We often discuss topics that lead to debates. They have their place, but there are better things we can share.Yesterday 3 of us went out to a little town well known for its rehabilitation clinics. Many sick and elderly people were on the streets, some on crutches, walkers or wheelchairs. We played hymns, distributed tracts and talked to people. Suddenly people sat on benches to listen, and we could talk to them one by one, sharing scriptures and the gospel and our testimonies. There were tears and hugs, we prayed for the sick and the broken hearted. The peace of God was abiding there, perhaps God sent his angels to make this all happen.Would you mind to encourage us with your own testimonies?
I've lived in my home 22 years and my neighbor and his wife have seen me through my alcoholic (early) days to now. He is not doing well, I've never talked to them about the Lord, so I visited them a couple of weeks ago and talked about what the Lord was doing in my life, they laughed at the funny things and was solemn about the serious things with me. When I shook his hand and said, "God bless you." He turned away. He's going to be a tough nut to crack! But God!! I'll be returning to chit chat with them!
