Rhuomai-You are ridiculous. But thanks for your concern. And you misquoted me. I never said I was ashamed of the traditional view. I said I was ashamed that I never bothered to even learn about other views which I now believe to be correct. And I am not the only one. Dispensationalism has not been a “tradition” for very long in the overall scheme of things. Great biblical scholars like Matthew Henry felt the papacy/RCC was the Beast of Revelation and quite frankly if one insists on identifying this Beast his interpretation (and others of his day) fits quite nicely- both as the Beast and the man of lawlessness. Mind you I never said that things will not get very bad on the earth as we move toward the Lord’s coming. You have shown the tendency to pontificate in your posts I have seen. You can pontificate all you want but please do not do it with me. Discussion is fine; pontificating is annoying and pompous.

I also accept that you expressed yourself as being ashamed of not taking regard to other views from what you called the traditional view. So I didn't quote you, I simply paraphrased an idea borne out of what you said. Now that we are clear in our submissions we are without excuse Tod.
