 beliefs

just a question for all here.
if you just became a christian and was giving a bible to go & read.
havent read anything else
had not had (good christian indoctrination to a certain denomination)would you still believe what you do know?
i mean if you scrapped your traditions of the church you attend or affiliate with.

would you say all the gifts where for today?
signs & wonders were for today?
angelic visitations? visions & dreams
or would you say these things have passed & arent for today?

just a thought would love to hear other peoples views on this

 Re: beliefs

The Bible is the well of knowledge for a cristian at anytime, and not traditions.

Any reformation or revival was/is marked by a comming back to the thruths of the Bible.

The fact that we do not experience all the gifts, does not make them void. But also we should not try to "fabricate" them to "fulfill" the req.

When any church does not fulfill the bible, it means that it is not full of, and it needs more of the Holy Spirit.

But the word of God stays true.

I have often wondered why there is not healing as their was in the Gospels. I often pray that God would move in such a mighty way that everyone HAD to know that it was the work of God.
