JERUSALEM WILL BE CALLED THE THRONE OF GOD

“At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the LORD, and all the
nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem. No more
shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts.” Jeremiah 3:17 NKJV

God has a glorious future for Jerusalem related to His presence in her.
Jeremiah sees that she will be called the throne of the Lord, although
he lamented about the abundance of her sins in his time. God has a plan
to transform Jerusalem entirely through His glory. She will be known as a
place where God rules. His presence will change hearts; they will reject
evil. Sin will have no more power.

The shekinah glory of the Lord will not only be in the temple but over the
whole city. God will establish His government over Jerusalem. This capital,
once rebuked for her rebellion by the prophets, will be an example of
righteousness. God will demonstrate His zeal and transforming power in
Jerusalem. She will be a trophy of grace in His hand.

God will reign from Jerusalem, and all the nations will gather to His
throne, to the name of the Lord, and to Jerusalem. Is there any more explicit
evidence that Jerusalem has a special place in God’s heart? All the
peoples will see and acknowledge that God has a unique love for Jerusalem,
and they will actually come to the city. The most hostile nations to
Israel will not only gather to the Lord but they will gather to Jerusalem.
All the peoples will submit to the government of God and align with His
sovereign choice of Jerusalem. Their hearts will be set free from evil.


PRAYER I

Our Father,

We bless Your holy name. We praise You for Your heart and plan for
Jerusalem. She will be called The Throne of the Lord. We thank you for
this demonstration of Your jealousy and its transforming power. Jerusalem
will be a trophy of Your persevering love.
We pray that You will enlighten the hearts of Your children all over the
earth.

Let them see the glorious future of Jerusalem, the city You love so
much. Let them understand how Your zealous love can transform a sinful
city into a place of Your glory.

We pray that You protect Your children from the spirit of the age and
from siding with those who hate Jerusalem or with those who write her off
because of her current rebellion against You.
We pray for the Jewish people to encounter Jesus, their Messiah, and be
transformed into His image.

PRAYER II

Day 16 (Day 46 of the Omer, 22 May 2023) Verse 1(c)

“…Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and her salvation as a lamp that burns.”

King of Righteousness, thank You for sharing with me the dazzling dream of Your heart, the glory of salvation blazing in brilliance from Jerusalem across the earth. The vision-dream of Your heart thrills my own. For this dream, which will surely come true, I call forth righteousness and salvation in and from Jerusalem, in Yeshua’s Name.

Let the atoning power of the Blood of Yeshua, shed in what is today the ground of Jerusalem, speak louder than the blood of Abel over the city. Let it break chokeholds of unrighteousness, past and present, in Jerusalem. Let there be a sprinkling in the Spirit of the Blood of Messiah to free the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the bondage of any religious traditions of men that may not please You. Pour upon Jerusalem, even now, a spirit of grace and supplication, that we might yearn from deep within our collective soul for Your salvation. As a Jerusalemite, I declare before You: Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!

I bow low and welcome You, Righteous Yeshua, to Your Jerusalem, City of the Great King. Maranatha, my Savior and my King! Yeshua, as Jerusalem turns to You, let there be, as Your Word says, life from the dead. Ignite Jerusalem as a blazing torch of salvation in Your hand. Let her fire spread to all Israel and all nations, unpacking for them unparalleled treasures.

Raise up evangelists from Jerusalem to traverse the earth, preaching good news in the glory-light of Zion and dynamite-power of Your Spirit. Impart revelation to the Church worldwide of the blessing which awaits them when Salvation goes forth from Jerusalem. Propel them in the fire of Your unquenchable love to pray fervidly for that day.
