| 1+1+1=1 | | God is Spirit - God infused His Spirit into Jesus Christ, the human man making Him one in God and our Spirit has been infused by this SAME Spirit making us one in God - BY GOD'S doing you are (infused) into Christ Jesus making you one with God and Christ. "But by His doing you are (infused) in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption," 1 Cor. 1:30
In fusion everything is so blended and compounded until each element loses its own identity and an entirely new thing comes forth. Something that neither element inherently possessed is brought into manifestation. How great is the majesty and the wonder of it! "Therefore," says the apostle, "if any man be IN CHRIST, he is a NEW CREATION: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Cor. 5:17).
I am In Christ - Christ is in me. God Is In Christ - Christ is in God. The human Jesus Christ was SPIRITUALLY INFUSED with God's Spirit. God was in Him and He was in God. God's Spirit was joined and fused to His Son's Spirit making Him ONE. Christ did not have two Spirits. God Infused His Spirit with Christ's Spirit taking divine elements of Himself and blending - fusing them with the elements of the Christ's Spirit that God may be formed into an expression in Christ the human man. There is ONE SPIRIT. "He that is joined unto the Lord IS ONE SPIRIT." The one Spirit is that was in Christ was not just God with Christ - it WAS truly GOD. That one Spirit was not merely God in Him - it was God and Christ totally fused in union.
This is what Christ has called us to experience. That we, being many, should become ONE IN HIM: one body, one spirit, one loaf, one family, one mind, one will, one nature, one purpose, one power, one glory, one word - ONE ELOHIM! This is what it means to be a son of God - to be fused together into Him and Him into us who IS THE MIGHTY GOD.
Oh, may God help you to see this and cause you to stop thinking that somehow that you are separated from Him! God has made you a New Creation. It is the Word again made flesh, it is God in our flesh, it is God birthed again as man. It is the glory of the incarnation. It is the compounding of the divine elements of God Himself with the elements of the human personality that God may be formed into an expression as man. There is ONE SPIRIT. "He that is joined unto the Lord IS ONE SPIRIT." The one Spirit is not just IN you - IT IS YOU. It is God's Spirit and your Spirit are now TOTALLY INFUSED together in union making you ONE. We are born again, the same way that Christ was born as a baby, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Nowhere is this beautiful truth of union by fusion more powerfully set forth than in John 17:20-23. "Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as You, Father, are in me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You have sent me. And the glory which You gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and You in me, that they may be made perfect in one..." That they all may be ONE! John 14:23
The Lord Jesus said, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make an abode (home) with him." The word abode means more than just dwell and live, it means home, so both God the Father and Jesus Christ make their home in you. the Triune God settles in us, making us His home, than we make Him our home. This is a mutual home. God takes us as His Home, and we take Him as our home. Our real and permanent home is our God. Christ is our home and our dwelling place. Our real and permanent home is our God. God The Father and His Son's real and permanent home is in us.

1 x 1 x 1 = 1
We can't as people be truly 1 with Christ until we are completely surrendered to Christ.
We must surrender the past the present and the future to him; we must also surrender ourselves Rom 6:13 Surrender yourself unto God.
The Past we must forget the things of the past - I prees on to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus Phil 3:13
The Future are we willing to leave it all in God's hands? Are you afraid of God and what direction he may lead your life?
God knows, he loves, he cares Nothing the truth can dim He does the very best for those Who leave the choice to him
The present All unlove, bitterness, irritability, pride, jealously, resentment all must go.
Why God cannot give all he would until we give all we have and are, if we find it difficult then we must surrender or un-surrender to Christ.
Remember surrender is not making a promise to God to forsake sin - that's living under the law.
Surrender is turning to over God all that we have and all that we are and to always do his will.
It's not surrender that gives the victory, it is not our faith.
It is Christ himself that gives the victory.

