Woe to those who live in luxury and expect everyone else to serve them!
Woe to those who live only for today, indifferent to the fate of others, or the consequences tomorrow shall surely bring!
Woe to the playboys, the playgirls, who think life is a party held just for them!
Woe to those addicted to feeling good, life without pain! those obsessed with looking good, life without wrinkles!
They could not care less about their country going to ruin.

Do you hold a horse race in a field of rocks? Do you plow the sea with oxen? You’d cripple the horses and drown the oxen.
And yet you’ve made a shambles of justice, a bloated corpse of righteousness, Bragging of your trivial pursuits, beating up on the weak and crowing, “Look what I’ve done!”

Today it is a dog-eat-dog world; life is in constant peril and turmoil. No one, regardless of country, knows what the next day might bring. YEHOVAH is letting loose every kind of trouble among you, yet you still do not repent. Your gods are crumbling all about you, as you sink in the mire of debt and personal loss of every kind. Yet you will not repent. You celebrate the feasts of false gods, yet ignore the desperate need of righteousness and holiness in your midst. You act as though you will live forever in luxury, greed, and lust, as death stands at your door.

Deep in your heart you know it's true. But in your mind you simply cannot imagine for a moment, the loss of your gods, your pleasures, your gadgets, your wealth, knowing full well that all of this is about to change. This is not a word for some time in the future. This is a word for today. Yet so many who hear it will not listen. Neither will YEHOVAH hear your prayers to save your flesh, while your soul is swallowed up in SIN. CHURCH PEOPLE.

OH how FAITHFUL and TRUE is HAYAH (I AM). For in HIS wisdom HE knows that HE must break you and strip you of all that you worship, your possessions and your zeal in pursuit of pleasure and immorality. Your status symbols are a glare most despised in YEHOVAH's eyes. ICABOD!!! Can't you see the glory of the LORD has departed you oh lovers of division and strife? No. You can't. Because HAYAH will not allow it, not until HE is ready. Not until you have nothing left to behold but life itself, and the LOVE your REDEEMER who endured so much for you. Only then will your eyes see and your ears here. I pray HIS mercy allows you to live to see that day, and that your HEART will BRAKE in sorrow and grief over your sin. Destruction of your flesh, that your soul might be saved. Not because you deserve it, but because HE chose to love you that much.

The grief of YEHOVAH, is the thought of spending all of eternity without YOU! Will you be a part of HIS great joy, or HIS deep abiding sorrow? HE's made HIS choice. When will you make yours?

Todd, I might be wrong about the tone part, but the message that Larry brings is similar to what Jesus said to His people in the letter to the Laodiceans. Unless I'm reading that letter wrong, these "blind, wretched and naked" people who could not see their own immorality, covetousness and self dependence were God's children and the threats Jesus warned of were quite severe. Also, James spoke by the Spirit to Jesus' people calling them an evil, adulterous and double minded generation. Perhaps Larry's tone is too severe. but a suggestion that Jesus did not say similar things or also have a very severe and somber tone towards a certain group of people or peoples calling themselves by His name but only spoke such ways to non believing pharisees is not accurate.

TMK. Thank you for your comment. I am addressing the same folks in the current hour. They either preach a false "gospel", or they preach what they themselves fail to live out in their ordinary every day life. Hypocrites. Pretenders. Actors. Many called "pastors". (I said many, not all.)

There is also an admonishment, warning and exhortation by Paul to the spiritually alive Christians in Ephesians 5 not to participate in the fruits of darkness ( primarily in context immorality and covetousness). He calls God's people who are involved in such things to "wake up" because they are figuratively "sleeping with the dead". Paul warns them with severity that people involved in such things will not inherit the Kingdom. The sleeping Christian isn't the person unaware of evil but rather one who is blind or in the dark about their own behaviors that are similar to the world's that they've been brought out of. Similar to Laodecia. Paul tells them to arise or wake up out of darkness or spiritual sleep before they drift off permanently. That is a severe warning from the Spirit of Christ even to God's own people. We don't always read it that way though. Until the church gets used to the idea that Jesus severely and sternly warns in deep concerned love to His own people, then I fear God's people won't wake up as intended. The heart darkened and numb to the wooings of Christ are in great need of the loving pricks of the goads of Christ in order to sensitize a heart that is no longer tender.

Why the constant refrence to YEHOVAH etc. when 99% of Christians use the word God and Lord? Yehovah or Jehovah is actually a hybrid word put together from two different words for convenience sake centuries after the original manuscripts were recorded. It's not found in any original Hebrew or Greek manuscripts of the Bible. About the only group convinced it's God's true name are the Jehovah's Witnesses and other such groups. Are you perhaps a member of any of these groups?
