I wonder if anyone here came accross this man. He is a self-proclaimed prophets who dresses like a Hindu guru (!?). He talks a lot about his visions and appeared on Jim Bakker's program (hmm).By listening some of his teaching snippets, he seems to say good and right things, but I find his visions a bit too boastful. This makes me feel uncomfortable and instinctively I sense something fishy here. There are the more obvious false prophets who disqualify themselves with private jets, unbiblical teachings and other scandals. This man however talks about repentance, fasting, devotion to God and other issues that the false church usually avoids. I think deception is becoming more and more subtle and you cannot detect it by a simple theological litmus test, or checking his net worth or by the fellowes he hangs around with. Of course, there are dozens of other like him, and you simply cannot keep up with what is popping on the scene. However, I think we must be prepared that deception is getting more and more subtle, for ...false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Mat 24:24We must take some time a check their fruit, which takes timeMat 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
I don't think he's legit. He called me long distance from Singapore 12 years ago because I illustrated a book on Sadhu Sundar Singh (whom he "models" himself after - except for Singh's poverty, of course), & ordered a lot of copies before I knew what he was all about. There was an allegation that he had an out of court settlement with a Bollywood actress some years ago. I'm sure you can find all this online.
