Here are a few verses from Scripture
Luke 24…46And He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47and in His name repentance and forgiveness of sins will be proclaimed to all nations, beginning in Jerusalem. 48You are witnesses of these things.…
Matthew 28v19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you
Acts 14v21They preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples. Then they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of the disciples and encouraging them to continue in the faith. “We must endure many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,”
This should give us a bit an idea where we have failed.
It is about the Gospel, repentance, obeying, continue in the faith etc.
I still want to talk about today's "Gospel" in a different thread. |

David, I guess I should have explained myself a little better. My version of "packed up and ready to go is" 1. I've done all that God has required of me to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. 2. I'm ready when the good Lord comes back for me. All else in between, I let others worry about, again I'm not going to live/spend my short "vapor" of a life concerning myself until I have to get on antidepressants, or put into a straight jacket. I would rather spend it in Prayer and focusing on the Lord to lead me and guide me in his everyday will for my life. God made us all different right down to our fingerprints, it’s absolutely ok that we’re all different. The longest bridge in life that was the very hardest for me to cross was, that bridge that everyone should think and be like me, Praise Jesus! I’ve now made it to the other side.
