The sheep and the goats and how to deal with this passage ?

I have recently had so many people add me on Facebook asking for money and the problem is because of the situation with inflation and high electricity and gas prices

I have had requests from Pakistan, Uganda and so many other requests for children and that they do not have enough food.
It is not like I would love to help them but I cant I do not have the finances.

I also sometimes don't know how to differentiate between an orphanage that is a scam and one that is genuine without going to the country.

It is so sad that you have prosperity preachers preaching a false gospel whilst those that preach the true gospel barely have any money, I pray for a better job. I would rather work and be a good witness.

It is almost like the difference between David brainerd and benny hinn

It gets so tiring people asking for money when you don't have any to give , I wish I had wisdom on this subject and how to deal with loads of friends requests on facebook and how to deal with people asking for money when you say you have none.

Do I reply

Acts 3:6
Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Philippians 4:19
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

I barely have enough to get through the month and already give,I barely no how I get through the month financially.
I trust in God each month or each week and day.

Matthew 25

The Son of Man Will Judge the Nations

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the [c]holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44 “Then they also will answer [d]Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Re: The sheep and the goats and how to deal with this passage ?

"Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?" James 2:5

"Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God." Luke 6:20

Brother, I know the struggle. I have been homeless, and have also had to live in places not many people would want to set foot in. I have had to work minimum wage jobs and not know where my next meal would come from. Even when I was destitute, I still tried to help people the best I could.

I remember on one occasion, a single mother I knew had no rent money; she was facing eviction with her teenage son. I emptied my bank account (it just covered her rent), gave it to her, and told her not to pay me back and not to tell anyone where the money came from.

On another occasion, a family I knew had no food, so I gave them everything I had in my cupboards.

I have also had to refuse to help people when I thought they were trying to use me. And, sometimes, I couldn't help people because I had no resources to do so.

You heart is in the right place brother. I know it is hard to not be able to help people at times, but your motives are pure; that's what God looks at.

Remember what Jesus said to the disciples when Mary anointed Him? "The poor ye always have with you." Matthew 26:11. There will always be people who live in poverty; we can't help them all, but we can help some of them.

I like also Jesus' commendation of the poor widow who gave two mites, or a quadrans, the smallest Roman coin. I think God looks at our giving the same way.

I like your comparison of David Brainerd and Benny Hinn. I am quite sure Brainerd will be on God's right hand on that great day, with a handsome reward for his sufferings. I shudder to think of Benny Hinn's fate, when he fleeces poor people and spends $50,000 in one night in hotels with gold toilets (not joking, listen to his nephew Costi talking about it.)
