Justice has nothing to grant, or Heaven to give, which the blood of the Son of God has not merited. Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. YEHOVAH has ORDAINED that we should walk in good works, in response to HIS gift as noted above. Sin, worldliness, carnality, immorality, none of these and more of course, are GOOD WORKS. GOOD WORKS are HIS afore ordained response by us to HIS mercy and grace. So here again we see that those who believe, obey. Not of their own power but of HIS. HE empowers those who believe. (Ph 2:13) Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. "Ye shall receive POWER". What is this power to be used for? To be HIS witnesses, even unto death. In other words it should be evident to all, that we walk as HE walked. And HE was obedient unto death, death on the CROSS. Question is, are you? YEHOHAH does not and will not make this choice for you. You must decide to OBEY. Not the law of Moses, but the commandments that govern HIS kingdom and define HIS nature and character of purity and holiness. All of these things are of the same gift. If you have been offered this free gift (all have been so offered), amazing as it is, what has been your response, your decision, from this point on? Your answer validates or voids your claim to have received this GIFT by grace through faith. Where did you get faith, if not from YEHOVAH. What have you done, what will you do with this gift? Are there good works (by HIS definition and not man's) evident in your life? Or are you just a believing spectator and pew warmer? Now if you are looking for some clues, as to the kind of good works you should be doing here are some texts for you to ponder. Is 58:1-14, Mat 25:31-46, Romans 12 thru 16. Oh but the payoff for this obedience is found in John....... Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. YEHOVAH will live within, and not just by faith. Faith will open the door to the revelation of HIS glory, HIS manifest presence. We are HIS temple and we can feel HIS presence in our natural man. It is a personal experience and not just a book marker we carry in our bible or a certificate we hang on the wall. We are NEW CREATION LIFE. How can you be changed into new creation life, and not know it? Question is, is your life today HIS new creation filled with good works as HE defines them? Or............???? _________________ Lahry Sibley
