We are so infused with Christ that we are highly contagious. We are so full of HIS LIFE giving Spirit that people are infected by Christ either by direct or indirect contact with us. We are a walking Ark because we are fully occupied by a LIVING GOD! We have a LIVING river of Life that overflows to others. We are highly infectious.

Nice thoughts! I've just not found that to be true in real life, nor have I found it in the Bible. If becoming a christian was even a tad similar to catching some infectious disease that was contagious, we'd see an increase in numbers around the globe of new converts to the faith of Christ.Let's keep it real! And let's keep it Scriptural!
Yes, we can be as highly obnoxious as well. Remember the inquisitions and the crusades, or the holocaust. You may say that they were but very serious cases of name-dropping, evil people that put the name of Christ in vain. But let us think deeply, especially of how we act on our theological prejudices, or our sense of being an elect. Let us be warned on what happened to Israel, "Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;" (Rom 11:9) i.e. Let their very blessings prove a curse to them, and their enjoyments only sting and take vengeance on them (JFB Bible commentary).
/we'd see an increase in numbers around the globe of new converts to the faith of Christ./The church is growing in number every day in almost every country in the world. An increase in evil does not mean the true church is not growing.

Asking, 'why are they at peace and I'm not? Etc.'You keep being infectious!! I will be infectious with you, brother or sister! The joy of the Lord is our strength!! God bless you!Lisa

"One of the reasons the Love of God is contagious is that it is resilient. It has the ability to be flexible and bend and withstand whatever is thrown against it. It withstands the strain without breaking or being permanently damaged. And in most cases it is strengthened rather than weakened. When the resiliency of God's love fills us, then our lives are resilient as well. We are able to withstand more. We are able to bend more without breaking. It's not us but the power and presence of God in us through the Holy Spirit. And that's an important word to hear, especially since we live in a time of life when we never know when the next storm will hit.""Living our faith enthusiastically is one of the ways that the love of God is made contagious. We communicate, through our lives, that God's love is real, that God's love has power, that God's love is not pie in the sky but is important and has effected a change in our lives. The easiest way to spread the Good News of God's love is simply by living it enthusiastically."By Billy D Strayhorn
