A lot of apathy in the church stems from replacement theology, and the erroneous opinion that the church replaced the natural Jews, and the Jews as an ethnicity are just like any other people. How our Jewish Savior must grieve over this.Anyone who holds the opinion that God has cast off the Jewish people and His promises to them are null and void is ignoring the promises in scripture to them, especially Romans 9 through 11.

I don't think we have had any major leaders of any denomation stand up for anythingIt is like we had Justin Welby who is the archbishop of Canterbury promote multi faith and for the Gaza war to end It has to do with replacement theology but it is more than that as we had a few leaders stand against the lockdowns and we have had barely any leaders stand for Israel I think there is more chance fallen dominos would stand more than the leaders in the church we have now As all the major denomations are pro eco friendly church or pro climate change do not care about the gospel or the fact that in a few years time are country will become an islamic nation due to the population We will be under Sharia law where we are not allowed to build churches or convert people I cant save one person but I know Jesus can In England we are getting persecuted for preaching the bible from the streets I think the bible is preached more on the streets than it is in the churches John Wesley said the world is my parish and I think in most churches you would have a bigger congregation on the street than you would in church
Amen to this thread. I hear you deltadom.Deltadom,You should give a read to the article by a dear friend, and even dearer brother, Reggie Kelly, I posted. I didn't look at this thread before I posted it, but it shows the unity in the purposes of God many of us here are feeling. Thank you brother for your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
I agree the only thing the church of england , URC Church and the methodist have stood for is things that are not in the bible https://mediacentre.christianaid.org.uk/only-a-full-ceasefire-will-deliver-aid-safely-and-effectively-christian-leaders-say/We have christian leaders in the uk calling for a ceasefire and not understanding that it was Hamas that broke the ceasefire originally when they attacked israel and dont understand that Hamas want the complete destruction of israel when they say from the river to the sea https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/nov/13/british-palestinians-demand-meeting-rishi-sunak-gaza-ceasefireAs a christian we have justin welby who wants the destruction of israel by calling a ceasefire Next time these ministries want to do pilgramiges to the holy land they may get a shock UrC Church https://urc.org.uk/your-church/church-local-and-global/commitment-for-life/israel-and-the-occupied-palestinian-territory/Baptist Union https://www.baptist.org.uk/Articles/673532/A_Prayer_for.aspx If you know like me that most churches are into the interfaith movemement With the Joint Publication Document https://jpit.uk/The are standing for the eco church, same sex marriage and everything that is not biblical Ezekiel 8New King James VersionAbominations in the Temple8 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord God fell upon me there. 2 Then I looked, and there was a likeness, like the appearance of fire—from the appearance of His waist and downward, fire; and from His waist and upward, like the appearance of brightness, like the color of amber. 3 He stretched out the form of a hand, and took me by a lock of my hair; and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven, and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the north gate of the inner court, where the seat of the image of jealousy was, which provokes[a] to jealousy. 4 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the plain.5 Then He said to me, “Son of man, lift your eyes now toward the north.” So I lifted my eyes toward the north, and there, north of the altar gate, was this image of jealousy in the entrance.6 Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.” 7 So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall. 8 Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.9 And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.” 10 So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, [b]portrayed all around on the walls. 11 And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. 12 Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’ ”13 And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.” 14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for [c]Tammuz.15 Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.” 16 So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.17 And He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.”I struggle with sin but where are the church leaders that stand against sin. 1 Peter 4:17King James Version17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?and I am the first one who needs to repent. "In response to the Prime Minister’s announcement on net zero policies, the following joint statement has been issued by the Baptist Union of Great Britain, The Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church. We are dismayed that the Prime Minister is delaying the implementation of policies to achieve net zero. As Christian leaders we are deeply committed to encouraging all within our sphere of influence to be ambitious in reaching net zero as we seek to care for God’s creation. This transition must be rapid, equitable and just.At a time when so many people are struggling financially, the government has a crucial role to play in ensuring the cost of transition to net zero does not fall most heavily on those least able to afford it. Delaying measures to insulate homes will have the opposite effect, and slowing efforts to reduce fossil fuel use will increase climate impacts on vulnerable communities around the globe.Extreme weather events this year have demonstrated the urgency of the situation. The independent Climate Change Committee have assessed that even current policy measures are insufficient to meet the UK’s climate targets. The government needs to urgently demonstrate how it will get the UK back on track to reach net zero before 2050.The commitments made at COP26 were instrumental in providing confidence to industry, investors and civil society that the UK was serious about rising to the climate challenge. It is a source of extreme disappointment that the Prime Minister’s announcement will damage that confidence and undermine our collective efforts. As a country, we have moral and legal responsibilities to show leadership in tackling the climate emergency together.Revd Lynn Green, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great BritainRevd Dr Tessa Henry-Robinson, Moderator of General Assembly, United Reformed ChurchRevd Gill Newton, President of the Methodist ConferenceDeacon Kerry Scarlett, Vice-President of the Methodist Conference" https://jpit.uk/church-leaders-respond-to-net-zero-announcementThis is what are leaders are responding to where is net zero in the bible maybe it is in third hesitations or 4th corinithians 2 Thessalonians 2:10and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Then we have the interfaith beliefs of our leaders https://www.archbishopofcanterbury.org/news/news-and-statements/israel-gaza-conflict-uk-faith-leaders-condemn-antisemitism-and-callInterfaith Baptist Churches https://www.baptist.org.uk/Groups/266910/Inter_Faith_Working.aspxInterfaith URC Church https://urc.org.uk/who-we-are/what-we-do/inter-faith/
The Bonhoeffer's or Ten Boom's grew because of a great deal of suffering. There very well may be some in the 3rd world countries that we don't know about them, all we can do is pray for those unknown men and women to stand and keep standing during persecution! And if we suffer, we shall also reign with him, but if we renounce him, he will also renounce us. 2 Tim 2:12And they will reign with Him!!! Hallelujah!

I agree Dominic. But I would call pastors who don't stand up for the flock and compromise on basic doctrine hirelings and not true church leaders.I always knew the end times would be hard for the true church, but I never imagined anything like what we are experiencing. Once strong denominations are crumbling and being gelded by the sodomite agenda, pastors are too compromised to demand full obedience to Jesus from their congregations ("audiences" would be a better word in many cases), churches are being raped by prosperity gospel teaching, and the ones who truly care are scattered to the wind.Come quickly Lord Jesus.
In our age it seems that our church leaders stand for everything accept the bible Everything anti biblical or worldly they stand for There are some that don't I just put some examples when I posted last time as evidence but they didn't stand during COVID to keep churches openThere was many false prophets that didnt predict COVID or that COVID would end Where is the leadership from the bible as if you want to be great in god's kingdom you have to be a servant of all
