If I don't want to get a flu shot, and I come down with the flu, why would I not go to the hospital for treatment?This has nothing to do with me suffering for my faith, or lack thereof. If I'm in the hospital suffering and in pain, they aren't going to ask if I'd like to sacrifice my spot or not for another. This would be unlawful for a hospital to do so. I don't need to prove that I have faith by not being treated in the hospital. If I have faith, that faith that I have does not make me stupid. Willingness to be stupid for my faith, and willingness to suffer for my faith are not one in the same.