| Re: surrender | | Romans 6:13 — The New International Version (NIV)
"Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness."
The point Paul is making in this chapter of Romans is that we are Dead to Sin and Enslaved to Righteousness.
We died to sin with Christ at His crucifixion and were buried with Him and when He rose from the dead we were raised as Him - in His likeness. He now LIVES and dwells WITHIN US. We we have been infused in HIM and He is in US!!
It is ONLY by GOD'S doing you are (infused) into Christ Jesus making you one with God and Christ. "But by His doing you are (infused) in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption," 1 Cor. 1:30
How can a dead person surrender?
Gal. 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I (the infused I) now live in the flesh I live by the (infused)faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
I am In Christ - Christ is in me. His Life is the only LIFE that I have.

| Re: | | Amen . The flesh and the demons and the natural man can't stand this type of teaching of oneness and mature holiness, because it doesn't include them and takes their power to control the body away. Communion is another good example of the oneness we have with Christ. We become one with the bread from heaven ,and the new wine of the new covenant the lifeblood of Christ we are sprinkled and covered, and also we consume, it goes into us our belly our {inermost being } into our own blood becomes who we are, and then affects the mind. We have the MIND OF CHRIST. |

| Re: | | Hello Vern
Yes I agree with what Paul says in Roman 6 but it must become a reality in your life
If you keep reading on into Roman 7 you read about Paul's battle with the flesh and sin.
Roms 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin.
That's the condition of me and the majority of the church, but first God must get you to the point where you see that you are wretched man.
Roms :15-17 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
This guy is still a slave to sin, like the the majority of the church. You see it one thing to be forgiven sin, it's a whole different matter having the sin that remains removed and that sin is replaced with Christ.
He knew that nothing good dwelt in him, he knew he was a wretched man, it like Peter after the third time of cursing the lord he knew.
Gal. 2:20, "I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me
These verses are a complete contrast a Christian life of defeat where sin remains, and where a Christian life of victory where having surrendered all and have been crucified with Christ, where you no longer find sin but Christ living in you.

| Re: Paul's real problem | | When Paul wrote that he found that when he tried to obey the Commandments he could not. There was a law (principle) that prevented him from doing that. He found that this law not only kept him from doing good but it also caused him to do evil things. His hatred for sin did not and could not keep him from doing things that he hated.
The truth is that even if you could obey the law it would not save you, justify you, or make you righteous or give God pleasure God because without faith no one can please God.
Most Christians try their best to be good and avoid evil but every time they try to do that they will fail. They are always involved with some form of behavior modification or sin maintenance program to please God. None of this will ever bring the victory that they so long for. Some of you may be attempting to do this now but you will only find complete failure and defeat.
Many are yet trying to deal with the law by the power of their will. They are still being defeated. Because they fail to see that sin is a law (principle) and that the will cannot overcome the law, they are imprisoned by the law and cannot enter the freedom that Christ offers.
Paul was so defeated that he cries out, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Then he clearly shows the only solution to this problem in Romans 8.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus." We are no longer condemned. Why? Because the Lord Jesus Christ has given us deliverance. It is something the Lord has done. But how does He do it? It is very simple, for it is explained by the second verse: "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death." This is the way of victory. Some people read it this way: "The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from sin and death"? But what does it say? It says that "the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus MADE ME FREE from the law of sin and of death."
The law of the Spirit of life is in Christ Jesus and I am also now in Christ Jesus; therefore by this law I am made free from the law of sin and of death. So Paul thought he could make himself better under the law of sin and was weak and always failed but now he was free from that in Christ Jesus. How? By the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus which has set him free from the law of sin and of death. This problem of deliverance is completely solved.
Paul also stated, 'But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his."
Do not forget that Christ said, “Why do you call me good?”, “No one is good—except God alone. Mark 10:18 The ONLY goodness Christ had was the fact that God Had infused Christ the human man with HIMSELF.
Paul was not still a slave to sin - he made it that vey clear in Rom. 6:22, "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."

