You will be assimilated, Resistance is futile.Jokes and sci-fi references aside, this is disturbing. Just because we can, doesn't mean we should.
Christopher, How would you say that this serves as a "sign of the times..." You placed quotation marks as if to say you are connecting these things (articles) with scripture. What connection are you making with the verse in the Bible which uses these words? If indeed that's what you had in mind.
Hi savannah,I was using the term "sign of the times" as a colloquial expression rather than indicative of a specific "sign" from the Bible. At the same time, I do think that this is interesting in that it could be anecdotal to the passage in Revelation 13 about a mark that people will be forced to receive.
"And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.Revelation 13:16-18 NASB
