church. The critics of revival have always been here since the Great Awakening, and they are still here today, and you are a prime example of one.
What false statements do you accuse me of?I am a strong proponent of revival, if it is the Lord's perfect will. I have both experienced and been used in revival, true revival where the Holy Spirit brought deep conviction of sin, repentance, new birth to many and sanctification to many more. Still, I have yet to see scripture like is requested, only accusations and appeals to my emotions. Am I to take your views based on your accusing me and trying to employ fear as an argument?
