TEXT: GENESIS 3:15

''And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel'' KJV

“And I will put enmity (open hostility) Between you and the woman, And between your seed (offspring) and her Seed; He shall [fatally] bruise your head, And you shall [only] bruise His heel.” AMP

True regeneration comes with fiery and fervent love for God; and mortal hatred for the Devil: the regenerate can never love God, and hate Satan enough. The clubs, or cudgels of he who is reborned, is directed at the head of Lucifer for a mortal blow. The whole existence of a saint, is a huge and constant irreconcilable quarrel with Satan; he is out to take revenge on the devil and sin; he bears a bitter grudge against that dragon that dragged him into all the pains of sin and corruption: hence, he lives in open hostility against evil and Satan. He is authorized and allowed to say, 'For this purpose am I born of God: to destroy the works of the devil!' To bruise the head of the old serpent; to give him a mortal blow and grieve him, adding hell to his hell, are the saints called upon to duly execute on Satan and his angels. This enmity is of God own planting and making: it is an irreversible decree, that the seed of Christ must hate Satan and all his works. He is not of the seed of Christ, yea, he is yet to be born of God, or has but a week apprehension of his new state in Christ, whose hatred for Satan leads him not to hate all of Satan's works and entails. As Haman's hatred for Mordecai made him to desire the extinction of all the Jewish race, so also our malice for Satan should incline us against any appearance of evil. Brethren, a man either bruises Satan's head or crowns it by his lifestyle! Sin, the sting of death; the foundation-stone of hell; the key that shut heaven on man and drove him out of paradise, was midwifed by Satan: hence, the remote cause of all the ills of man; this hellish criminal lives in constant labor to have you share in his dismal eternal destiny: so, saints, we cannot hate and watch against him enough!