Quote: Paul was not still a slave to sin
I guess what I am trying to say is that Paul like most Christians tried his best be good and avoid evil but failed.
He had to get the revelation for himself before he could write about it.
Rom. 6:22, "But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."
Now the question that needs to be asked what is that experience like.
I mean it is one thing to be forgiven of your sins, but a whole different matter to be free from sin.
Looking at that scripture "you become a servant of God"
Servant - person who performs duties for others.
A sinful person performs duties for sin. A person set free from sin performs duties for God.
One type of person is incapable of doing good while the other is incapable of doing bad? The love of God is shed abroad in his heart?
Bro just bear with me, I am beginning to see "it's a gift" being justified is a gift being sanctified is also gift. _________________ Colin Murray

| Re: | | It is impossible for any person to live the "Christian Life" (including Jesus Christ the human man) even with all the help and grace from God that is available. A person needs their Spirit to be INFUSED with God's Spirit that causes this person to be ONE IN Him! Religion, works, and will power can never achieve that.
That was old Covenant. As a result of that infusion, the power of God that is in you will do for you JUST EXACTLY WHAT THE POWER THAT GOD HAD IN JESUS CHRIST DID FOR HIM.
When we think it depends on what we do, say, think, etc., fails, and always fails, because of "the weakness of the flesh," (Rom 8:3). It is perpetually supposed to do so, and will perpetually do so, that we might finally see the futility this false (and idolatrous) idea or consciousness that God's life in us depends in any sense on ourselves because we live by the faith of God, which is knowing that HE has done it, is doing it, and will continue to do it. The Lord of the Universe is inside you now, and HE made a covenant concerning you which do not and can not depend on you to fulfill, but on Him. Depend on the One Who Promised, not the one who receives the promise (you)!
The Spirit teaches us within that He does the works; He does the doing; He does the daily choosing. We generally learn this by repetitive failures coming from believing we have some measure of requirements "we" have to fulfill to make the life "work" in us, when the real truth is that is not the case. He has done it all through the Cross and Resurrection, and there is nothing we can do to add to or make happen what God has done. Our "part" is to just accept it as the gift that it is, which is our expression of faith.
John 5:19,30. "The Son can do nothing of himself, and of my own self I can do nothing." The human Jesus had no power of His own.
John 5:31-33. "If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true." Jesus didn't bear his own witness.
John 5:43. "I am come in my Father's name." Jesus did not come in his own name.
John 6:38. "I came not to do my own will." He did not do his own will.
John 6:57. "I live by the Father." He didn't have his own life.
John 7:16. "My doctrine is not mine." Jesus didn't have a doctrine or teaching of his own.
John 7:28. "I am not come of myself." The Father sent him.
John 8:16. "If I judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me." His judgment was not his own.
John 8:28-29. "I do nothing on My own initiative, but I speak these things as the Father taught Me, I speak these things." He didn't learn from himself, and he didn't teach himself.
John 8:50. "I seek not mine own glory." His glory is not His.
John 8:54. "If I honor myself, my honor is nothing." He doesn't honor himself.
John 12:49. "I have not spoken of myself." Jesus didn't speak his own words.
John 14:10. "I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in me He doeth the works." His works were not His own works.
You wrote
A sinful person performs duties for sin. A person set free from sin performs duties for God.
Now look at this
Now see this, under the old we were slaves of sin under the domain - kingdom and were under the law of sin and death. We were made sinners because of Adam's disobedience. This means we did not just sin occasionally but that is all we did. We could do nothing else but sin because we were FREE FROM righteousness. Righteousness was now impossible. This sin condition was just normal and we could not help it. It is very important to see that this sin condition was not me; it is like a virus, a person who is expressing sin by me. In other words sin is the principle of self-centeredness expressed through me.
Under the new we are NOW slaves of righteousness under the domain - kingdom of the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ and are free from sin - the principle of self-centeredness expressed through me. We were made righteous by the obedience by the last Adam, Jesus Christ. This means we just are not just righteous occasionally but that is all we can be all the time. We can not be something else because free from the domain of sin. It is very important to see that this righteous condition is not me; it is like a virus, a person who is expressing righteousness by me and through me. In other words, righteousness is the principle of pure LOVE expressed through me.
A change of Masters - A change of Fathers -A change from death - to LIFE.
Jesus Christ is our NEW and living way." It is Christ who gives LIFE to the walker.
You have HIS LIFE in you right now!!!
Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us . . . Hebrews 10:19-20
